    You mentioned that one of the best drones to use would be the Mavic 2 pro. Would the newer Air 2S be as good or can you recommend any of the newer ones with enhanced sensor. ?

    • @FlybyGuys
      @FlybyGuys  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Eric. Unfortunately, there is no SDK for the A2S, so no SW provider can add this drone to their portfolio. The A2S would be great for this work. The 1” sensor makes it ideal for capturing the data.
      Thanks for the comment ✌🏻

    Hi. I know it's off topic, but looks like you have nice knowledge: some ppl say that Mavic 2 Zoom is better for some inspections, like for checking building pathologies and stuffs, but is half size of sensor. does the zoom is really needed, or you could just get closer on these inspections? What kind of scenarios the zoom will be needed?

    • @FlybyGuys
      @FlybyGuys  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Márcio. A zoom isn’t necessary, as the high resolution photos taken is enough.
      We calibrate the inspection area giving us the best possible distance to capture the data.
      I hope this helps.

      Hi Mike. Yes, kinda. But your never going to be far away from the drone doing this work. The worry is radio interference, but I’ve experienced this with the V2 as well. 50/50 I would say. Hope this helps ✌🏻

    Q: When doing a mass inspection and the client has a shot sheet that details camera angles using degrees, is there a way to put this in the DJI fly app camera settings?

    • @FlybyGuys
      @FlybyGuys  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello. Thanks for this interesting question.
      The answer is no.
      DJI do not offer this. You need to do this manually, which I do not recommend.
      Using specific SW like we use, gives you and the customer the optimal data set for the mast.
      When it comes to ‘what the customer wants’, the customer does not know what they want. And saving money is certainly not the key to offering this service. Hope that helps.

    • @Godchild1124
      @Godchild1124 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FlybyGuys Yes very helpful and thank you for your consultation!! Note I recently got hired as an independent contractor, I was given a shot sheet that had client request for drone photos with the camera positioned 40 and 60° angles at the antennas and the RAN to be 80% in frame. Now I started to assume that most of this is just eyeballing and not really coordinates to be placed into the Fly app and it sounds like my assumption is correct.

    drone won't fly away at all - GPS may drop out and then the wind pushes the drone in that direction - certainly not a fly away if theres no GPS

    • @FlybyGuys
      @FlybyGuys  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment. If a drone loses GPS, it will lose its positioning. Near interference, it will become erratic and have a fly away. When your next to hundreds of thousands of euros worth of equipment, you do not take risks. I’ve seen behaviour like this in many different scenarios. I actually have very good experience with GPS issues with missions. I’ve seen it all 😊

    I have climbed towers for 15 years and I can guarantee you that I can get to places your drone can NOT get to and my measurements would be so much more accurate than your computer generated ones. Ever in michigan, we can put this to a bet if you'd like....

    • @FlybyGuys
      @FlybyGuys  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment Bryan. We expect kickback from the manual tower workers, so your view is nothing new. When we take our data to the mobile operators, they see more they their men who climb. Why? Because we can see every angle. You will never be able to see very rusting mast part, missing cable or broken antenna, due to weather conditions time constraints or general human error. AI helps this. Our clients have learned, and gained more from our inspection data, and made more money due to equipment that should not be there. That’s something someone who climbed will not be aware of. Your attitude is normal, but we know how to help that. Hard data.
