He’s a super-domestique, he has helped both of them win numerous grand stages, he’s been apart of every single one I believe. This is his 3rd grand tour this year btw, most cyclists will do 1 or 2, he did the Giro, TdF, and now Vuelta. Working for him on this one would just be a massive thank you.

Yeah, I dream of an attack in the final descent of the Giro di Lombardia, if he ever will take part in it...since he hasn't got the explosiveness of Pogi, that's the only way for Vingo to beat the Slovenian down there

That Jonas "attack" on Sepp was a preplanned scenario to end up with a TJV 1, 2, 3 on GC. I still think that Jonas and Roglic will work for GC Kuss as long as he remains in form.
Having them 1,2,3 is a nightmare come to life for any other GC contender. They all have to be followed and anyone hoping to attack now just gets the yellow and black washing machine.

Good day for team Jumbo Visma, congratulations UAE team need to ride their own tempo and don't give more time away Just do your best Happy that JV did show Remco how it is done.....sorry Remco didn't feel well 😮
Jumbo have this wrapped up, which means they’ll do all they can to for kuss to win. The chances are today marks the greatest day for the greatest GC team, beating the old sky team.
Vingegaard is clearly 75% of what he was at the Tour de France, and that was enough to win the stage with a small gap; if the other two Jumbo had been free to move they would have certainly closed that gap; we can fairly say that the show will come from the fight among the three teammates...
@@РуменДоспатлиев 75% is ofcourse an non-sensible figure. Let's say he's at +/-95% currently. With the TdF form he probably would've taken over 2 minutes today.
What a performance by Almeida! You should have given him more emphasis for his brilliant 15th place. Being ill and making this recovery, imagine if he was well. What a fighter, never giving up.
I have to think this wasn't JV "Attacking" Sepp.... More like calculated move sending JV up the road. Kiss wasn't bothered at all and when it was time, blew everyone's doors off. Now they're 1,2,3.
Pretty sure Jonas could win this GT if he wanted to, but I'm starting to believe they'll let Kuss take it for all his efforts and just secure a full TJV podium. Would be so well deserved for Kuss.
No one is letting Kuss win, especially not Jonas. Did you see him yesterday? Got one minute while the rest were watching each other and almost died at the finish line. Then some other guys took half a minute back in no time.
what a worthless, idiotic headline. NO HE DID NOT attack his teammate. Jonas wanted to leap frog a few riders and get into the top three so he did. Sepp didn't need to burn any extra watts to keep his place so he basically rode Kuss tempo. Jonas did not attack Sepp. Truly, all three put the hurt on everyone else and cemented themselves as the best in the race.
Alot of debate about Jonas or Primoz "letting" Kuss win. I think the team management has something to say in the matter. Three GTs with 3 riders from 3 regions looks better and will interest sponsors who are global and not regional (ie more money)
Unbelievable riding by Kuss. His attack on the Tourmalet was as if he was on a motorbike. How do you accelerate like that, brake check because of a spectator, then relaunch? Having been involved in cycling for 30 years now, I feel like I’ve seen this before.
🙄Honestly.. clueless.. this is Vingegaard working FOR Kuss… just like it was Kuss working for Roglic and Vingegaard when Kuss went into the break and gained so much time and lead! The idea is to put your opponents into a catch 22 (anything they do is a loser) force you opponents to work or lose.. once they work your teammates behind are advantaged in the counter attack because you forced them to work… BASIC cycling tactics 🤪 Was Kuss 😮attacking Vingegaard by going into the break… NO… he was advantaging his team! This is a TEAM SPORT where the goal is to get your riders across line in as high position as is possible and now Jumbo has top three positions in GC… MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! …please learn basic tactics 🙄
I don't think Vingo went full gas, simply because Roglic obviously played it very defensively and it is hard to imagine that he would do that without assurances that Vingegaard is not going to distance him in the GC. Not saying Roglic was necessarily as strong as Vingegaard (that stage was just perfect for Vingegaard), but he obviously stayed down for tactical reasons
@@jweitzenheimer Indeed. Vingegaard went all out no doubt. This ain't perfect Vingegaard with the perfect build up to the TdF. After the TdF he had over a week of celebrations. Some more down time and picking up the bike again. No altitude camp. So it's impossible to be as good as in the TdF, but he's still very good :)
