This seems like an updated version of the akina touge track, it doesn't have the initial d arcade stage 8 stuff all over the map. Could you link to the track? I can't find this version on Touge Union.

Was the opponent driving with vr too? Seemed like he wasn't driving aggressive anough like he has not anough sight to check how close surrounding is, anyone else feels like that too?

No, my opponents are always 100% strength AI, so "he" is not driving with VR
