- This is one video you will not want to miss. For the first time ever, I have a guy call the FBI & CIA on me. He called because he said I was buying stolen goods. You won't believe his reasoning. Before that, we hit a yard sale where we spend one dollar on an item we sell on ebay for really good money. Next, we have a regular come into the pawn shop and pawn an item he always returns to pick up and last but not least we go to another garage sale where we find an item we will sell for huge money compared to what we paid for it. So if you enjoy everything reselling or pawn shop related, this is the channel for you.

You handled that very well and professional, I used to own and run a gun shop and had lots of crazy calls, that I actually stopped answering my phone and forced people to come in face to face, I was heavily armed and never had anyone in person act crazy to me, all very polite lol. Not answering my shop phone actually helped my business a lot, it kept the trolls from wasting my time and got more people into my shop which got me way more sales, it was amazing. I owned Kona Guns and Ammo in Kona Hawaii (big island). Great channel, wish you the best of success, Aloha from Hawaii.

I would almost bet it was actually a customer that sold him some gold and silver for an amount and then he found out he could possibly get more. Prob seen himself in the video and it made him mad who knows. But kinda weird if that was a random person that’s never been in the store calling like that

I don't know about the US, but in the UK where I'm from it's actually quite rare for someone to get spot from a brick and mortar store.
Sure, you can get spot via Facebook etc but that comes with a lot of risks. Ebay you can get spot, but when you minus fees it comes to less than what the shops are offering. At the end of the day, you're running a business, and they're getting a straightforward cash sale, without all the risks of selling online or to someone they don't know.

That's why there are guidelines on gold and silver. Everyone should get at least spot when they sell their metals. Even at spot there's still money to be made by businesses.
Folks need to do their homework and learn the rules that pawnshops have to abide by before they go stirring up a mess like this fella tried to . That transaction was none of his business in the first place.

Also, by his way of thinking the same should be true to him…if a guy or gal walks in with the same amount of ounces of silver that the gentleman walked in with. (I watched the video but don’t remember how much it was) small amount I think, and asks for $30 then you should assume that it’s not “stolen” and it’s ok to buy it? He’s a “Dumb” on the basic principles of business. Especially a small business. Real enjoy watching you guys.

A dollar and change under spot is far from theft. The only place to sell silver and gold where I live is a Pawn Shop that pays 50% under spot. That's if you let them pay you that low. That is what I call theft. I wish I had a shop near me that paid the premiums like you guys offer. Keep on doing what you do and you will continue to be blessed brother.

The caller is clueless to the market and what’s available. Wholesaler have been begging us to buy a lot of metal at spot this week because they are flooded with sellers well below spot.
