Hi, please can you do a video on the absurdly high vehichel taxes in india and also about what can be done to replace it (eg introduction of parking fees, tolls and traffic fines that are at par with western and gulf nations). That way, the government can and and thereby pump I money into the economy and also take care to reduce deaths, and also increase productivity . I think talking about the pathetic state of our roads also is a topic worth exploring. It can be a 2 or 3 part series.

I'm a gujrati, and I hate when narrow minded people saying "why only gujrat". When they build first modern Metro in delhi, we gujrati celebrated, when they build the Sea Link bridge, we celebrated. Yes I'm a gujrati, but I'm an Indian first. We should celebrate that after years India is actually progressing fast and being recognised at global level. From the current situation we need lots and lots of GIFT cities in India. Please as an Indian support all the state, jab hum Indians me hi sath nai honge to vapas koi Divide and Rule khel k chala jayega. Don't spread hate just be glad to be a part of such a great country

I think people need to understand this that this was the pet project which was taken when Modi was CM, and Gujarat government was aspirational regarding GIFT city, After Modi became PM, the Govt of GJ ensured that the project continues and made plans accordingly.
So both GJ and Central Govt and spirit of people of Gujarat led it to what it is today.
Having multiple economic hubs in India is the need of the hour(Just not depend on Mumbai)
If people from any state gets offended seeing this project progress, then simply elect the government that would make efforts to bring such changes.
(I am saying this especially as I have observed some people from Maharashtra getting offended in every other project as if they don't want others to develop )

Patel died in 1950. He couldn't be the first elected PM.the first election was held in 1952 and all planning for the economy started after that. 1947-1952 Nehru was not elected by Indians in a general election. He took over reins from the British as part of Congress Party President(internal understanding[apparently on behest of J. Nehru's mother]) pushed by Gandhi. Though Patel got more votes than Nehru for the post, he was asked to withdraw his name by Gandhi so J. Nehru could be President of Congress Party and thus first PM of independent India.

Congress supported Hardik Patel who was raising his voice for reservation. Congress thought they were winning because people would choose Congress in the hope of a reservation policy but they failed miserably even when the reservation thing was beneficial for the majority of the state. Kejriwal proposed freebies if Gujaratis chose him and he was also thrown despite the luxuries he promised. Gujaratis have been choosing BJP for decades due to the seeds they were plowing which are yielding fruits now like the GIFT city or industry-friendly policies.

@@SIMARJEETMEHTA hey first know the difference between freebies ( INDI alliance) and welfare schemes ( Indian govt ) . INDI alliance is wasting hard earned taxpayers money on freebies ie freebies for all and not restricted only to poors or real needful beneficiaries . Because of this Karnataka which was once budget surplus is now reduced to debt economy. Where as PM Modi's welfare schemes are for poors and not for all . And due to this Modiji could uplift 11 th largest Economy Indian economy ( 2013) to 5th largest economy in just 10 yrs . And hey US and Europe are developed countries not developing country like India where only 1% Population pay direct tax where as US and Europe 85% Population pay direct tax . So stop your WhatsApp university claims and think sensibly

    • @Zxcvb137
      @Zxcvb137 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@SIMARJEETMEHTANo offence but please understand the difference between a freebie and government’s duty. Building roads, toilets, giving healthcare facilities, cylinders, home loan etc are government’s responsibility. These are not freebies. Due to giving cylinders to poor rural women, their mortality rate due to lung damage have reduced, overall health has improved. This brings down the expenditure for healthcare borne by the individual and the state in the long run. The whole country benefits due to this even if we are not the ones receiving this cylinder. Same with Ayushmann scheme. Health care is basic human right, not a freebie.
Now giving a bottle of alcohol or free chicken or kitchen utensils or cheating voters with warranty card, promising khattakat ₹8500 in your account is a carrot freebie or replacing new pension scheme, with old pension scheme, knowing that it will make the government ultimately bankrupt, but still going ahead for vote bank politics is a freebie for appeasement.

