When you drive a Polo, other cars feel lackluster but once you drive Figo diesel, Polo will feel lackluster in front of it. The feedback from Figos steering is even better and the rush of that diesel is superior to any engine Polo had

Mileage of earlier engines except diesel one was comparatively lower and also mileage goes lower for automatic. It also depends whether you are driving purely in city or on highway too. My rapid automatic gives 10-12 kmpl in pure city driving but that is again 1.0 l tsi. Keeping the revs low might help, rest a lot is circumstantial as shared above.
Check the vw service cost calculator, actually its even lesser for first year, this is applicable if u get works done only what vw recommends yearwise.
I own a rapid and never driven a polo. I found rapid to be stiff enough . Can’t imagine a more stiffer car . That will be even more pain on bad roads. Anyways, does polo feel as stable and heavy like rapid or polo kind of feels like hatch ?
@@shshashiekhar polo i feel is more sportier due to further stiff suspension and heavier steering and is amazingly stable. However rapid as a sedan has more high end stability i feel. Rapid even feels more planted while cornering. Sedans are the best cars and u feel that in Rapid. Polo however feels more heavy due to stiffer suspension.
I own a polo GT 1.5 litre diesel engine 2015 model. Completely loved it for first 4-5 years. But major problem you will have after a time are as below which even i am having and will cost you alot 1). Suspension failure. As car is not made for indian roads. 2). Fromt bumper assembly noise due to breakge of a clip which is plastic and it will break every year because of indian road condition. And then whole assemble needs to be changed. Other than these car needs no maintenance. Service cost is average. Driving pleasure is best in class. Safety is best in class. Mileage is also average. Its a driver’s car. If you are lookig for no headaches at all then dont go for this car.

Happy 2013 Polo Highline owner. Buy used one in 2020 for 3.4 lakh. Got milage 18-20 in decent driving, amazing fan base, superb performance.
