    GETSUM Will. This is a fantastic effect. I love the noise effect. Dude, if you wanna bring in MASSIVE views. Make a video about how to make OBS overlay videos elements with alpha channel. Trust me. Also cool subscribe button effects would also get you tons of traffic.

For OBS.. i know a little bit about it.. I have done a live stream (was not very good at it,..but wanted to try to understand how everything works).....what exactly are people looking for in a obs overlay? I am sure there are lots of different things that can be done.

    I love your videos, however I am surprised you didn't put a warning on this one in case people have photo sensory epilepsy. Thanks as always for sharing your knowledge. This comment is not meant as a critisism, just as I have friends who have disabilities, I have found myself thinking how everything affects different people in our societies.

    • @WilliamJusticeMedia
      @WilliamJusticeMedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ian...Really appreciate your comments... I don’t mind criticism at all… It is how you get better. I agree...Sounds like it would have been good to add a message about that at the beginning of this video.. Guess I tend to think more about the flashing/flickering, but patterns can be an issue as well. I had hoped that the thumbnail would give people an idea of what was in the video and they would not click if they did not want to see the patterns. If there are things that I can do better, don’t hesitate to let me know. I will definitely consider that and other possible things in future videos! Thanks so much!

    Excellent tutorial. Question - how to apply this technique to create the water ripple effect on a clip as shown in time 0:46 in the tutorial?
    Thanks.

    • @ericchen1205
      @ericchen1205 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, I figured it out. It's similar to a glass effect but using the taught FastNoise as mask instad of a rectangle or polygon shape usually used in glass effect.

    • @WilliamJusticeMedia
      @WilliamJusticeMedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Eric, For the ripple effect....I added a displace after the media node for the image. Then i put the animated circle mask into the displace node and adjusted the settings. It basically shifts the image based on the circle pattern.

    But how can you put that hymonotic animation beheind in the background of a scene?

    • @WilliamJusticeMedia
      @WilliamJusticeMedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can create the animation and add it as the background track on your timeline. then put other tracks above it. to see the animation there are quite a few different options. you could set the opacity or blending mode on the top track or use masking / keying to add transparent sections to the top clip so the bottom shows through.
