6 month subscriptions for people that can’t fly in winter and that live in an area winter is 6 months long? I’m talking heavy snow and wind. Not mild winter. Between skydio scan 3D and Bentley context capture software I feel that’s the best combination for amazing results. The price reflects it. I don’t mind paying for the best but I can’t justify paying for subscription time I can’t use. Please help me out. I promise I will show it off to everyone I see and name drop both company’s as much as possible lol.
I'm Alaska and I know exactly how you feel. I just got my Skydios this winter and have not been able to use them yet. I think we're still a few more weeks out.
Drone OEM and 3rd Party developers that write mission specific tasks software, that just require the App or software through subscription to unlock a feature already capable, (not a hardware or drone upgrade), like Skydio Scan 3D or some other photogrammetry company, They would be better and more popular if the price was per usage case and not a year where someone can only use 3 seasons and not 4 or low volume vs high volume usage . I like pay per usage/job hour like I do for my drone insurance .
