I've never pinned it down to a single note, but yes, there are times when she sings that it really reaches me deeply. I mean, she has an affect on me all through her songs, but there are certain times when it touches so deeply that it brings tears. My 68 year old sister and my 40 year old daughter tell me I do have a problem, because I sit and listen to her singing for the better part of most days. I suppose there could be worse addictions. LOL
My family would like to do an intervention, to save me. But, they are afraid it would backfire and they would become part of the Borg. If I tried to convince them that it would only change their lives for the better, given my age (76) they would probably feel justified in having me declared incompetent.

Whatever you want to call it she brings most of her fans to tears, A welling up of raw emotion stemming from somthing she is able to trigger in us. Pride, Joy. She can hit us in the feels, and we Love her for it.
After hearing the song 10+ times, I come here for the final analysis.

Angelina (just 14 here) is able to cover Adele like nobody else. She can take songs from one of the highest rated singers of the past couple decades, and somehow make improvements to them. She put in so much subtle detail, so much genuine emotion that they become something all her own. Many might think that her most covered artists are Amy or Billie Holiday, but in fact she has cover more Adele than any other artist she covers. I really hope Adele has seen this cover. I know she would be blown away by it.
As you say, a cover like no one else....and sorry for the other day with both your and my comments disappearing into the void. I will not pretend to know what and how, but the frustration is certainly real...

I know that this was just released a week ago, but we have to look at all the evidence... this is filmed on the same stage as million miles (and also the new live 7thHeaven). It is highly likely that all three of these performance (and hopefully even some others) were all filmed on the same day or maybe across a couple days of studio time.
Million Miles was released in November 2020 (before she turned 15 on January 10th 2021), so it stands to reason that she is still 14 in all three of these videos.
I do put a little thought into my statements about Angelina because I think having accurate information about her is important :)

@@johnbattles1002 I guess my thing is all about learning, especially learning how to listen to voice...There are some who are very good, like Wild Music in Australia, that make a first run with no stops, then a second run with commentary. But that is becoming next to impossible these days.

And though teasing us with melisma in the first verse, pulled the bow and fired that spectacular melisma in the second verse. @@CECIDOVER as you can tell this is coming a bit late, but you talk about the little things and how they make the difference. When she sings, 'take me by the hand' it is her use of the long E sound as in, ' take me by thee hand' it just sounds so much better than singing "thuh" . It is such a small thing, but sounds so much more musical. Thanks for helping me see the small things and the big difference they made.

I’ve watched your reactions to Angelina’s songs multiple times, and I enjoy your technical and emotional reactions because it’s obvious you love her singing as much as we do. What I missed today was an overall reaction to the artistry Angelina gives us in this song because it was stopped every few seconds for technical comments. I like your technical analysis, but I’d also like to see your reaction to the song as art-not just technical analysis. I know you’ll watch this song uninterrupted many times after this, as we all have, but we watch to see how people react to Angelina’s ability to move us with emotion and interpretation of lyrics. That wasn’t evident today. Consider watching her songs with only some required breaks the first time, and then going back to a replay to give us your amazing analysis and insight into what Angelina is doing technically.
But however you do it, keep reacting to Angelina. I look forward to your new reviews and have watched the older ones many times. It’s like watching Angelina for the first time all over again.
I would really miss Cecil's deep technical analyses if she stopped doing them. The full length uninterrupted listen can be done with the original track without taking up her time.

Ceci, your analysis really allows me to understand why I feel emotion when listening to Angelina. Today I did the most impulsive thing outside of moving to Mexico from the states after my husband died. I knew no one and spoke very little English. Today I bought a concert ticket to hear Angelina sing in Kurbadhagen on July 10. All I have to do is work to earn money for the trip. But going to Norway will be less expensive in the long run because in 10 years Angelina will be commanding $700 a ticket in Las Vegas and I will need to sell a kidney to afford that! You are the best vocal coach. Keep it coming.

Ceci, everyone, I mean EVERYONE has been waiting for your reaction to Angelina's All I Ask. And, we wanted you to do "your thing". We've all heard the song many times (I'm over 300 times already!) so your pauses to explain to us what Angelina is doing was expected and appreciated. Ceci, as soon as this video production was over I'm sure you couldn't wait to watch her performance in private. What can we say? The way you described what she is doing when she sings this song is like describing what a rocket scientist does, or what an astrologist does, or what Mozart did! It's so beautiful what is happening and Angelina is so beautiful.
We, her "Angels" must always let her know we will always be by her side and will never go away. Her love is in our hearts and it will stay there for as long as we live to enjoy her and her mission to spread her love around the world and help make the world a better place.
