The connection I feel with you guys is hard to describe. Leaving such a magical place is hard and I feel sad this Alaska adventure is over. This series have been your best work yet. The photography, history information, tips, priceless! Thanks so much for sharing it with us. You will back, I’m sure, and we will be following you along. What else can I say. Love you guys! God bless and safe travels! ❤
Thank you for your videos. You guys make the most out of every day and always find the best places to visit. Alaska is immense and very intense as well. Beautiful and very well done. Looking forward to your next videos.
Alaska is my home, and I’ve been to pretty much every spot you guys visited, but somehow I still found myself in awe of your adventures and I really loved watching every episode! I have gone back and watched almost every video you guys have made now at this point from all over the country and it’s hands-down the best travel channel on TH-cam! Safe travels!
You will be back! We’ve hugged the Big Bend and Grand Canyon signs too for that very reason. Two and a half months is a good chunk of time, but it’s always hard to say goodbye.
I am so sad to see your Alaska adventure come to an end as you are I am sure😰 You both are such a blessing and what makes it even better is all the info we get from you on all the places to go. No matter the weather you always have great attitudes and any change of plans you take in stride! You both are the most likable people to watch and listen to and can’t wait to see where you take us next! Safe travels🙏👱♀️
It's been so fun and exciting watching each video of this adventure! The quality of the videos is getting better and better. Looking forward to see where you guys are headed next!
Bitter-sweet..... what an adventure you have take us on, and for lighting a fire in me. Plans are forth coming... Can't wait to see the next set of videos, to hear your thoughts. Until next time.. Travel safe.
Alaska was so much fun will miss it 😭 . Thank you for sharing your trip with all us. Of course you have to show your chicken 🐔 moves in Chicken 🐔 🙄 love ❤️ the mama and baby moose crossing.
Such stunning views yet again. I'm sure it's bittersweet to end your Alaska trip but I'm confident you have more epic adventures to come. We always enjoy watching!!! Safe travels.
Loved all your Alaskan videos and can’t wait to see you guys go to Alaska again. Happy belated birthday Katherine! Where are you guys planning to go next?
Awwww it's hard to leave such a special place. Alaska will live in your hearts and minds forever!❤ Thank you for letting us share in all the beauty and history!!!
So sad for you guys! But excited to keep following the adventure! You guys crushed it in Alaska. It will be cool whenever you return and the new things you can see and routes you can take.
Loved the sign in Chicken of the distance to all the other places with chicken related names! 🤣 I had to Google what A la Mode means as I've heard it before but not known what it was. Do you guys ever have hot custard with a fruit pie? It's amazing, you must try it some time! It's crazy how autumnal the landscape looks despite it still being August there. You guys really squeezed the most out of their 'warmer' season, just such a shame that you guys had to have the unexpected pause thanks to COVID! Very impressed by the free ferry service to Dawson City - when you said about the ice, I thought for a moment you were going to say you could drive across in a regular vehicle. Would I be right to think the highway is closed in winter then since the only options across the river are to walk and snowmobile. The viewpoint before you crossed was stunning and reminded me of a viewpoint just outside of Jasper... and that's not got me wondering if you may be returning to the lower 48 via the icefield parkway! 🤔
Chicken was so quirky and fun! Hot custard and fruit pie sounds awesome! We don't eat much custard in general but especially because Kathryn can't eat eggs. But I would devour it! 😋 Oh just wait for the next few videos about the fall colors! It was incredible! We hit it at the perfect time! The ferry was awesome. In one of our videos coming up we have to cross a couple more rivers on similar ferries and in the winter they create ice bridges that you can drive over! 😳 That viewpoint was super! No Icefield Parkway this trip. Didn't have time to swing over there because of the darned aforementioned COVID and a variety of other reasons!
Thanks for visiting Alaska and for the fun vlogs along your adventures. I wish this summers weather would have been better, the record rainfalls has been disappointing to us all. If you ever come back, I’d love to show you both a trail or two.
We had a blast in Alaska! It was even better than we hoped! The weather was tough at times, but it worked in our favor when we really needed it to! We'll be back!
That was an amazing adventure. So beautiful. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for taking us with you and I hope all is well and have a safe trip back. See you soon ✌
Honestly, no materialistic things can beat nature in bringing happiness to our hearts and souls. Nature is home 🏡 Thank you for the amazing videos!!! I still have to catch up on few of Alaska. Our world is beautiful 😍
Thank you for all of your videos. My daughter went on a 8000 miles road trip with just her and her dog and your videos were very informative and fun to watch. Are you ever going to Tennessee?
Wow that's incredible! Go her! Thank you so much and thanks for watching! We have been to Tennessee a couple times. I'm not sure when we'll be back though. We have a lot of places on our bucket list in Tennessee so we'll be back one day!
