Your Alaska adventures were amazing, thanks so much for taking us along! I was on an Alaskan cruise a few years ago but your videos make me want to drive there as well. Safe travels to you and God bless.
Wow! The road was not smooth when we drove in July. It was mess. That border agent took our firewood, and we saw that they had a big fire that night at the station. We still laugh at that. (We boondocked at the pulloff just after the crossing.) Glad you had a safe trip
Glad you Kidz did the top of the world hwy, we camped and witnessed the northern lights it was epic, silent and would recommend an overnight or two. Congrats nice to see your channel growing 😊
In the north the dempster and top of the world highways they put the road on top of of mountains because in the winter the valleys are usually 10 to 30 degrees coulder
Hello Fellow RVers ~ as good as organization skills that you have I'm surprised you don't have a post-it on the dash with your height is both Feet & Meters. Well we had great fun in Alaska. Thanks for allowing us to tag along. Just an FYI as we love boat docks too. It's our favorite form of entertainment. Smooth roads & enough wifi.
We been across the Ferry in a 35 ft five wheel and our new 38ft tag long and our long wheel base Ram. So i know how you felt loading on the Ferry. There is no doubt the view is breath taking and a better road then Destruction bay for sure. Have fun and enjoy the rest of the trip. Be safe
We tore our spare tire and it's rack off the tongue of a small trailer while loading onto a ferry that size a few years ago - so I can imaging the uncertainty with how low the rear jacks are on a 5th wheel - glad you made it across without losing any parts!
Oh gosh!! Well, that just proves we did have cause for concern, I bet that was a stressful day. 😅 I am really glad we raised our rear jacks because I feel like it might have been toooo close otherwise
When we were up from Whitehorse the forest fire smoke limited visibility on Top of the World to less than half a mile so we turned around and went back. The river was really low and they were having to use timbers to block RV's up so they didn''t drag in the back.
We loved Chicken also! When we first pulled into Chicken there was a moose standing in the parking in front of the Saloon! We had the same border guard!
There is no doubt the view is breath taking. You have had a blast in Alaska now the long drive back to I take it Florida. I hate the kilometres myself I always use miles the same as you guys. That ferry looks sketchy to me🥴. Enjoy your travels guys, take care!!👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
I love watching y'all. It has been 2 or 3 years watching y'all's videos. I travel for work in my camper but not a lot of sight seeing tho..y'all keep enjoying your life doing it
We really enjoyed your Alaska journey ! We found you kids through Joseph & Kalyn, Open Roading. Your videos & theirs complimented each other quite well. We’ve been to Alaska once, you all helped us make a list of places to visit on our next trip !
If you guys like ferry rides? You gotta go to Newfoundland, we took our fifth wheel, a little pricey for the 7 hour crossing but it’s an awesome trip, make sure to see western brook pond. Fjords are amazing.
A month ago, we were at that ferry on foot from Dawson City. We watched a fully loaded huge semi with mining equipment cross. The provincial campground on the side of the river you started from is wonderful with a paddlewheel boat grave yard at the far end.
What an awesome trip! Thank you for putting together all the great videos! Congrats on 50k too, you've got to be feeling like "official" official TH-camrs...lol
That is the road we took when we left Alaska on Aug 2. spent the night just outside of chicken and continued pretty far down past Dawson City. had some forest fires right along side the roads!
Hey you two! Hoping you are both safe on dry land as I know I thought you mentioned travel in the Carolina's. Be safe! Safe travels to all that are fulltime RVer's traveling!
We took our pickup and camper over the top of the world hwy, it was so beautiful! We went over at the end of august and the foliage was a brilliant red.
So.... when you had your old Thor rv is when we started following you (remember when the back wall started falling off?😮) We were so impressed with you, Craig, about how capable you are at fixing things! Fast forward to now, we just got our Brinkley and now we're considering the Gen Y. It just adds alot of weight (we have 3/4 ton diesel, not a 1 ton). Great video!!
Really enjoyed all of your adventures in Alaska! Especially appreciate your display of faith with the bible verse at the end. God Bless and safe travels!
Hi, just wanted to let you that we have a brinkley fifth wheel . We take the jack plates off , just putting pin . Because we were always worried about them too. Safe travels .Jackie and Rahn
Thank you so much for sharing! That did look like a great ride and the views looked spectacular as always. Definitely one of the better roads in Alaska. ha-ha... We know what you mean about eating in, eating healthy, but splurging on a delicious pizza! Safe travels to you both!
