I've had that problem intermittently. What I did is pick the Trap up myself (only works when it breaks) then place it down again, moved a little. I make certain it's next to a Berry bush. Outside of that, I don't have the best answer. While the Devs did a pass on the AI around the Traps they certainly still have some issues.

Mine are taking from the traps, but not resetting/baiting them how do i fix it
