You can't just plug in a device like this to give you CarPlay. You will either need to activate through Main Dealer or an Aftermarket Interface to offer this.
Is that your cars wireless phone charging pad you have put your car play transmitter/reciever on? These wireless car play devices dont work very good as they are but now you are definately going to get some interference?
I have a CARLINKIT Air2 5.0, I can't connect it, I already activated CarPlay and accessories and gave the permissions from my iPhone, it connects quickly on my sienna, but I CAN'T connect my AUDI A6 2016, let me know what I should do or my system is blocked Audi by manufacturer. Thanks
My 2017 Audi Q2 has one usb port and that’s only for charging So not suitable for connecting a data cable or dongle. To build in a data usb port is very expensive and I will also need an expensive module for infotainment communication. So CarPlay is no option in my Audi
There is a way u can get the you tube. Google it u will find. I seen it people hacked the app and beable to use carplay. Otherwise carplay has limite app option.. Even TH-cam music u have to have paid account to use on car screen

No this is a solution to go from Wired CarPlay to Wireless with factory installed Apple CarPlay. Smartphone Interface can be activated on this platform from Oct 2016 onwards. Older vehicles can have an aftermarket system which is approx £800 to be done properly.
A vehicle of that age / spec won’t have factory fitted CarPlay. Remember this wireless dongle only gives you wireless CarPlay as long as you have factory fitted CarPlay originally.

No, you will need to get the correct connection. Audi use AMI to USB

This system only works for cars that already have CarPlay Installed. It does not give you CarPlay.

When we filmed the video the dongle could offer CarPlay and Android Auto. Since it's been revised it is now just Apple CarPlay.