Top of the world was the HIGHLIGHT DRIVE for the Whole trip to Alaska. Important to know is they CLOSE The the road MID SEPT TILL SOMETIME IN APRIL. The few miles of new asphalt before the Alaska Yukon border is just a tease. CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h ps, the ferry is only a few minutes and hardly have a wait time and ITS FREE
Thank you both for sharing all your travel experiences.. I have to admit we started watching you because you bought the BRINKLEY which we had been studying hard for as our next purchase. Which helped us even more want one over other brands - like several other YT posters have graciously done. BUT you guys are so fun to watch and get many travel ideas from. THANK YOU ! For a once in a lifetime peek into a super exciting trip to Alaska that we plan to make in our BRINKLEY 3100 z that has been ordered with our two fur babies
The last time I went on the top of the world highway was 1993. There was no pavement and lots of ruts. And the ferry/barge could only fit two vehicles or one RV on it That one was pretty big. I love Dawson city
Im sad this adventure is coming to an end, you guys have done a fantastic job documenting your adventures and the quality of your videos has been an inspiration. The drone work, the interior shots while driving, different angles and perspectives… Just a great job! As a fellow editor Im impressed! I truly understand the work and logistics that you are putting into your videos . Craig, I know it’s a long drive back to the states but remember….its the journey not the destination! Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much!! Really appreciate compliments like these from someone who understand the work. and very true!! The journey is the most important part!
I'm kinda sad that y'all are leaving Alaska before Winter sets in. Nothing makes for a more pristine sight than a fresh blanket of snow! Of course if y'all hadn't left, Craig was probably going to lose his feet to frostbite! Does that man even own a pair of socks, much less a pair of warm Winter boots? BTW, its a small world. You mention Hickory Hills Plant Nursery in Forest Hills, Louisiana. If you ever travel there by way of Interstate 49 from the East on LA 112, there must be 40 plant nurseries along that ten mile stretch of highway. I pass by the Massey's place on my way to camp on Kincaid Reservoir just Northwest of there. You should try it some day!
Perfect timing the Discovery Channel TV Show Gold Rush is about to start airing season 15 & it is based in the Klondike . Top of the World Highway & Dawson City both make appearances .
hi I really enjoyed your videos I'm staying in a 40 foot Chaparral in Houston bc at my work place somer and winter and live south of burns lake on a ranch . so if it happens you coming thru Houston bc on your way back maybe we can meet let me know
Can I ask a favor? Would you do a breakdown telling us the dates you were where so those of us planning can look at your weather and gauge our plan? Anything you can give us in terms of costs, dates, times, etc. would be SO appreciated!
We will be doing a kind of overview video of our Alaska trip, but all of our videos in the Alaska series have the date recorded in the description if there are any specific activities or videos you’re wondering about.
I’ve loved your Alaska trip this summer. As I type this, I’m in Alaska at North Pole. We just booked our Talkeetna Air flight seeing trip with the glacier landing. Thanks so much for recommending it. Safe travels.
You did it the right way by going to Dawson City on the way home from Alaska. A lot less traffic trying to use the ferry. Got behind a caravan tour going from Dawson to Chicken . I had a 4 hr and 20 minute wait to cross the river.
Oh gosh!! It did look a lot busier going that direction, glad we did it this way too, wish we could say it was on purpose, but it worked out in our favor lol
@wildrvlife without a doubt was that place a tidal river? I know the Jamestown Ferry is on a tidal river. I should have checked the tide. I did not luckily my stabilizers are high. 5th wheels are low. It really amazes me how low they are in relation to the terrian. Id be so worried.
We have a very important question for y’all. Please help us. We own a Brinkley Z3100 like yours. Have you had ANY weird orders in your rv like chemical smells? We noticed you have the same plants in you rv that we do that gets rid of formaldehyde orders, etc. We have watched your TH-cam channel from the beginning & LOVE IT & YOU TWO!❤❤❤❤❤ Keep up the good work! Thanks, BJ
We haven't noticed anything like that. When we first got it, it had a kind of new construction/fresh paint smell, but that is unfortunately long gone over a year later and with our two dogs LOL. But don't remember ever having any kind of chemical type smells. Maybe running the exhaust fans for a while with just the front door open would pull some fresh air through! and thank you so much for joining us on our journey!!
