I have a 2023 SS 1LE and I love it. All of the "poor visibility" comments are blown way out of proportion. It is not hard to drive this car at all and it drives awesome.
My buddy has a 2023 Camaro ...its a v8. I'm not sure what trim but it's definitely fun to drive and ride around in. Sounds great. Looks great. Awesome interior. Great ambient lighting. Changing the ambient lighting in the interior to red is just sinister
Nice. Sounds like it’s the 2SS trim level.
@@cardo1111 yeah I think that sounds about right.!
The SS 1LE is not a muscle car. It's a sports car.
You get used to the visibility very quickly. Took less than a day for me.
I cant believe they killed this car. Sad
I literally have this exact same car, even in the same color and I freaking love it.
Nice.
Me too buddy, 2021.
That red ZL1 1LE picture in the beginning of the video was my background on my computer for almost 4 years lol. Probably my favorite car and the SS 1LE is favorite obtainable car, probably will go down the best in its class for the final V8 cars here in the US 🇺🇸🏎️.
SUPER SOLID VID !!! 10/10
Thanks for the support! Glad you liked it🤟🏼🤟🏼
Bought a 2022 SS 1LE with manual trans in May of ‘23 with 3100 miles for $50k OTD. I love it, might be my last V8 because I don’t know of another car that I would like better. It’s nice to see people finally coming around to what a performance bargain this car is.
So everyone takes it as you never heard of a Mustang Gt500?? You need to stop yo. You know yourself the Camaros are no match for the Mustangs, you know that but you wrote your comment like it's all so true. Stop that bro , you too old to be lying on this web , there's young minds out here wants to know the truth
What color is it?
@@JoeSmith-nu8oo doesn't matter what colour it is Joe this dude is a liar. You seen his comment, and what he said was a Lie, matter of Fact , A d%m Lie. He acting like he never heard of a Mustang, Never trust lying people Joe
@@BruceDragon-sf1trI take you don’t go to your local track meets lol
Your title is a bit misleading. The Camaro may be the last true muscle car from Chevrolet. it is a shame that Chevrolet is killing it off again. They could always bring it back. My point is the car that started this segment, the Mustang, is still going strong. Soon it will be the lone offering in the segment.
I own a 21 2SS Convertible Camaro and love the car. Thought I was gonna own it forever but I think my final choice is gonna have be literally the exact car in the video lol. Wild cherry with a manual and 1le package. Thank you for spreading the word about this impecable car.
Whose car is that? Maybe one day they'll put it up for sale... :)
Visibility: I don't think it's as bad as people make out. I've driven a Lamborghini Diablo and it was far far worse. The one thing is I am a bit short so maybe I sit at a better position than tall people.
But I have talked to several people that considered the Camaro and Mustang and drove both and went with the Mustang ENTIRELY because of the visibility shock.
I tried to tell one of the Camaro engineers this back in 2019 but he was literally listening to a wealthy boomer who owned a few GM products over me. And that is the problem...they need to appeal to more than that core demographic...the need to appeal to new customers. And because they didn't listen, the Camaro is dying.
I have a 2017 2SS and its awesome. Magnaride with recaro seats. Great handling, decent fuel mileage, awesome sound. It makes a great daily for me. Since the idea was not to track it more than once a year, this car is perfect, and visibility is not an issue at all.
Own a 21 2SS Convertible. Everything I need and more. Thankful to be able to buy one before they stopped making them.
People need to understand once you live with this car for a real amount of time and not just afew hours you learn how to position your mirrors and how to deal with the blind spots. They are not great but not as horrible as they are made out to be. And I end with this. If this version of the Camaro is so hard to see out of explain the low 7 minute lap time around the ring.
Excellent points!!
Dude that looks exactly like mines, 21' SS1 1LE In Wild Cherry Tintcoat, stunning color. I've never been a Red car guy and while searching for a Blue one, I found mine...1000 miles away. First Long distance car purchase for me, and instead of having it trailered, I had to go get it and drive it home. Had it for about two years now and I plan to upgrade it while I enjoy it and share mileage duty with the Truck to work. Great car at any price but man it was a smoking great deal!!
