Cheap Pond Fountain - Testing the $500 1/4 hp Fountain

Doc installs the cheap pond fountain and gives it an initial run. While most pond fountains range in the $2000 - $5000 this one is about $500. He will let the fountain run for several weeks and see if any problems arise.

BTW the bottom aerator puts oxygen from the bottom to the top of the pond. Where a Foutain only aerates about the top 12 inches. I know you said you had another bottom aerator so you should be good just an FYI

I had a fountain in my pond and it had lights that you could change color lights for Xmas. It shot higher but about the same width. Loved it. We would own the windows to sleep. Tranquil for sure.

Don’t add any more bass, only bluegill and other feed stock (shad, shiners, depending on where u are)…though need a strong population of bluegill and the bass will take care of themselves!
