Another total eye candy show. After part 1, I called Coin Guy and bought one of those shipwreck coins from the SS Republic. Spoke with Guy who handed me over to Nathan who then processed the order. I'm on the west coast. I got that order in just a couple of days. They are so friendly and so efficient. Prices are very good. I like to support Coin Guy who is a great American patriot.
Guy is right about the snowballs and I love them, too. I remember stocking shelves with mayo at .49 cents back in 1968.And I love this collection.
I called Guy and snagged half of the Standing lib bag. Very rare to see a hoard in that good condition!

Similar story as Gabriel below. I'm also on the West Coast. Saw this video, and the New Orleans GSA Morgancaught my eye. Called yesterday, they shipped same day. Very courteous, very efficient, good prices. All positives.
I have a NGC slabbed 1858 O Seated Liberty half dollar from the SS Republic shipwreck.
That's the one I chose for my type set.
There's something special about a shipwreck coin, it raises eyebrows even when I show it to a non collector friend.
HI Speg! I had a Chance at a 1897 5 Mark for $95 bucks about 4 years ago... didn't have to cash along. Went back next day... Gone! I knew it was Special. That Eagle is Smokin. Oh Well Can't get them all. Cheers JJ

A beautiful and expensive collection.. when i collected coins at 12, we didn't see coins like these 65 years ago in my area.
You know, dealers always complain about how the old timers die away and no one is entering the hobby, yet coin prices are higher than they have ever been and many of them disappear from the store long before the video comes out.
Speaking of quality control, I have a coin turned almost 180 degrees in a PCGS slab and it's not a rattler. And I know it came out of PCGS like that, because that's exactly what the picture in their database shows.
To wife: The day you can re-sell a purse that you've owned for 10-15 years for a profit, you can have all the purses you want.

Full of admiration for Guy's and Nathan's work ethic. The $10 gold back I bought from Coin Guy has been framed and mounted. Virtually no one around here has ever seen one, so they ask me about it.
Coin guy makes a great point, the various drinks for instance on offer are manufactured possibly for cents per bottle, the rest is marketing etc that the consumer has to pay for, the premiums on precious metals pale into insignificance to these items, buy metals not cola etc.

Hahaha .... the story about the two old guys bidding up that coin for $85,000 is a perfect example of a coin/object is worth what someone is willing to pay for it 🤔
Still don't mean it's worth that. As the winner might go to sell it today and get 40k. People pay more then stuff is worth every day.

The bad part for the consumer now is with the QR codes descriptions will mean zero . The manufacturer can change one molecule that changes the flavor or texture or how we used to perceive the product and we will never know what they did

I think iam the same age as coin guy. On my paper route in the mid sixties I had 52 customers. Made 26 dollars a month. Had all kinds of money.

Excellent video. I bought a few Morgan’s in Rattlers from Coin Guy! Ordered Friday had them Monday. Florida to Texas. Excellent experience and the best part was talking to Guy. I WISH I had a place like that close to me. I’d go in a few times a week to see all the new stuff, visit and talk coins. The knowledge to be gained is immeasurable.
What a collection! I feel lucky just to be able to see them in this video.