Let's be real...The Vuelta is the red-headed step child of the Grand Tours (pun intended). Both Roglic and Jonas have multiple GT wins in the bag...thanks in large part to Mr. Kuss. Imho, Jumbo should defintely support Sepp for the win. He already has a significant lead and should easily win the Vuelta if his team decides to back him all the way to Madrid.
Well, in my mind Vingegaard did not attack Kuss, but all the others. You have to think, Vingegaard was just seconds ahead of Ayuso and two minutes behind Soler before the stage. So they send him out, saving 1-3 in the GC, giving him the stage win for his daughters birthday (Kuss had already his stage) and also let everybody else do the work. Vingegaard also did not intend to get red, he always looked around how big the gap to Kuss is, also giving him the chance to attack and bridge the gap to go to the final together. It was just a perfect and superb day of Jumbo, similar to last years attack on Pogacar with Roglic and Vingegaard and this years attack against Pogacar where he lost 5 minutes. Jumbo is revolutionizing the sport as a real team sport. Outstanding performances by the way of Gesink and Kelderman as well giving their leaders the opportunity not to do any leading work until 7 km before the finish, before Vingegaard attacked immediately. My prediction at the end: Kuss 1, Vingegaard 2, Roglic 3, maybe one of Kuss or Vingegaard even get the mountains jersey. Maybe even Kelderman and Valter make it to the Top 20. Finally, I don't think they have to give it to Kuss, he seems actually together with Vingegaard the strongest of all. If they would battle it out, I think he would take it. He is so strong and a real 3 weeks rider. And there is probably nobody who has earned himself this win so much than him.
Kuss goes to GC, Vingegaard takes the stage, Roglic takes some stages.. Jumbo wins wins.. Good (and expected) for Marc Soler and Juan Ayuso.. The only thing I can't understand is; how did Evenepoel get into this situation?
He did not attack Sepp Kuss, he attacked the podium Jumbo and Kuss was in control. If Vingegaard didnt attacked, Sepp Kuss couldnt take the second place on the stage.
It's the standard unit of distance used by the entire world except your country. But keep measuring stuff in elbowlengths or big mommas buttwidths if it's too complicated for you.
not sure if i'm living or just cheering for GC Kuss. He is delivering what we espected from Landa few (probably more than few) years back, where he was a marvelous domestique, but when it was his time to lead the team, never managed to bring the results.
Slightly misleading title, Jonas did not attack Sepp, he attacked the overall classification. Clearly the tactics today for Jumbo, was moving their boys up in the GC and with Jonas the furthest behind - he was allowed to do the main attacking. Surely on the team radio, the time advantage was kept under control and they were never going to let Jonas take the jersey. Unless Sepp has a bad day, they are riding for him to win and only change could perhaps be between Jonas and Primoz.
Et tu, Jonas?🤣🤣🤣 I think this is what Movistar management has always dreamed of but could never really execute. Jumbo has the hot talent, the cold-blooded tactics, and the cool-headed chemistry to sweep the podium.
Yes and this is good for Kuss, if he is the one to ride out the red. Having the 3 close on time means all 3 have to be marked and UAE/Moviestar/etc have to do the work.
Almeida was with a cold and had a very bad night where he badly slept he was confident before he felt sick that's why he dropped so early even tough he did a very good job being 85km+ basically lonely
Misleading title. It was a team agreement to let Jonas go for the win since he was feeling good and wanted to devote the win to his daughter for her birthday. Even Sepp Kuss is happy for Jonas. Sorry but that IS a negative title.
Unless Sepp Kus does a 'Remco' and totally cracks somewhere, I hope the other two guys turn into his 'super' domestiques' and help him to win. He's certainly done enough for them over the last few years.
Aw, did the big boys not let your blue eyed angel win today? Poor thing. Tell you what, head over to the Jumbo supermarket, they have a discount on tissues today. Ideal to dry those salty tears.
A Team J-V masterclass. Chapeau to teamwork and three brilliant performances. Marc Soler could have made his mark here, but he had no support. UAE are not the same team without Pogačar. Why was there no team work between him and Ayuso? Enric Mas not quite up to the big challenge, again. Will his time come? Geraint Thomas can't compete at this level anymore, which is a pity. Jumbo-Visma have such a strong team and now with 3 riders competing for the win and all on the podium in Madrid. How are the other teams going to break them up? Maybe cause a deliberate crash, as the UAE rider looked like he was trying to do on the previous stage when he pulled right to left and cut a swathe through the peloton with TJV riders in there. Fortunately, Roglič stayed up and the others picked there way through

