So neat that you're volunteering for a doggie hotel! Great experience! I hope you can do a video or two showing each of the dogs and telling us about their unique personalities (once you know them better) and any other information about them. Also a "Day in the life" so we can literally come along with you through waking, eating, and every aspect of your day with the dogs! What fun!

Do you get to choose what food they provide or do you just have to take what they give you? Is it difficult being vegetarian or vegan on the road?

Hi!! You’re welcome ☺️ Yes ahah it is hard work. And no we don’t get to choose what we eat, but the owners of the dog hotel are vegetarian so we have everything to cook simple vegetarian meals in our little house.
Being vegetarian on the road can be thought sometimes but I manage it, vegan on the other side is hard on the road, for example finding vegan sandwiches on bakeries are difficult so I eat mostly vegetarian when we are on the road ☺️

I am from Slovenija-neighbouring conutry. You will need warmer clothes! We have clothe swaps here and you can just take whatever you need, you don't have to give anything back. I am so glad you get to spent time with dogs❤ have an amazing time!

Hi Louise, I would love to know how detailed you planned your trip before you left. Did you know that you were going to work at the dogs' hotel when you still were in France? Do you know the exact place you are going to when you are leaving in a month? Is your next longer stay already planned?
Hi, we just planned the countries that we wanted to go to, that’s all. We found and contact the host to work with dogs 3 days before coming, because you can find « last minute » hosts on Workaway, especially with hitchhiking we never really know when we will arrive in a spot. We reached already other volunteering places for December yes, I will talk about it in a next video ☺️

That Doberman is soooo pretty...OMG the color and his shinny coat.
I was very happy to a Doberman being free with other dogs, people are usually really afraid of them but these dogs needs socialization like every dog 🐶

Salut! J’ai voulu te dire que « We slept late » est le traduction mot par mot de « s’endormir tard » mais en anglais (aux états-unis, au moins) ça veut dire « faire un grasse matinée »! Normalement on dis « we went to sleep late » pour dire s’endormir tard. Tu te fais comprendre par le context mais j’ai voulu te dire parce que tu as dit que tu veux améliorer ton anglais!! Je suis impressionné de ton effort de créer des vidéos en anglais …ce n’est pas évident et tu débrouilles très bien!!

How many shifts a day do you work ? I hope you have some free time during the day too to hang out around the place you are.
It’s 30 hours per week, so 4 shifts per day. We still haven’t found the time to explore yet 😅
Would love to know how much you spend a day in your traveling.
