Seeing Max with that bass makes me wish to see a magical performance where Max triples down with guitar, banjo and bass, Shaye with piano and cornet, Robin with washboard and drums and who knows what else. These gals and guys are so talented.

Добрий день,я з України. Hello, I am from Ukraine. Thank you Tuba Skinny for your wonderful music. You and your music are incredible. During the bombings, in the bomb shelter, it helps to survive all the horror and soothes. I would like to buy your album, if any.
Although they have played this tune countless times, this performance had some extra kick to it. Max doing a great job slapping that bass. Greg's usual strong vocals and the band sounding strong and tight. I believe I've seen the banjo player before sitting in with the band at Pere Antoine alley awhile back.
@@cargotrailerkenny I liked the one with the little bell that he would hit at the end of a solo. But of course, everything he plays is cool and fits so well.
@@sandragriffiths9692 thank you for your response - just curious if you know whether erica has left the ensemble? and yes they are great!!! - excellent musicians
Erika appeared with the band in Bern Switzerland last month. April 12----16. She just released a country album on April 29. She didn't make it to FQF this year............................
The tuba player double-booked himself, so Max (regularly guitar/banjo) played the bass. Apparently there used to be a famous New Orleans guy named Tuba Fats th-cam.com/video/ySNLax9E1Jo/w-d-xo.html
Max slapping that bass reminds me how incredibly talented this entire group truly is.

Я просто влюблён в этот замечательный оркестр, в его чудесное звучание и аранжировки произведений. Спасибо !

Countless times??......but they didn't play it this time!!

They never fail to produce the goods.
Yet another great performance, thanks for posting
MES amis musiciens de coeur....
Awesome beat great sound.
Things always swing a little harder and easier with a good upright bass.
This was so fun, thank you!
Yes
Good song, as always, well played. No Todd so Max slapping bass, his third instrument. No idea who the banjo player is.
robin seems to be sporting a new configuration of cans and pans and symbol too. he must have quite the collection of washboards now.

wish i was there with my taps ;)
Yes! There were dancers -- couples, but the taps would have been cool. Maybe some day (e.g. next French Quarter Fest) TS gets around (the world!)
Love this group of excellent musicians - please, where is Erika??
They are great, with or without Erica😊

Thank you Paul Gibby. Please, what is the name of banjo player ?
Wish I knew. Somebody will know. Thanks!
I believe it's Ben Joe Playah.
Hello; how are you? Very good?
why does shaye have to cue everyone in ? espec like that.... very obvi
There's no tuba player, fat or skinny. They sound great!

Miss the TUBA.

@@royhiser9313 me too. I’m reminded of Gene Hackman in “Hoosiers:”. that’s your team out there.
"All by myself"???......not the one I know!
You're right. I can only decipher "peaches on the shelf" and "all by myself". Anybody know the song title?
@WG Fünf Vielen dank!
I prefer a string bass to the tuba. But a great band.
They need Erika.