THANK YOU so much for the reply, so It seems isolated issues but we still love our Brinkley, looking forward to seeing more of y’all adventures. Stay safe 💕
I think the top of the world highway would be less enjoyable in heavy rain. I think the slippery surface would feel treacherous riding along that ridge.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to explore Dawson City, we really did only eat pizza and walk around for a short time and then had to go back to the RV to work and left very early the next morning. Sorry our schedule didn't work out for you this time, maybe we'll get to go back one day and explore it more!
I know, we really didn't get to do Dawson City justice, we only were there one night and had to get some work done, but it would have been a fun time I'm sure!
i meet a couple in Dawson who had just come over the Top of the World hwy in 2015. they said the road was so rough they planned on selling their Class A as soon as they got home to Washington because it was so rough.
Oh man! I’m sure it does change year to year with the weather, so who knows what it could be like next year (I also do think the paved section was done within the last few years because it was extra nice)
It turns pretty sharp. I had a slider hitch before this one, and the slider hitch could turn a little sharper. However, having access to the bed of my truck makes this much more worth it to me.
Your discount code will save me $277 on our new Gen-Y pin box if I get a call back from Gen-Y or Brinkley to confirm we need to order model GH-8056AL (Rhino Box) for our new 2025 Brinkley Z2900 that we pick up on Oct 21st. Yeah. Waiting is the hard part!
You guys should have twice the Subscribers! Great Vid’s and your Dork Husband is hysterical and handy!
Thank you so much! We are happy you enjoyed the video!
lol love Craig (and Victoria)
I've really enjoyed your Alaska adventure videos. Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching! We are happy to hear you enjoyed the videos.
Me too 😊
Getting so good at the border crossings now you’re asking the questions 😂😂
Loved seeing your Alaska adventure! Can't wait to see what comes next.
Thank you so much for coming along, and we can't wait to share our next adventure!
Congrats on 50K! 🎉
Thank you so much!
Your Alaska adventures were amazing, thanks so much for taking us along! I was on an Alaskan cruise a few years ago but your videos make me want to drive there as well. Safe travels to you and God bless.
We really enjoyed all the adventure in Alaska and am glad you did too. Thank you for watching!
Prayers for your families safety in Florida. From one Floridian to another. 🙏🏻
Thank you so much!
Wow! The road was not smooth when we drove in July. It was mess. That border agent took our firewood, and we saw that they had a big fire that night at the station. We still laugh at that. (We boondocked at the pulloff just after the crossing.)
Glad you had a safe trip
Geez! Sounds like we got lucky! It was a great experience for us
Glad you Kidz did the top of the world hwy, we camped and witnessed the northern lights it was epic, silent and would recommend an overnight or two. Congrats nice to see your channel growing 😊
Thank you so much for following along!
I don't think your old RV would have made it to Alaska and back. You picked one of the best made RV's, Brinkley!
In the north the dempster and top of the world highways they put the road on top of of mountains because in the winter the valleys are usually 10 to 30 degrees coulder
Oh, interesting. I did not know that!
I love Sundays!
Thank you! We do, too, lol!
After church I look forward to your new adventures 😊
We been across the Ferry in a 35 ft five wheel and our new 38ft tag long and our long wheel base Ram. So i know how you felt loading on the Ferry. There is no doubt the view is breath taking and a better road then Destruction bay for sure. Have fun and enjoy the rest of the trip. Be safe
We drove this a few years ago. Our biggest highlight was seeing the 49 mile herd of caribou. Awesome!
Oh wow! that sounds awesome!
Love your yellow flowers crochet top...😊 With love from Toronto, Canada
Thank you! 😊
We had the same border guard!
oh how cool! the border crossing was super smooth, they seemed like nice folks there!
There is no doubt the view is breath taking. You have had a blast in Alaska now the long drive back to I take it Florida. I hate the kilometres myself I always use miles the same as you guys. That ferry looks sketchy to me🥴. Enjoy your travels guys, take care!!👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
soooo many miles back to Florida lol, but we definitely got plenty of good views while we were up here!