I thought you'd "Chicken" out dancing with that giant chicken.!! The cherry pie sure looked like the best way to exit Alaska-alamode would have been like a glacier. Now for a currency change again. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️
We so enjoyed you sharing your Alaskan adventure. We moved to Alaska nine year ago (from Bend!) and went through many of the same delights you experienced. Now Alaska is our new favorite home.
Great video. I've been to Dawson city Yukon and it's alot of driving and miles on the road even coming from Vancouver Island BC. You've made it exciting. I went in July 2015 and it was quite cool with some rain. We did see a herd of Buffalo and a grizzly. I've seen a few of your vids but will check out more. If you stop in Whitehorse, the centre where you can see Northern lights is very cool. Lots of Klondike history too. Enjoy the journey!
Thank you for all the gorgeous videos and fun adventures through Alaska! We have thoroughly enjoyed every single video of yours and I have been adding to our list more and more places to go in our camper van thanks to y’all! We are also big coffee drinkers so I definitely make note of all the coffee shops. The views are just spectacular in your Alaska series and every video I’m just going “Wow! Beautiful!” Can’t wait to see it all in person someday
Your Alaska series of videos was a lot of fun. I had been to a few of the places you visited but saw so many new places and new experiences. Well done!
I knew this was coming when your newsletter came this month, but it was still a little sad to see you leave Alaska. It went by so fast! I'm so glad you got to achieve that goal, and really enjoyed coming along. The glaciers take my breath away on video. I'm sure they were amazing in person! Thank you for your videos and I'm excited for the next adventure.
Thanks guys. Love your coverage. We did 3mo Alaska same same just ahead of you…fantastic coverage. Your vids way better than my iPhone stuff. Thanks !!! Chicken rocks. Keep up the adventures.
You had a wonderful trip to Alaska & thank you for sharing all you saw there! Perfect timing to watch these & see more about this state because our grandson & wife just arrived in Wasilla, AK he is stationed there with the Air Force. So hoping they will enjoy some travels of their own!! Enjoy your travels, you are so much fun to watch.
thank you for sharing your incredible adventure in AK enjoyed every epsiode. you made it so much fun.have a safe trip back to USA. and safe driving. keep us posted on up coming destations!!💖
We are sad to see you leave Alaska too, but we know that even more great adventures await!!! P.S. We agree, it was an "eggcellent" stop in Chicken...lol!
My son is 2 1/2 and he calls you guys the "doggie people" because of Kona. 😆 As soon as Adam popped up on the screen to do the intro, he said "doggie people get coffee!" Sad to see the Alaska series come to a close, but excited to see what you guys do next.
The drive from Dawson City to Chicken was beautiful and the border crossing was the easiest one we uncounted. The best way to drive the highway is to do it on your return trip back to the states. We drove it on the way to Alaska in July , and got behind a caravan heading to Alaska .It took over 4 hours to cross on the ferry ,so then we were way behind on time and couldn't enjoy the highway like we planed. And any one driving a RV that has low ground clearance . BEWARE your probably going to bottom out getting on and off the ferry.
We agree, that border crossing was very easy and friendly. That would not be fun and would be frustrating to get stuck behind a caravan! And yes we agree....definitely take a vehicle with high clearance! Thanks for watching!
You two had me cackling up! hehe loved this video! Looking forward to exploring the Yukon. I loved looking back at Alaska. So beautiful. I know you'll miss it. Your videos were beautiful.
Before watching your videos, we were going to do the cruise/train vacation of Alaska. But, after watching all of your videos, we’ve completely changed our minds and plan to do a similar trip, although we’ll only have 10-12 days. You guys are amazing!!!
You Guys have made these adventures fantastic…the drone footage has really brought the videos up a notch…sad to leave your Alaska adventure, but it’s been great..continue the fun..Thanks…
Thanks for sharing excellent content w/TH-cam! You guys r awesome 👌 I appreciate the vids of Alaska. Now I need to plan a trip w/friends. Safe travels.
As an Alaskan that has lived here since the 60s I have ridden my motorcycle many times into and through Canada (including 2019 when I rode to Vegas and back and this year to Washington State) I have really enjoyed your videos of your time in our beautiful State. And I may be a little biased, but I also think it is the most majestic and beautiful of all the States. It's certainly the largest by far (sorry Texas🙂) Just a FYI, I once did the Sourtoe Cocktail in Dawson. I'll have to wait until your next video to see if either of you did as well. Safe travels.
It definitely is the most majestic and beautiful! And we don’t drink, so we didn’t do it, but we do share about it and have a clip of friends doing it!
I never understood the attraction of Alaska… until I I watched your journey. I don’t know how religious you guys are but after watching this series, it’s obvious how God took great care and with such precision to create such an amazing place. I especially enjoyed the cultural and history lesson. You guys exude so much energy and you’re funny as heck! I’m so envious. But very grateful for all I’ve learned watching. Thanks for taking us along.
