Please design one so that the tailgate can be kept. A lot of us use the tailgate as a table/workspace/outdoor cooking area and won’t purchase a camper if we can’t keep it.
We design the campers with a vertical rear door so that access into the loadbin is streamlined. No climbing over a tailgate! A better option for you would be a canopy & rooftop tent so that the tailgate can be kept.
@@alu_cab I'm a field biologist and work out of my Tundra an average of 175 nights a year. The tailgate is one of my central places of gear organizing, resting, working on reports, cooking, etc. The Alu-Cab is a great setup, but for my purposes, the lack of keeping the tailgate removed it from the running when I bought a new camper last year. If it were an option, l'd have absolutely gone with the Ali-Cab and would consider ditching my current setup if it did become an option. I realize that I'm probably in the minority here. A RTT is an absolute no go.
Full SIZE 'opening Door'!...Such a Unique 'Feature'...Only From Alu-CAB!!! Jeremy do you have 'Licensed' Dealers/Distributors/Installers in Canada ( Toronto,Ontario area..)?...I am early in my 'Research'...but i am 'considering'! CHEERS!
Hi there! Yes, we do have dealers in Canada. You can find your nearest dealer by using the Dealer Locator on our website (www.alu-cab.com/dealer-locator/). The closest one to you would be Dubois et Freres ltee / tente de toit in Quebec.
Phenomenal. Great set up
Had a look at one today at the Perth Caravan Camping Show...a really good setup and looks well constructed...you’re on a winner...
Thanks, Mark!
I want one of these with a wedgetail/trayon style flip to the side. Would buy one instantly in that case.

I'm looking for something slightly wider than the vehicle. The type which requires the whole bin to be removed.
That's the best setup that I have seen so far! Does it work for a 2022 Gladiator Mojave Jeep?
Hi there! Yes, we do offer a Jeep Gladiator Canopy Camper fitment kit.
What’s the total weight with rap around awning please
What a beauty! How much will it cost me?
Great video.
Very efficient. It’s evolved well.
Thanks!
