Thanks for showing what you carry. Myself I carry fix blade in a pancake sheath also carry a pocket knife. When I go to church I only carry a pocket knife. Well a pistol too.
My grandfather gave me my first pocket knife for my sixth birthday...66 years ago, and I've carried one in my pocket ever since. When folks ask if I have a knife, my standard answer is, "Do I have my pants on?" I've led a pack string for over 30 years. When I'm leading the pack string, I not only have my regular pocket knife in the front pocket of my Wranglers, but I always have a 4-inch fixed blade on my belt, because if an animal goes over an edge, it's one of those situations where you can't cut rope fast enough...and it's pretty tough getting a pocket knife out when you're wearing chaps. Great video. Thanks for getting this kind of information out there. Some folks might say, "Well, heck, that's just common sense." But I have found that common sense is the least common of all senses. Thanks again.
5.25: pocket knife handle , if it is easy to sharpen it is easy to dull . I Like 55-60 hardness stainless better but each to his own ! I have the vintage boker 111011SGB , very similar to your folder ( did you say henry?) , a little hard to find ! Its vintage and carbon steel so I don't edc it sort of a collector peice for me ( love it ,took a little while to find , saw it in a movie wanted it for years , but could not find one )! Carried the buck 110 for many many years. I mostly use the custom ( by me ) cold steel recon 1 . I do the lanyard and pocket clip in the back pocket, eaay to get at ( I'm in sheeplevill mist of the time )! I like the old folders because I seen them in cowboy movies here and there ! Can't say old cowboy movies because they were made when I was young ! Good vid ! Didn't know there was a needle wrench knife , cool ?
You can get a carbon knife from ace hardware. The old yellow Case xx trapper. When you get one put the blade in a potato for a day or 2 until it turns black, that’ll keep it from rusting.
Howdy sir, maybe a silly but interesting question, Do you have or even consider to carry a Cold Steel Spartan? For me is the perfect hybrid of a Folder and a Rat Tail Bowie Knife to carry, and even sometimes the blade feel clumsy because is big wide enough, for my tasks as "Urban Cowboy" delivering packages here in my City or using in hard cuts is great, aside is an option for self defense. Also with my Spartan carry a CS Secret Edge, and this Shian-Duh Scottish thin dagger also makes a good edc. Greetings from Ol' Mexico Amigo.
Thanks for watching my channel. Much obliged for pointing out a new knife and recommendations. I will look at their reviews. Maybe I will try one? Until then, stay safe and enjoy the warm winter. - TE
Howdy, I wish that was me. Lol I am not that talented. That is my friend Joe Merrick of the famous 14 Ranch down in Oklahoma. He has a few albums out. -TE
Absolutely, It is a a habit I picked up back in my scouting days too. It is a good habit to have. Thanks for watching my channel. Cheers- TE, Eagle Scout.

My Grandpa called it a knot wrench...
It's also good, if you have a flint so you can start a fire...