Hello Adventurers😄😄, WOW...What a beautiful drive...WAY up there in elevation...and y'all stop stop in Chicken and don't save us any pie...thats not fair😞. Dawson City looks like a Gem of a place. I can't wait to see that footage. OUTSTANDING VIDEO!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.
Nooooooo!!! You can’t leave! 😢 Ah well, all good things come to an end. We have thoroughly enjoyed every single one of these Alaskan vlogs! They have been awe inspiring and given us so many wow’s, smiles, and laughs! You’re truly one of the best TH-cam channels ever! If you could give some recommendations of Alaskan must see/do for someone who only has 2 weeks there in your recap video that would be amazing. Sending you good vibes…till next time…
We were so bummed to leave, but Alaska was everything we dreamed of and more! Thank you so much for your kind words, Brad! Our recap video is out now, hopefully it was helpful!
Wonderful series I have been with you all through from purchasing your van and modifying it to suit your journeys it has been amazing following you all through, from Kenya east Africa am sending my warmest greetings and a big thank you for taking me through Alaska the home of cute mountains. A big thank you to your wife for always standing by and supporting you all through, from my office desk and back at home i have keenly been following you not forgetting your very obedient pet my question is what's your next project? Your footages are of a highest notch keep going Adventure of A+K !
Loved the town of Chicken! I also love your fun personalities…your dancing always makes me smile! The mama and baby moose were so awesome to see! The fall colors were beautiful and that ferry was so cool but a lot different than the Bainbridge Ferry! 😂 I have LOVED your Alaska videos and was so sad to know you had to leave too because I know how much you LOVE Alaska! Until you meet again…safe travels❣️ 😘❤️❤️❤️🐶🥰
I drove this same route four times; twice each way in 2017 and 19. The second drive I stunned to see the Welcome to Alaska sign missing at the border. I wrote to find out but never received an answer. Now that you've included it with your video, I can see why it was missing. It's been refurbished to look brighter and newer than the old one.
@@AdventuresofAplusK I've got plenty more to share: the beauty of isolation; the Dalton; the Dempster; Arctic Circle in both countries; dips in Arctic Ocean in both counties; the hilarious encounters with wildlife; midnight sun and the ballgame; my Alaska Train ride; Dawson City; flat tires on the Dempster and help from a resident in Tuktoyatuk. Oh boy the greatest adventures of my life.
What a great series of AK!! So many amazing adventures!! Continued safe travels! As for me I going to rewatch you Hawaii adventures because we are going in Feb!!
What an Alaskan adventure, indeed!!! Looking forward to what's next! Also, how long was that ferry ride? Didn't look too far from one side to the other!
Its awesome that you did the Tok to Dawson drive and got to see Chicken! I've only seen that part of Alaska in the winter. We did a snowmachine (snowmobile) run called the Trek Over The Top from Tok to Dawson and back and Chicken was the refuel point both ways. We left Tok and it was -30f and it just didn't warm up all the way to Dawson. By the time we got to Dawson, it was -37f. The Customs at the border was obviously closed so you had to pre-clear with all your info before going on the ride. To clear customs you had to go to Diamond Tooth Gerties in Dawson to meet the Canadian Customs officer who after checking our ID's and marking us as arrived said Welcome to Canada eh! The bar is over there, go get a drink and warm up! We really enjoyed the main part of town where its all made up to look like it did in the Klondike gold rush. And just like you said about the winter when the ferry is out of service crossing the Yukon river on our sleds (snowmobiles) . The lookout you stopped at before you got into town that overlooked Dawson, we were so happy to stop and see the sight of civilization! After riding in subzero temps all day, we were ready to be someplace and get warm. Our return trip 2 days later, 20f. The temperature literally came up over 50 degrees in a matter of days. Anyway, long story short, thanks for the summer view of that area! Some day we'll make it there when its a tad warmer and the snow is gone!!!
Thank you for sharing Alaska with us! We will likely never get there in person so traveling via your channel has been so much fun. The quality of your videos is spectacular! Kathryn what is the lip color you wear again? Lol I promise to write it down again this time. It looks so pretty on you! 😊
Y'all had great weather driving the Top of the World Highway. I'm surprised you didn't mention the crazy first 15 miles until the Walker Creek bridge after Chicken. In September the colors are more beautiful and there are lots of berries to pick. Sorry to see you leave the state but excited to see your adventures in Dawson City.
Yes we did have great weather! The fall colors were really getting started. I think we hit pretty close to peak colors on one of our upcoming adventures in Canada. It was spectacular! I'm not sure if we just have a higher tolerance for rough roads or if the road has recently been worked on or what, but we honestly didn't think the road was all that bad. We go slower on unpaved roads so maybe we don't feel it as much We were super bummed to leave, but have lots of fun stuff planned for the rest of the year!
