Wherever he's from, he's definitely not amongst the really poor people though as he has lots of power tools and other supplies. He could do so much for helping the poor in his area with his intelligence and creativity.

    This was really cool to watch and I understand why you used acrylic instead of metal so everyone could see the inner workings, I was really impressed that you built your own carburetor and reed valve especially with so many small carbs and reed valves available. I do agree with some of the other comments about fuel mixture control which would get a more stable run as well as more rpm but all in all it was successful and I was impressed with the whole build

    • @C4H10N4O2
      @C4H10N4O2 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The air entering the carb doesn't seem to be fast enough for the jet size, and the gaz vaporize only partly. I bet it would run better with a smaller jet and a venturi.

    • @mikeypromail
      @mikeypromail 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      A compressor is basically just an engine in reverse sort of. Example: The Freon Gas is sort of the "fuel" in a refrigerator compressor, the "exhaust" is liquid freon. Instead of the gas making an explosion and pushing down, the electric motor pushes up :)
      But yeah, extraordinarily good work and inginuity here

    • @motoboymatt
      @motoboymatt 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    A spark plug made from a screw? I would not have thought of that in a million years! This guy's very good.

    I was wondering why he used acrylic then i realized it was for demonstration purposes. This was FANTASTIC. I love to know just how much horse power it would make with a proper carburetor, metal head and all. I'm thinking 1 to 1.25 hp! Great Vid, This Dude has an Engineer's level mind!

    Awesome build. I was thinking ahead of each step, 'I think he's gonna _________ next'. But in a couple instances, I was wrong. I imagined making it power something mechanical afterward. You could show it off at a local fair!

      It reminds me of something my teacher saw once. It was a custom built Air Compressor used for "air cleaning" where it puts out a powerful burst of air, and it acts like a waterless pressure washer. It was built off a Chevy V8 that had half the cylinders turned into compressors and the other half was still a Chevy V8. Ran like mad and the thing out out so much air it would impress the wolf in the 3 little pigs.

    Blew the plug out, just like a Triton! Great stuff. Just needs higher compression than you can get with a fridge compressor.

    That is pretty freaking awesome! Don't let the bulk of these guys get you down. You did an amazing job, and I really liked watching it. As a mechanic I was impressed by your knowledge on how to build everything from scratch.
    I can build anything with parts, but when it comes to fabrication, I'm lost.
    Great job!

    Really cool project! Any idea as to how much power and torque it puts out? I have the same question about the car compressor engine. I'm curious to see if I can make a practical use of this design.

    I've been to two goat ropings and three county fairs and that beats anything yet I have seen. Ingenious using plexiglass so you could see it work. I do believe that there is a working engine somewhere with the same principle but made out of steel so it will run. I'm impressed with your own spark system using a bolt and gap deal. I have to share this one!!!!