Z28 was in 2014-15, definitely on my list to own
Nice vid Austin enjoyed watching this one. Sad to see muscle cars on the way out
This Camaro looks better than a C7 and a especially a C8 to me! I own a mint C5 and a mint C6 ZO6,, I just hate the looks of C7 and C8s
The best deal on the last year Camaro is the LT1 for 38k I was gonna buy one but bought a new Colorado Trail Boss since I own two Corvette’s, but it was a very hard choice since no more Camaros, what the hell are they thinking!
More sports car than muscle car in 1le trim I’d say
The sad days of the 80s and 90s made us sit and listen to old timers tell drag race stories about 454 chevelles pulling wheelies and Cuda myths. The 69 zl1 camero . Or the yenko camero. Or the boss 9 ll, or 427 shelby cobra. I seriously think we'd never gave a crap if yhe car era didn't take a dive. My dad had a nova, a 68 ss camero, a 76 blazer , and then in the mid 80s he bought a black iroc z28 and got a fast looking car that wasn't really fast at all. I was really disappointed when my buddy's dad got a plain jane vortek v8 blazer and smoked everything cool that we thought was fast in the early 90s. My 87 4 speed 4 cylinder s10 was 0-60 in 12 hours.
Iv owned Camaros since i was 16 im now 45. Owned gen 2 3 5 and now a 6. Have no problems seeing out of it except behind me but u get use to it. The gen 6 is absolutely amazing car very reliable. Im 6,3 and im very comfortable love my gen 6.
My wife is 5,8 120 pounds she drives it daily no problems seeing out of it. Back seats suck but we don’t want people back there anyway its more for storage than anything.
We own the RS with 3.6 with twin turbos built myself. I have around $25,000 into everything with around 700 crank HP. For the money I couldn’t be happier with my Camaro.
Camaro the last true muscle car" keep dreaming, Camaros are discontinued for the second time, along with the Chrysler products, meanwhile the gas engine Mustang with 500 horsepower lives on strong ! In fact the Mustang is the number one selling sports car in the world 9 years straight...
Knock this car as much as you want (I understand its probably more the title choice of the video and i agree) But if you haven't driven an SS 1LE you should. I mean everything I'm saying with respect and not in a sense to say "ha ha my car is better than yours". I love mustangs. I owned a 2012 5.0 and the coyote motor is amazing. 4 months ago my wife and I went to the Ford dealership to test drive the new s650s. We drove a 24 401A performance pack and magnetic ride and unfortunately, there was not any feedback in the steering. The car was listed for 65k. They had an SS 1LE there that I decide to drive for fun and I was blown away. The fe4 suspension on that vehicle is on another level in comparison with the cars in its class. The youtube channel Savagegeese just released a video on the SS 1LE I believe 8 days ago or so. You are correct they are discontinued once again and it's really sad. But this car really is one of a kind. Don't take my word for it. If you have some free time go check out the other video. And hey nice shadow black s650. Your car looks good.
I hear what you’re saying my guy. In my opinion, that takes nothing away from the Camaro. More power to ford for keeping the Mustang going. Chevy may have dropped the ball but the Camaro’s that already exist will live on along with the fan base. If Chevy never brings it back then hey, they did a damn good job, brought it back and had a great run this time around. I’d say they did the Camaro fans proud😎🏁🫡
You sound like a Camaro hater 😂😂
Doesn't mean the mustang was the better car. Because it wasn't
Drive a PP1 or 2 mustang and then drive a 1le and then you can talk💀 worst manual transmission in any of the big three muscle cars. Suspension is worse than a challenger stg😭😭😭
I get a title is designed to drive views and engagement. It works. The challenger is a muscle car, but the camaro is a sports car. It will bet lap times on a lot of more expensive cars. 😊
Appreciate the video but the SS is a certified sports car, if we are honest the Challenger was the last real muscle car, the vanilla Mustang splits the difference.