@@johnjohnUnited I get it but a headline of 'Full gas racing at Tourmalet' for example doesn't make it stand out enough from other race recap episodes of say eurosport, gcn, etc. He knows a headline like the one he went with will provide engagement because fans will feel obligated to respond to it - just look at you and I, creating a nice engagement with these comments ;)
Remco after TdF: I can hit Pogi and Jonas' numbers
Remco during Vuelta: loses 27 minutes on queen stage. 😭😭💀
Good day for team Jumbo Visma, congratulations
UAE team need to ride their own tempo and don't give more time away Just do your best Happy that JV did show Remco how it is done.....sorry Remco didn't feel well 😮
He said he can hit those numbers, but not during a GT. Which is correct
All mouth remco . Good for 1 day but GT no at present . Far too fat
SEPPTEMBER CANT BE STOPPED LET THE KUSS KUSS RAIN BABY RAHHHHH🦅🦅🦅🦅
that double attack from Kuss... ridiculous. how can you believe that
Jumbo have this wrapped up, which means they’ll do all they can to for kuss to win.
The chances are today marks the greatest day for the greatest GC team, beating the old sky team.
GC Kuss - we all wanna see it!
Vingegaard is clearly 75% of what he was at the Tour de France, and that was enough to win the stage with a small gap; if the other two Jumbo had been free to move they would have certainly closed that gap; we can fairly say that the show will come from the fight among the three teammates...
He is clearly much higher than 75%. He said that he is starting to feel better day by day. Expect an Angliru record if they let him attack.
3rd week is always his best week...@@РуменДоспатлиев
@@РуменДоспатлиев 75% is ofcourse an non-sensible figure. Let's say he's at +/-95% currently. With the TdF form he probably would've taken over 2 minutes today.
@@draregrevtaam1147he waz not at full gas

was hilarious seeing roglic teleport to kuss at the end after being like 20 seconds back
What a performance by Almeida!
Vamos Vinegar!!!
Jumbo visma exposed Remco on this tour
Is he sick or just tired ?
@@steeveolivier2847 tired

@@peterneumann7145 no way he is 60kg and fat. He is just not as strong as the others when there is a real hard Mountain stage
4:05this makes sense now 😂😂😂
Pretty sure Jonas could win this GT if he wanted to, but I'm starting to believe they'll let Kuss take it for all his efforts and just secure a full TJV podium. Would be so well deserved for Kuss.
I've said that for more than a week. Jonas and Primoz are there as super domestiques for Kuss, to say "Thank you for the Giro and the Tour"
And in the case Kuss really starts to struggle which doesn't seems like it, they are there.@@darkiee69
No one is letting Kuss win, especially not Jonas. Did you see him yesterday? Got one minute while the rest were watching each other and almost died at the finish line. Then some other guys took half a minute back in no time.
Watching the stage I felt like crying. Poor Remco 💔
Almeida was ILL 🤒 that’s why he was terrible
But he somehow only lost 6/7 min whilst riding ALONE in the Spandelees and Tourmalet
what a worthless, idiotic headline. NO HE DID NOT attack his teammate. Jonas wanted to leap frog a few riders and get into the top three so he did. Sepp didn't need to burn any extra watts to keep his place so he basically rode Kuss tempo. Jonas did not attack Sepp. Truly, all three put the hurt on everyone else and cemented themselves as the best in the race.
easy W for Sepp, nice that Jonas could take a win for his daughters birthday, but from now on, it must be all for Kuss (if nothing happens to him)
Alot of debate about Jonas or Primoz "letting" Kuss win. I think the team management has something to say in the matter. Three GTs with 3 riders from 3 regions looks better and will interest sponsors who are global and not regional (ie more money)
Well, the stage ended in France. Of course, Vingegaard was the winner. That's his jam!
The idea is to put your opponents into a catch 22 (anything they do is a loser) force you opponents to work or lose.. once they work your teammates behind are advantaged in the counter attack because you forced them to work… BASIC cycling tactics 🤪
Was Kuss 😮attacking Vingegaard by going into the break… NO… he was advantaging his team! This is a TEAM SPORT where the goal is to get your riders across line in as high position as is possible and now Jumbo has top three positions in GC… MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! …please learn basic tactics 🙄
Well said
nice comment
I don't think Vingo went full gas, simply because Roglic obviously played it very defensively and it is hard to imagine that he would do that without assurances that Vingegaard is not going to distance him in the GC.
Not saying Roglic was necessarily as strong as Vingegaard (that stage was just perfect for Vingegaard), but he obviously stayed down for tactical reasons
Jonas was barely alive at the top
@@jweitzenheimer Indeed. Vingegaard went all out no doubt. This ain't perfect Vingegaard with the perfect build up to the TdF. After the TdF he had over a week of celebrations. Some more down time and picking up the bike again. No altitude camp. So it's impossible to be as good as in the TdF, but he's still very good :)
@@draregrevtaam1147
The attack was impressive
Oh he definitely did. Jonas isnt at his tdf shape.
@@jweitzenheimer This. He even said during his warmdown that he felt like his lungs exploded. He put down the hammer.
Suspect beaviour the whole stage by Kuss. Electrified + over dopped dude riding = Sepp Kuss on this stage . Too good to be true .
Imagine the team manager: So guys, who wants to win gc?
Let's play rock paper scissors
But before that make sure you take your drugs 😂
I do believe Kuss deserves to win this Vuelta, if this is a gift then it would definitely be a difficult one to get.
It better be for Sepp now and give him the opportunity for the win!
UAE are going to start having nightmares about going up french mountains surrounded by Jumbo-Visma ridders.
Jonas is the king-what a great performance. And best of all , He set Remco Evenepoel back for nearly 30 minunutes.....impressive
Good stuff!
He did not attack Sepp Kuss, he attacked the podium Jumbo and Kuss was in control. If Vingegaard didnt attacked, Sepp Kuss couldnt take the second place on the stage.
This guy is so precise in his race recaps! Well done!
lol
Great work mate 👍 ✌️

