looks like I was the first to like and comment! honestly, bootlegs are interesting, but make sure the host pc runs linux, bootlegs like this commonly have viruses and malware, so, be careful!
i run windows 7 on my real machine (dont ask why) and i ran this bootleg on vmware so its safe. Had this VM for a week now and antivirus didnt detect anything
@@Windowpedia11 I sure hope you have a decent antivirus, a lot of them dropped win7 support, I know linux isn't for everyone, but it's the safest host system to run bootleg windows distros, most windows malware spreads by SMB, and some systems are still exploitable by EternalBlue, which is the very exploit WannaCry used, windows 7 DID get a patch for that exploit if I recall, but linux is not vulnerable to this vector of attack usually, if you need to use windows 7, close the SMB port with a VERY good firewall, as well as the netbios ports, it should help stop any potential infection from bad bootlegs
@@Windowpedia11 thanks for the honesty, I tried giving info on keeping your host pc secure from vm malware since you run win7, but I guess mentioning a past severe exploit and explaining a mitigation method was "not acceptable for advertisers"
just noticed your memz video as well, you earned a sub, but, be careful with that stuff!
That is quite interesting!
