    Awesome Falcon!! I personally thought that Ford hit an absolute home-run with every one of their 1964 model line-up. This car is perfection in every respect. The 260 motor, C-4 trans ..... Finished out perfectly, from the color, wheels, and great chrome trim. Thnx for sharing.

    Jay, you know what I mean?
    I'm watching this having my morning coffee and the granddaughter's just dropped off warm homemade pumpkin bread.
    AUTOMOTIVE HISTORY;
    Put away the high tech performance accessories of today. Back in the day street cars were of 2 groups - big block and small block. And I say street cars because in the sixties you didn't call private owner 'muscled up' cars muscle cars. Muscle cars came from the factory like GTO'S, SS Impala, Galaxie 500 with 390's & Mopar Wedges.
    When cars guys ( or car kids ) saw something like this Falcon Sprint drive by down your street ( there weren't car shows back then like we have now ) there was a process, a mental forensic exam going on as I stood on the curb watching and listening - the exhaust sound, the colors of the body and interior, the wheels and tires spinning around, the look of the car turning a corner, the chrome trim, chrome dash, white letters on the tires going round, the tire tread, oh and the front end slight lifting as the gas pedal is mashed to the floor on a straightaway and on and on. As a kid just seeing a car with dual exhaust was an experience and if it had 2 chrome exhaust tips .... look out. " DID YOU SEE THAT HOOD SCOOP, WOW!"
    We appreciated every little detail.
    Watching a muscled up car in the 60's like this Falcon was like brain surgery man........ I dig it~

    That's a very nice entry level classic car for , in classic car terms, loose change . Personally l would like it to have been a manual and the wheels don't tick my box. But l'm just being fussy! Pretty rare as well ....yep ! Great little hot rod ! Thanks Jay.

      Well one of those things is easy enough to change, not sure about the other. 😜 Merry Christmas John!!

    It looks like he made the scoop functional and the turn signal lights on the back of the scoop cool.

    Mustangs were built with leftover falcon parts. At least 3 or 4 years. Much cheaper than a new car from scratch. Falcons, were great simple cars.

      Mustangs are a dime a dozen just like Camero's, Vetts and Chevs in general.

    I wonder if the red gear selector, and turn signal stalks are original? For me they stand out ... and not in a good way.

    Looks like he is running a marathon trying to keep up with that turntable ! Maybe he needs a clicker to stop it every now and then .

    • @VoloMuseumAutoSales
      @VoloMuseumAutoSales  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We've slowed it down a fair bit from where we used to have it ~9 months ago. It is at 20% speed.
      Also, no way we want to give Jay a clicker to stop the table, he may never stop talking about a section of the car if we do that! 😶🤐