I really enjoyed your commentary. Thank you.
i love how jonas said in the interwiew that it was his daughters birthday and he won for her
Great description and video.
It's impossible ...look the attack of kuss..thank you for the mechanic doping 😅
TJV demolition squad
This is like Gewiss ballan gone stratonuclear
What da Fuck is a Kilometer, let’s go GC Kuss!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅🦅
In 'murican it's 20 Olympic swimmingpools or about 10 football fields.
It's the standard unit of distance used by the entire world except your country. But keep measuring stuff in elbowlengths or big mommas buttwidths if it's too complicated for you.
Remco: 'I did not know that today is a mountain stage. I was surprised'.
good one
Great for Sepp Kuss and murican bicycling also!
Unfortunately, American bicycling is nothing but crit races and gravel races. It's sad, really.
Anyone who thinks Visma guys aren't cheating in some way that is yet undiscovered is naive at best.
not sure if i'm living or just cheering for GC Kuss. He is delivering what we espected from Landa few (probably more than few) years back, where he was a marvelous domestique, but when it was his time to lead the team, never managed to bring the results.
The race would be way more exciting if Vingegaard, Roglic and Kuss were on separate teams competing against one another.
Jonas didn't attack Sepp. He attacked the rest of the field. He got himself into 3rd place with a bit of time on everybody else.
I want to see TJV savagely attack each other for the last week. No holds barred.
me too, let the best man win, like three brothers fighting but ofc in a playfully manner:)
I want GC Kuss to succeed soooo bad
Slightly misleading title, Jonas did not attack Sepp, he attacked the overall classification.
Clearly the tactics today for Jumbo, was moving their boys up in the GC and with Jonas the furthest behind - he was allowed to do the main attacking.
Surely on the team radio, the time advantage was kept under control and they were never going to let Jonas take the jersey.
Unless Sepp has a bad day, they are riding for him to win and only change could perhaps be between Jonas and Primoz.
Et tu, Jonas?🤣🤣🤣
I think this is what Movistar management has always dreamed of but could never really execute. Jumbo has the hot talent, the cold-blooded tactics, and the cool-headed chemistry to sweep the podium.
From a couple of months back: "Jonas is so boring"
Vingegaard needed to get closer to Kuss in GC. Roglic did not do anything today as Soler and Remco were goners. Lets hope Kuss' legs do not blow up.
Yes and this is good for Kuss, if he is the one to ride out the red. Having the 3 close on time means all 3 have to be marked and UAE/Moviestar/etc have to do the work.
Primoz coming out the corner lol wtf 💀
Primoz: yoooo! just got back sweeping the back lines lmao
Roglic will win tomorrow's stage.
King stages are always a pleasure to watch
Finally someone really making America great again instead of shitting on it like you know who. Go Kuss!
I want Sepp to win, but it's a bummer to see Remco drop out of contention. Sucks all the drama out of this tour.
Unless Sepp Kus does a 'Remco' and totally cracks somewhere, I hope the other two guys turn into his 'super' domestiques' and help him to win. He's certainly done enough for them over the last few years.
After helping Primoz and Jonas, I think Sepp deserves his own grand tour
Remco SMOKES a cigarette with Jonas but after Jonas WAITED for 27 minutes
So interesting to see Kuss go all in for the whole climb not just the lead out effort domestique style
US postal, ‘09 Astana…., not even Sky have dared to disrespect a grand tour in the way those clowns did today. Disgraceful from TJV
