What makes this initiative exciting is that Modji has approved an Arid landscape for this purpose instead of the usual lush forest. Hence, not much environmental loss as there is not much habitation and hence not much population affected by the future industrial pollution.
Wish we can convert more such arid landscapes to industrial hubs.
As Gujarati we know how fake activists disturb people lives… projects develop slowly due to our limited resources and we don’t allow politicized development projects….
@@akp3097 As a TN guy, I can vouch that fake activists have ruined Vedanta Copper factory in TN. Instead of fixing pollution issue DMK turned it into a BJP issue. India was earning a lot via exports, now we a losing more money due to imports.

I remember that because we keep eye on this type groups… this groups delayed Narmada dam by 30-40 years which forced my family to migrate from saurastra to Surat…. Why people don't call Dholera as extremely slow project, this special funding project is not even matching the normal pace of other new towns like Navi Mumbai, Gurugram, Cyberabad(Hyderabad), then when it will take over, cause I am listening it from last 7-8 years. I had visited this smart city. Openly sellers talk about black money. If we have to buy place in smart city and live amongst corrupt people, then better to continue in our cities. Govt has no control on how plots are being bought and sold. I gave up plans to buy in Gujarat. Better to go to city that accepts they are corrupt. Gujarat shows off as ideal city but it is well known that builders ask for black, they don't agree for 100% white.

Followed by opinions clashes Modi and co and exit of TDP(AP) from NDA made obstacle for its progress .This clan of Union Ministries made sure no grants and benifits for Amaravathi (AP Capital) to gain its momentum. Indeed they were sure this Dholera will be affected by the progress of Amaravathi.Present govt of AP(YCP) which is a local oppostion party to TDP elected in 2019 which has undeclared friendship with Bjp heads made sure capital shall be halted immediately and has proposed a wierd plan having 3 capitals(Judiciary , Administration,Executive) around the states stating S.A decentralized capital plan .The farmers of Amaravati who willing handover their lands to establishing and development of new capital for newly formed state were protesting on roads since 3 years after stupid plans of present govt.BJP should stop it s injustice towards AP

This is not the only greenfield city underconstruction. There is also Auric City in Sambhajinagara, Maharashtra, Integrated Industrial Township in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and Vikram Udyogpuri in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.

..so I return in my village do farming & btw I don't even smoke cigarettes don't have any bad habits...my friend always put cigarettes in my bag but I don't use it... Or Maybe it's only me...I don't know.. it's just my personal experience
