Nice video Ben ! Thank you For handle pass beginners like me, i would advice to start on the beach without board then on the water without jump, just a 360 when riding even a 720 or 900 ... to get used to spin round and round without moving the bar🤗
Thats good advice but not everybody will understand this way of explaining it. What helped me is to understand my central point of rotation - the hip. As this is the part that needs to get close to the bar and only then can you go for the pass.
Nice video. You make it 5 years ago. But i have a problem now with raley 2 blind 😂: i'm kiting alweys with my 14mq.. until the wind is around 15 knots... I goal... But over 15 knots... It seems the kite dosnt slack... But i alweys steer down it... Do you have a help for me
Benjamin Beholz can you teach us your favourite trick... the back mobe? Its on my list as next as I've got the backroll to toeside consistently both directions now, just that last 180 and of course the pass is a bit scary since your back is turned toward the landing at the last second haha. Hi Ben! I have been struggling in upgrading my raley to blind to a blind judge for way too long! I landed my first raley to blind over 2 years ago and have been working on passing the bar in the air since then. I just cannot get it to work! Luckily in the meantime I did progress in other tricks: Raley to wrapped, frontroll to blind and almost hinterberger 3’s, but none of these with an airpass. So, do you have any tips on how to pass the bar in the air??? Cheers Bastiaan

I have never tried dangle passes, but recently I have been practicing the movement with an old bar tied to some tree or climbing frame: So probably I should focus on doing dangle passes when kiting or practicing on land.. Dangle passes however are quite different to 'normal/freestyle' handle passes?

I didn't like it because your handle pass technic is better than mine :D my last session only kiteloop 3 was working, I need to get back on track with handle passes...

I don't see anyone spinning "around the bar" in the vids, to be honest. it's more accurate to say that u r spinning around your own axis and the bar stays put.. more or less
No, I do not see that like you... imagine you've got a handle hanging from the roof. If you wonna do a handlepass on that handle, you need to pull yourself over and around the handle -> exactely that's what you do on a handlepass with a kite, the only difference is the kite is at 45 degrees....
@@BenBeholzVlogs okay but if u would spin around the bar, wouldn't u get tangled in lines? :) I think I understand what u mean though , that u should not try to force the bar to move around. but I what I clearly see in the videos is that the rider spins around his own axis NEXT to the bar. It is a good informative video, even if I disagree with your "spinning around the bar" interpretation.

hey, danke dir... Also Linus ist auf dem Impact unterwegs. Ich kann also nur für mich sprechen. Der GTS4 hat sehr gute Freestyle-eigenschaften und eignet sich zudem auch noch für alle anderen Disziplinen sehr gut. Mit Sicherheit gibt es Tage an denen man die radikalen Freestyle-eigenschaften des impact vermisst, aber es gibt noch mehr Tage an denen ich froh bin einen so nutzerfreundlichen kite zu fahren ;) Guter relaunch, gut für Bigair, gut in der welle. Ein gutes allroundpaket eben... hoffe ich konnte dir weiter helfen cheers Ben

Dangle passes however are quite different to 'normal/freestyle' handle passes?

i used to do it in 2011 as well as backmobe and 313 but somehow I lost it... i guess i just need more practice.
