Great tutorial, But I have a problem: when I try raley to blind and I pass the bar my kite goes down and falls into the water very often 😓 how can I avoid it?
Hello Juanma, well spotted, yes that was a rebel. It unhooks fine, it doesn't stall. It does power up quicker and depower quicker than a dice/vegas/etc while unhooked. A small change in angle of the kite changes the pull a lot. The dice however is a bit more even and consistent in terms of pull while unhooked, and takes longer to drop when the lines are slack.
Definitely. That's probably the best shape to try unhooking for most people. Then something like the Dice (which is a hybrid designed to unhook well) is good if you're unhooking a lot.
@@kitesurfcollege Dice 2014 8m is my favorite kite for unhooked! Very stable. First I do everything tricks on it, then transfer to other size kites. Please tell, is there any difference between dice 2014 and 2019? And is there a big difference between dice 8 and dice 12m? (i have rpm 10 m as main, and gts 12 m for lightwind, but may be go to dice as same sizes)
Yes that's correct. A backroll rotates in a similar direction to a front side pass (the nose of the board aims upwind at first) AND a frontroll rotates in a similar direction to a back side pass (the tail of the board points upwind at first). This is why after an unhooked backroll it's most natural to do a front side pass, and after an unhooked front roll it's most natural to do a back-side pass.
Great tutorial as always. Thanks for posting man.
My pleasure!
amazing break down of the steps and moves ! awesome!
Really well thought out and easy to understand video. Thank you
Great manual! Thnx!
You're welcome!

Is it ok to learn this with an Evo-like type of kite ?

BACK side pass = same rotation over the water= call FRONT roll. Hmmm anyone can clarify this? Back/Front