2013-2015 was the golden period of gift city
    After 2015 things changed
    1. IAS lobby took over Gift existing replacing a technocrat by an Ex IAS officer
    2. You know how things works E.sreedharam is an technocrat who is known as the Maker of Delhi metro and the famous Konkan railway.
    3. Gift city was also in the hands of a brilliant technocrat MR.Rk Jha( MD)
Mr. RK jha needs no intro he was one of the first residents of Navi Mumbai and a brilliant planner. Who shaked the whole Navi Mumbai from scratch.
Legends say Modi ji was was searching for well abled man to lead the project and he was amazed to know about RK jha and invited him to shape gift city.
    4. With the support of Modi ji and vison of RK jha things were going in the desired direction.
    5. Things changed when Modi ji became PM and went to Delhi slowly their was not an able leader who could manage the Gujarat state and Gift city.
    5. Slowly and steadily internal corruption took place which led to politics and Mr RK jha had to resign forcefully.
5.1 for a few period of time a new CEO was assigned but n better results were seen
    6. Then the Ias lobby took over and and had one of the ex ias as the MD.
    7. After that gift city deteriorated
RK jha had planned to bring inverstors from abroad to build infrastructure but after his departure local builders took over.
    8. Legends say Gift city needs a well abled person to deliver results.
I see no better person then RK jha to be the one.
    9. For consider in 16 years gift city has been only been able to 30,000 jobs less than the projected.
    10. Modi ji himself was himself furious with the project and wanted to have a new MD but none worked IAS lobby wins.
Gift city is good but it should have been 10X by this time in terms of investment, infrastructure
The gift city we see is thanks to one man "Mr Ramakant Jha"
You should see his documentry in Nat Geo. A brilliant one

@HINATAHYUGA-js9ke What did exactly BJP promised in MP that is termed as freebies here? Indeed, in the end, it's politics, and they may offer something, but in the end, it's about the state's capacity. Karanataka was 4th surplus state, and now they are saying they are on the bottom line because they offered a lot of freeebies. If you think BJP is favouring Gujarat just from the news, it's a great thing. Keep believing if not mention which other state had the capacity if it was not Gujarat. The companies you hear investing lakhs and crores in Gujarat are no new to Gujarat they have been already there from Decades, and if they like Government and the land due to it's geographical location how would you blame the private corporations? You are from Telangana yourself. Your neighbouring states in the southern region have Language issue, Water issues, Political chaos, and much more. For the region near Bihar, extreme politics by the Yadav gang and UP has been already receiving investments lately.
Lol Marathis are not crying it's their ego talking they think Modi wants to replace Mumbai, and it's an extremely stupid claim to make because Mumbai is a nation's pride in various aspects. Sone conservative MH people don't want other states to flourish, and that is the issue you may notice in the comment section. What sort of hooligans do you think Gujarat has? Which chaos did you recently hear that makes you think Gujarat has hooligans? The keywords you gave to search replies with no relevant result. Either it's your local news that emphasized something that BJp is dividing muslim or something which persuades you to make the statement. GIFT city was announced in 2007 when Namo was CM and the project was approved by then Centre in 2008. Why would he announce something in MH lmao?
For itir rebate, centre shouldn't have cancelled from what's in the News until it was something else unmentioned. It is indeed true that Southern states have been contributing to the economy way more than northern states. And no, you may be sad to hear, but Gujarat receives no special treatment from the center either. Which tax rebate are you talking about as I haven't been staying in the nation lately, but I would love to hear if such a thing exists.

Only reason "Our Officers". Our officers always ask for Indian connection to foreign clients. Without Indian connection , they are not interested. Even our officers not trained how to talk to foreign clients. If you go to Singapore or Dubai, they never ask from which country you are coming from. They give red carpet if you have money to invest. I still do not understand if Gift city only made for Indian(NRI) clients than why Mr.Modi promoting everywhere and asking foreign investor to come to Gift City.Give.
