EXTERIOR: Oh my God, the color is gorgeous. Every person that walks up to it says "that color is beautiful". The metallic burgundy is laid out so smooth and the clear coat is polished so glossy. Door jambs are painted slick. The body looks mint, everything fits real nice. No signs of rust or damage. Upfront the bumper is rechromed, the emblems and hood ornament look new. The moldings down the side are polished like chrome. The trim around the windshield is polished, the windshield is crystal clear. In back the bumper, tail panel trim, tail lights and emblems are all excellent. It has a very rich looking tan Haartz cloth power convertible top. New set of 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels with red Falcon centers. BFG white letter tires. Weatherstrips were replaced.
INTERIOR: Professionally done and very classy custom two-tone upholstery. Good cushions in the bucket seats, the center console is upholstered to match. The door panels are done to match with embossed Falcon patterns, suede armrests. New handles and cranks. On the floor it has a premium grade carpet, custom embroidered floor mats and a Lokar shifter. The dash and tops of the doors are painted just as beautiful as the outside. The whole instrument panel, gauges, knobs are new. The AM radio was actually converted with modern guts, it plays FM stereo. Upgraded walnut steering wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 302 Mustang engine has been bored 30 over. Full of performance goodies- forged J&E aluminum flat fat pistons, J&E wrist pins, Speed Pro file fit rings, Comp Cam, hydraulic lifters, roller rockers. It has Dart race heads, stainless steel race valves and competition springs. It has an MSD ignition system, billet distributor. Dressed up with chrome Ford Racing air cleaner and valve covers. It has a fan in the front of the motor with the proper shroud, aluminum upgraded radiator and it has a giant electric fan in front of that. The alternator is chrome. It features power steering, the brake master cylinder is updated to a dual reservoir. It has premium throttle cables to the chromed dual feed Holley carb with electric choke on top of an Edelbrock intake. A set of headers let it exhale. The battery is bolted down properly. Bottom of the hood and engine bay or painted.

You nailed this one perfectly!! Absolutely beautiful burgundy, the chrome is impeccable and the tan interior is a perfect match! Again, following the lights' reflection as it turned, the panels appear to be as smooth and straight as glass. And the gaps .... They looked absolutely uniform in the video. Well restored and well explained and presented. What an awesome Futura. I doubt there is one anywhere to compare. Great video, and once again, thank you.

Hi Jay. Mr. Bowling has said everything that needs to be said .......again!! 😁 The colour and finish is flawless with the running gear and interior immpeccably presented. Did l see power switches on the front seats ( at the bottom rear) or are they tilt mechanisms ? It wants for nothing and the new owner will definitely have many happy hours with this honey. I love the car, but WHY can't people leave well enough alone. If the inside was as original as the outside, it would be a fantastic car. My Dad had one like this only in Brown, also a convertible. It had a gutless 6 cylinder but a nice car overall. I was always like how the gearshift read, Park, Neutral, Drive, Low, Reverse at the bottom.
Back in the day the Falcon was Ford’s cheap economy car. Today it looks fantastic in contrast to all the current boring lookalikes.

I would love buy it. I like loud exhaust on some cars, but this car should be a little quieter so that it hides what is under the hood.
