I don't have that much makeup, but the reviewers who have inspired my purchases the most are Rachhloves and Zabrena. Candice Victoria and Mrs. Melissa M have inspired more of my skin care purchases. Although, I did buy something Emily Noel recommended today. It was Cheekers and it was 50% off. Truth be told, I'm more inclined to NOT purchase something one of my favorite reviewers doesn't like than purchase something they do like. But, I'm poor.
I don't get people who think you're getting ready for other people. Life isn't a fashion show or beauty pageant. You're getting ready for the day no matter where you spend it. It's about what you feel good doing with your makeup and what you wear. I feel like whatever you're in the mood for is what it should be...not living for other people or what they might think. 😊

Her sister went out of town and forgot her makeup bag. Emily told her exactly what to get at the drug store (minimal as possible).

I'm one of those people that lives out in the middle of nowhere, 50 miles away from any type of mall or Ulta, Target etc. Walmart is the only thing here. well there is Dollar general too ... I have used it with a brush, a sponge, and my fingers. Any way I have applied it has worked out great. Living in Georgia, our summers are incredibly hot and humid, but this foundation has never failed my oily skin. If someone is serious about wanting very good, informed suggestions about makeup you are the absolute best. You're the first TH-cam channel I ever subscribed to and it has been the best decision I ever made as a makeup lover!!
I really like the Maybelline Lash Discovery mascara for a undereye mascara. The brush is tiny and you can also use it to find those lashes at the outer part of your eyelid. It has been around a while and I like it just as much as my Clinique mascara with a tiny brush which costs more.
I love the sable in the Cover Girl instant cheeks. It’s worked for me for years upon years, during any season to give that fresh, healthy look. Pop it in your purse and refresh at work, or as you head out after work to grab some drinks with your friends. The new CG highlighters are beautiful as well. The singles don’t have the shimmer while still giving you that glow.
I love that you generally keep you eye look to one palette. I feel like a lot of other TH-camrs mix and match 3-4 palettes for every eye look and it makes them hard to follow. Thanks!

I’m on my 4th tube of that L’Oréal lip color. I love it!! Also, another great foundation at WalMart- Milani. I use 2 pumps and a drop of oil and get TONS of compliments on my skin!
I love the profusion smoky palette...and then I dropped it and lost half of the colors! At least it's less than $5 so I don't feel so bad replacing it!

What a solid foundation choice ! I have oily - combo skin and this is the ONLY drugstore coat foundation that works for me. Min face I like it better than 90% of my prestige foundation
I love the Healthy Foundation! It's a perfect middle of the road foundation that is light enough for everyday, but gives me good coverage and lasts really nicely throughout my 9-10hr workday at the hospital! I only powder my nose a tad since oils show pop up towards the end of the day, but it doesn't break up or slide around, which is fantastic!
i remember when the covergirl outlast lip came in a little pocket pack, i tried every color! i'm glad it's still around, i have one color that's working for me
Great video idea, Emily! I love affordable and accessible makeup. Another affordable goody that can be found at Walmart would be wet n wild - walking on eggshells eyeshadow quad is one that comes to mind. They’ve got some good blushes too.

The Milani Keep It Full Nourishing glosses are my FAVORITE glosses to have come out since the Huda Beauty lip toppers in like 2017, only the Milani glosses are better! The really do plump your lips over time...
You can use Arrowroot powder as a translucent powder and not have to spend money on buying store bought translucent powder and it's even healthier for you as it doesn't have any chemicals in it. Especially if you have sensitive skin.

These are the videos I love! For me, and I'm sure im not alone, if I need a look to go out to dinner or any kind of event its really awesome that i can watch this video and go right out and get the products used. Hi Emily, I adore your channel. I have a suggestion for a video. I've been seeing videos with different styles of eye makeup. Halo eyes, eye shadow on the lower lash line only, graphic eye shapes (Katie Jane Hughes style), etc. I think you do your eye makeup so beautifully but you certainly have a style you gravitate towards. I think it would be cool if you tried a week of different styles/colors. Have a lovely day!

Safia Smashbox Primer Oil. It took about a week for my skin to get used to using an oil, a couple of clogged pores etc., but now my skin craves it.

I love the physicians formula healthy foundation. They also have a new line of organic products you should do a video on! They have a really nice serum foundation in that new line.
I also live in a rural area where Walmart, along wit Dollar general are the only makeup choices. Love this video idea.

What a solid foundation choice ! I have oily - combo skin and this is the ONLY drugstore coat foundation that works for me.

I love the Healthy Foundation! It's a perfect middle of the road foundation that is light enough for everyday, but gives me good coverage and lasts really nicely throughout my 9-10hr workday at the hospital! I only powder my nose a tad since oils show pop up towards the end of the day, but it doesn't break up or slide around, which is fantastic!

Great video idea, Emily! I love affordable and accessible makeup. Another affordable goody that can be found at Walmart would be wet n wild - walking on eggshells eyeshadow quad is one that comes to mind. They’ve got some good blushes too.

These are the videos I love! For me, and I'm sure im not alone, if I need a look to go out to dinner or any kind of event its really awesome that i can watch this video and go right out and get the products used. I can afford them and they are right at walmart or any drug store. I love higher end product videos too but i love these more

Hi Emily, I adore your channel. I have a suggestion for a video. I've been seeing videos with different styles of eye makeup. Halo eyes, eye shadow on the lower lash line only, graphic eye shapes (Katie Jane Hughes style), etc. I think you do your eye makeup so beautifully but you certainly have a style you gravitate towards. I think it would be cool if you tried a week of different styles/colors. Have a lovely day!