😢😢 I’ve enjoyed your whole Alaska adventure, I hope to get there someday, although that someday is a long ways off yet! Please don’t let Alaska be your “Last Frontier”, as I use your videos as one of my references for places that I have also visited! Keep up the great work!
Wasn't that a cool trip, todays video brought back memories of my trip through Chicken and Dawson City in 2018 one of my best ares to travel. Keep up the good videos I'm enjoying them very much.
Heading to Dawson City? Maybe you'll run into another favourite TH-camRS of ours, EPIC FAMILY ROAD TRIP, who are up at TUK now and soon on their way back south. Wont you at least go to TOMBSTONE TERRITORIAL PARK on the Dempster? We were there last September with our Pathfinder/A-frame trailer and had no problem on that 170kms of highway. It's a beautiful park!!!

The trip flew by! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Your Alaska series has been so eggciting. Thanks so much for all the fun and adventure.
😂 thank you!
Before watching your videos, we were going to do the cruise/train vacation of Alaska. But, after watching all of your videos, we’ve completely changed our minds and plan to do a similar trip, although we’ll only have 10-12 days. You guys are amazing!!!
A van or truck camper is definitely the way to experience Alaska, if you can! Thanks and thanks for watching!
You Guys have made these adventures fantastic…the drone footage has really brought the videos up a notch…sad to leave your Alaska adventure, but it’s been great..continue the fun..Thanks…
We had a blast and it was everything we hoped it'd be and more! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing excellent content w/TH-cam! You guys r awesome 👌 I appreciate the vids of Alaska. Now I need to plan a trip w/friends. Safe travels.
We hope our videos are helpful in your planning! Thank you and thanks for watching, Sherry!
We're happy and thankful we get to do what we do and can share our adventures for others to enjoy! Thanks for watching!

Dawson was awesome!
Thanks for the adventure !

From here we headed even further north and then we'll head back down to the lower 48!
It was a spectacular drive!
Chicken dancing! 😂 Excellent video guys good think Alaska is huge and has a lot waiting for you to explore! Thanks for taking us along! ~Cara 🐥🐣
Thanks for coming along with us!
Oh wow! We loved all the Welcome to Alaska signs! They are beautiful. Thanks for watching!
That's awesome!
What an Alaskan adventure, indeed!!! Looking forward to what's next! Also, how long was that ferry ride? Didn't look too far from one side to the other!
We're excited to share what's next! The ferry ride was maybe 10 minutes tops!
It was a spectacular drive! I can't imagine doing it int he winter though!
What a great trip to Alaska. Thanks for taking us along!, 👏
Thanks, David!
Thank you for sharing Alaska with us! We will likely never get there in person so traveling via your channel has been so much fun. The quality of your videos is spectacular! Kathryn what is the lip color you wear again? Lol I promise to write it down again this time. It looks so pretty on you! 😊
We're glad we could share! Thanks for watching!
It is Revlon Color stay Backstage #35 I think
We go slower on unpaved roads so maybe we don't feel it as much
We were super bummed to leave, but have lots of fun stuff planned for the rest of the year!
This journey was so fun to watch it was like I was there with you guys.
Thanks for the video. Even though you have left Alaska I am sure you will have more adventures to come.
Plenty of awesome adventures on tap!
You guys are living the dream way to go we are happy for you guys . You 2 are so funny !!
Thanks, Mark!
Thanks for the video, we are heading towards the top of the world highway now. We will be in Tok tomorrow then off to chicken.
Awesome! We hope you enjoy!
The chicken dance was perfect for all the Oktoberfest coming up!!
You are so cute together, thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
Thanks for watching!
😢😢 I’ve enjoyed your whole Alaska adventure, I hope to get there someday, although that someday is a long ways off yet! Please don’t let Alaska be your “Last Frontier”, as I use your videos as one of my references for places that I have also visited! Keep up the great work!
There's no end in sight! Thanks for watching!
I really have enjoyed your time in Alaska.
We’re glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Sorry you had to leave but looking forward to your next adventure!
We're excited to share!
Wasn't that a cool trip, todays video brought back memories of my trip through Chicken and Dawson City in 2018 one of my best ares to travel. Keep up the good videos I'm enjoying them very much.
It was a special journey. Thanks for watching!
We’re long gone from Canada, but did all that you mentioned. Stay tuned! 😊
You guys this is such a gorgeous video!! ❤❤
Thanks, Emma!
I can't believe your Alaska adventure is over. That went waaay too fast.
Tell us about it!
There is a lot more in Chicken and along the Highway to see then they show!!!
Yes there is. So much to see so little time. Thanks for watching
Welcome to Canada's beautiful north!
Thank you! 🇨🇦
I have really enjoyed this trip!
Glad you liked it!