Wow, that boat did look small for your 5th wheel. Love the video. Keep smiling. Your videos are so uplifting.
Thanks so much! 😊
Thank you for sharing beautiful Alaska with us. I miss it so much ❤
thank you so much for coming along!
I love watching y'all. It has been 2 or 3 years watching y'all's videos. I travel for work in my camper but not a lot of sight seeing tho..y'all keep enjoying your life doing it
Oh my goodness how awesome!!! thank you for joining in on our adventures, we are so grateful that we get to share them with you guys
Hey man. You guys reached 50K, congratulations. I started watching when you had least than 1K. Good for you guys.
That's awesome! I'm glad you stuck around.

Thank you so much!
puppy cute trying to keep his eyes open
he's always tired but doesn't want to miss anything lol
When we drove it, it was a dirt road like a Forest Service Rd.
Dawson Creek Canada is a really cool little town. Thank you for taking us along ❤ Oh gosh! Next week's video looks spooky. Safe travels 🙏
We would have liked to spend a couple of days there, a really neat town for sure! thanks for watching 😄
So glad to see your video!!!
Hope you enjoy it!
You both have given us quite an adventure in Alaska, even Lealand and Maverick took it like champs, the best I’ve seen so far!! Just Beautiful ☺️💛💛
Good video! Love how you included a Bible scripture at the end credits!❤
Thank you!! 😊
Another wonderful episode, thanks for taking us along with you. Safe Travels to the east coast.- Wander On- Kyle and Michelle
Thank you guys!

That is the road we took when we left Alaska on Aug 2. spent the night just outside of chicken and continued pretty far down past Dawson City. had some forest fires right along side the roads!
That pizza looked so good.... The views loook good too... Love supporting our local garden centers... That is one of my favorite Bible verses!
good pizza and good views, what more could you want! 😄 and it's one of ours too!
Looking forward to the next one!

Well that's a wrap! Loved following you on your Alaska adventure. Totally empathized with the ferry crossing angst! Had it too!
Thanks so much for coming along on our Alaska adventures!
Good drive for RV driving. See you next week in the US. Love you, guys. Safe travels and take care.
I look forward to Sundays and what I enjoy most is you both are so real and so funny and enjoyable. Your videos are of great quality
what an awesome compliment, thank you so much!!
Yay 50,000 subscribers!!!! I love that you put my favorite bible verse on the screen. Thanks for all your great videos.
thank you so much!! It's been a journey!
Hi, just wanted to let you that we have a brinkley fifth wheel . We take the jack plates off , just putting pin . Because we were always worried about them too. Safe travels .Jackie and Rahn
ah yeah that would be a good option too!
I caught Craig being unfiltered big sneeze and wipe the boogers on the sleeve😂❤
He was probably saving them for later, lol!
I just love your little Maverick looking at the two of you.
Thank you so much for sharing! That did look like a great ride and the views looked spectacular as always. Definitely one of the better roads in Alaska. ha-ha... We know what you mean about eating in, eating healthy, but splurging on a delicious pizza! Safe travels to you both!
lol I surely didn't expect it to be in such good condition after all the other roads we drove! I'm sure it changes year to year but we got lucky!

Thank youuuu 😁
Lost my original account 😭 had to find you guys first.
Production on the whole Alaska arc was sooo great. 👏
Congrats on 50k!! 🎉🥳
Great travels. You both are inspiring me to do more travel during my winter and spring break.
Thank you love watching your adventures, can't wait for the next one
so glad you like them, thank you for coming along!

I have noticed that sometimes the Gravel rds are better than the paved roads. Maybe they are easier to maintain
I thought for sure when you were going back into town for supper you going to the Sourdough Saloon for a sour toe cocktail
Perfect timing the Discovery Channel TV Show Gold Rush is about to start airing season 15 & it is based in the Klondike . Top of the World Highway & Dawson City both make appearances .
I am glad the road was good for you and the views were great. I bet they were even better in person. Was the pizza really really good? 😋
hi I really enjoyed your videos I'm staying in a 40 foot Chaparral in Houston bc at my work place somer and winter

I’ve loved your Alaska trip this summer. As I type this, I’m in Alaska at North Pole. We just booked our Talkeetna Air flight seeing trip with the glacier landing. Thanks so much for recommending it. Safe travels.
