This is a great addition! I had the old Hannibal tent (no longer made) 1,8mx2,4m back in the day and travel all over southern Africa with my young family of Mom & two girls. We used that as a family from ages 5 till 17 years old and we all 4 managed it fit. But the old RTT's and wind are not great. This with a hard shell and internal access is going to be amazing. Would not be surprised if the rental companies become your biggest customer.
This looks great! Will seriously consider it as an option if I upgrade to a pickup (bakkie) in the future. Would love to see the various inside setups in the future.

We currently have an iKamper skycamp, which sleeps the 4 of us - Wife, 10 year old, 7 year old and I. We ran a trailer for several years, but love the idea and having everything on 4 wheels. We have a 20 Tundra that I think would fit this platform well. Any recommendations on a dealer in the Midwest? And what are the current lead times to the US. Thanks in advanced.

Will these be available in a tent only configuration? Ive got a gen 3r on my ford ranger with the contour canopy and it works great i just need more sleeping area. Well done guys
We ask your wonderful company to make a tent for the family, like regular roof tents, without a caravan, so that we can buy it and install it on the trailer, because most of the hiking is done alone, without the family, with friends. Please take this into account in the near future... Greetings to you from Baghdad.
I feel like you guys should have used the fold out ladder design like the ikamper rather than that little pole and straps for the extension support. Also it would be nice to have a ladder to provide an additional way to get in the tent from the outside.
@@ismaeelariefdien216 But as i see it, when four persons sleeps inside and someone want to go on the toilet, in the middle of the night, for example, someone over the entrance must to wake up and let him go. A ladder from the side is not bad idea.
Will you ever offer an option that does not delete the tailgate? That is the number one reason why I have not purchased your builds. I want my tailgate and the flexibility it provides. Dust, spare tire, and entry I can manage but having your design choice keeps me from converting the truck back and forth easily if I choose to do so. Thanks for the consideration!

We cannot advise on Bush Company fitments as we do not know the mounting points of there awning. Once Fitment Instructions are available, you would have to check how our Awning Mount works with a Bush Company.
I've followed your company for a long time, but I just can't consider your current products. I hope you answer the kinds of internal space being made by Tune M1 or Project M at some point in the future. It's much more elegant than just a rooftop tent on a truck. If nothing else, most of us sit at tables and use laptops to work, how can we do that in a triangular rooftop tent just on top of the truck?
Hi there! We do offer drop-down tables and back rests in a selection of our rooftop tents and campers. Our Campers offer interior space that can be kitted out to the customer's needs. But whatever works for you and your travels!
@@alu_cabaka expensive A.F. This is made for the wealthy to buy and strut around the expo’s, or the instagramer’s who make a living off of “influencing”. One of the biggest issues with these (other than needing to be a millionaire to buy one) is the weight. With a family in the truck, plus this on the back, you’re probably already over payload. Most of these “midsize” trucks have a payload of 1000 to 1500 lbs (and the 1500lb ones are base models with no options). So even if you did sell your kidney to buy one, you would then be driving an unsafe vehicle. But you certainly would look cool!!

Unfortunately at this stage the Family Camper is only compatible with the ModCAP Base.
Watching reminds me of the Matrix when Neo and Trinity went in the white room and the weapons came screming on screen to grab for boss fight.

It’s not a roof top tent it’s a camper, makes sense for a tent

Is it compatible with the shadow awning?
Yes, as mentioned in the walkthrough there is a specific mounting bracket for the Shadow Awning.
So if I get the F-150 extra long variant I would have the same setup but a bigger box with a massive space inside.

Can I put my bush company 270 XT awning on the mod-CAP?
We cannot advise on Bush Company fitments as we do not know the mounting points of there awning. Once Fitment Instructions are available, you would have to check how our Awning Mount works with a Bush Company.