The last true "muscle car" Camaro died with the 5th gen. The new ones are sports cars IMO. This is not to bash the 6th gen, I like them.
The 6th gen 1le is the baddest car ever
Backseats are there for insurance purposes. Not people.
Extra storage. That's what i use my backseats for in my mustang. People can fit back there but I'll use another car for comfort.

I sold my 2021 SS 1le 2 months ago. 6sp. 😢
You guys mentioned the Corvette being "better" more than actually reviewing this Camaro...
mustang exists, also a muscle car
Our GT500 video is coming out soon!
Have had my SS 1le for 2 years now only car I’d trade it in for is a ZL1
Love it🔥🔥
"The last true muscle car" Ya you wish
I love you guy's last point. GM must not bring this car back as an EV. However, I wouldn't mind a hybrid v8 like the E-RAY
Im so sick and tired of this "poor visibility " comments with these people you have blind spot monitoring and the rear view mirror has a back camera that you can utilize 24/7 and shows everything behind you while driving , and what coupe has a bunch of room for the backseats like come on lol I have 21 2ss 1le no visibility issues 😭🤷🏽♂️
2022 Dodge Challenger out sold both Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang.
Ford Mustang 10 years running best selling muscle/sports car, is incorrect.
2022 Dodge Challenger- 55,034
2022 Ford Mustang- 47,566
2022 Chevrolet Camaro- 24,652
Beautiful car. Just needs 19s not 20s.
Looks out of proportion with 20s
The 5th gen is def a little more raw of a car the 6th feels really well built. All the weight savings make it feel really tiny inside compared to the 5th so I never upgraded. Great feeling cars. End of an era for sure.
This makes me miss the Camaro even more, because now the entire segment is just that rolling used tampon Ford calls a Mustang
Wah,wah Wah 😪!!
Exterior visibility on the Countach is much worse. FYI
Visibility is not, you are going over board. Some cars don’t even have a back window
Again, ALL ALPHA chassis cars are sport cars and left the muscle car arena on the 6th gen.
Stop calling it magneride. That’s Ford’s suspension. Magride or mrc or magnetic ride control is what you call the GM system
Good looking out!
Magnetorheological shocks if you want to get technical

I never understood the guy who gets this car in a V6 and not the V8.. It's definitely a very nice car.. I like the 2018's the best...
My guess would be the massive price gap.
Austin was born in 01 ??
No camaro, I can’t respect Chevy for that. Wonder what they did with the Camaro division.
Hopefully something good rather than putting them on an EV project
Beautiful car but the Challenger was the last true muscle car.
I drove a Camaro I didn’t like it I love the 10speed mustang gt
Guess you hate torque
@@1LE_Cikonah he hates slow 😂 mustang = fast
Don't think so...
You don’t but this for the back seat or truck, come on guys seriously 🤷♂️. Visibility is not na issuance you drive one for a long time you get used to it. And if do what high school drivers ed tells you to do by turning your head you can see just fine if a car is on your rear corner. I’m that kind of stuff is what annoys me about these reviews. No common sense about this stuff.
Not Faster than A Lexus/Acura or Beamer.. lexus or honda.... this thing will not last longer than either of them two.😅
which one of those do you track?
@@1LElife 😂😂😂
Keep Dreaming only True Muscle car with most Factory Horsepower 1,025 is 2023 Dodge Demon 170 with Supercharged Hemispherical engine.
Chevrolet Camaro SS or ZL-1, or Ford Mustang, NOT most powerful muscle cars.
This is not a muscle car but a sports car
I don’t miss a day a week kislux This show..
Damn shame we couldn’t see in light. I THINK it was nice looking but not sure. HORRIBLE VIDEO
Glad you liked the video, thanks for taking the time to leave a nice comment! Don’t forget to like and subscribe!!!
Gaaaaaay
They did not creat z28 to compete with the vette. It was to compete with the gt350 😅 gosh . Where I'd all this false info you goot?
The Z/28 came out years before the GT350. The GT350 was created to take on the Z/28