Oh wow!! I bet it’s getting chilly up there now, enjoy the Denali flight, hope you get a beautiful clear day!
@@wildrvlife me too! It was 38 this morning. What a difference from FL! I’m loving it though.
Haha, saw the slowroamers van when you were driving through Dawson city.
Just got my GenY hitch last week put it on Friday. I did use your code. I’ve really enjoyed your Alaska adventure.
Awesome!! And thank you!
@@wildrvlife we watched your installation of the hitch, it was very helpful. It wasn’t that hard but it was a very tight fit on the Alliance 382RK.
Love watching the videos
Thank you so much!
The road conditions on the top of the world highway seemed really good!!
We were pleasantly surprised! of course, I'm sure it can change year to year and with the weather, but when we drove it, it was good!
Thanks for the video. It was excellent as usual.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the Philippians quote
Looks like an amazing drive! So jealous, we want to go to Alaska, but that is such a long drive from NC (as you know). 🐾🐾
it is a LONG drive 😅 it was an epic summer but have to admit, we don't plan on doing that drive again any time soon lol
Lol, Craig's hot-take on uHaul drivers but he doesn't realize the same can be said for RV drivers! 😂😂😂
Have really enjoyed your Alaska experience
Were in the fraser valley in BB, welcome to stop in!!
Bc
Just found this video on my homepage, liked and subbed! 🥰
Yay! Thank you! Welcome to our journey!!
If you come thru Atlanta ga you should visit the state farmers market right by Atlanta airport. It is huge over 3-4 hundred vendors.
Great trip, been watching you guys traveling with your friends! Looks like ya all split up on the way back.
we ended up taking slightly different paths back, sad day to part ways, we had such an awesome summer together
Its does feel wired a ferry with a trailer. Weve done the Jamestown Ferry in Va. Quicker than driving
Was it stressful to do that one?
@wildrvlife without a doubt was that place a tidal river? I know the Jamestown Ferry is on a tidal river. I should have checked the tide. I did not luckily my stabilizers are high. 5th wheels are low. It really amazes me how low they are in relation to the terrian. Id be so worried.
We have a very important question for y’all. Please help us. We own a
Brinkley Z3100 like yours. Have you had ANY weird orders in your rv like chemical smells?
We noticed you have the same plants in you rv that we do that gets rid of formaldehyde orders, etc.
We have watched your TH-cam channel from the beginning & LOVE IT & YOU TWO!❤❤❤❤❤
Keep up the good work!
Thanks, BJ
We haven't noticed anything like that. When we first got it, it had a kind of new construction/fresh paint smell, but that is unfortunately long gone over a year later and with our two dogs LOL. Great video!
Thank you so much for watching!
Loved Alaska❤
it was a great trip!
I think the top of the world highway would be less enjoyable in heavy rain. I think the slippery surface would feel treacherous riding along that ridge.
Thought I saw you at the Tim Hortons in Rocky Mountain House the other day but it must have been a rig just like yours.
I think we've got a few twins out there!
Enjoy your videos however o was disappointed in your description and visit of Dawson City. It is a cute town but also a national historical site.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to explore Dawson City, we really did only eat pizza and walk around for a short time and then had to go back to the RV to work and left very early the next morning. Sorry our schedule didn't work out for you this time, maybe we'll get to go back one day and explore it more!
Craig, diet again?😮 That was a nice drive you guys had. 😊
Can’t believe you didn’t go to Diamond Tooth Gertie’s!
I know, we really didn't get to do Dawson City justice, we only were there one night and had to get some work done, but it would have been a fun time I'm sure!
37th … nope. Being on top of the world is a great thang … that means you’re above the chaos 👊🏻💪🏻👍🏻💁🏻♂️
Definitely!! Thanks for coming along!
i meet a couple in Dawson who had just come over the Top of the World hwy in 2015. they said the road was so rough they planned on selling their Class A as soon as they got home to Washington because it was so rough.

You should have got a sourtoe cocktail in Dawson city
Is your turning angle better with that hitch? A lot of people with a Ram have slider hitches.
Yeah. Waiting is the hard part!
yay!! and I totally feel you on waiting being the hard part. When we get excited about something, we just want to do it right then!
Oh, never talk about how you haven't had any issues:)
lolol right?! we should have known better for sure. 🤣
