Putting mine together now and everything is reasonably straight forward. I’m glad you showed the shifter mounted to the left. I must’ve spent 20mins looking at the orientation of right angle brackets and how they align to the uprights. They’re clearly designed for a right side mounting as they sit flush with the angled back upright extrusion, whereas on the left it doesn’t look as clean (my OCD). Other than that so far I can say this rig looks well worth the investment and I’m excited to put it to use. Alas it’s not a 13 min job 😂 so a few steps to go yet

Beautiful looking profile! But I literally just purchased the Seat Add-on to turn my Wheel Stand DD into a full GT Cockpit, which I absolutely love! LOL. Love from Canada
Purchased a dd1 podium hub and pre ordered the I-racing edition of this and can not wait only thing I would have liked is some drop down wheels for moving rig but it looks awesome so pumped for it

Seriously, you Queenslanders are killing me. I just upgraded my rig for my DD1 to your last brilliant "buggy" (it has wheels, a seat, and of course a steering wheel - therefore, it is a buggy) and now this. Grumble, grumble - old man yells at cloud... You take trade-ins right, sigh. 🙄 Perhaps I'll mount my G920 on the buggy because that totally needs a rock-solid rig that I absolutely have never used as a ladder to reach the vents in the ceiling. Anyway, this looks incredible; nicely done, guys! 👍🙃

Hi there, both work, it is really your personal preference. It comes back to how long your legs are and where you need the pedal plate to sit, as well as the position you are trying to achieve. There is really no wrong answer on where it sits.

Is it possible to mount a seat with bottom mounting points, instead of side mounts for bucket seats? Looking at this for double duty as a heli sim rig. Are there "brackets/kits" available that could be used and/or adapted for mounting an extended column joystick in front of the seat?
Hi there! Yes you can mount a bottom mounted seat as long as it has seat rails. The seat rails bolt to the extrusion that the side panels usually sit on. There is no Elite Flight Pack attachments at the moment, however, these could be developed in the future so stay tuned!

Yes, it is compatible. Please use the T-Nuts provided with the F-GT Elite Cockpit in the Fanatec GT DD Pro to match the M8 mounting holes in the Side Mount Brackets of the F-GT Elite Cockpit.
Good video but at 06:28 he's got it wrong. The pedal support bars are supposed to fit between the pedal plates. The guy bolts the supports in front of the forward pedal plate. You should edit the video.
@@NextLevelRacing Hi. I'm not sure what setup you are talking about but when putting this rig together, I used the included manual AND the video. I don't see why you would show a video with a different build than the manual. It is very confusing. If you can assemble it in two ways, it should be noted in the manual and both builds should be shown in the video. As an aside, if you put the support bars in front, the small notch in the pedal plate is now facing the wrong way so you would need to put the front pedal plate in reverse so that the small notch is facing the correct side. By the way I am very impressed by the build quality and sturdiness of this cockpit. Well done.
it's true. finally i got my setup. i had to raise my monitors high. i bought the original seat too. i'm happy and grateful! they provided everything for me, i didn't need it and didn't rack my brains! i would add: 1) company stickers 2) no iracing logo on the right side 3) in some cases the bolts were counted exactly (this is dangerous, anything can happen and you need to put 1-2 bolts extra) 4) 8:10 - 16 mm bolts and you need 20 mm!!! fortunately they were in the kit, i used them. i recommend fixing it

It looks like you're making it as much idiot proof as you can, but as a other guy said in your other video of the elite line up, include stronger washer as well as many things to make it sturdier and that make it easier to maintain. Love the rig BTW, although I wish I had money and that this government didn't make a stupid decision every time he takes a step.

Looks nice, but where I live it’s ¥130000 ($1,300 USD) without a seat…..that is way too much. Also, hopefully it’s better than the F-GT (regular)! That rig has continually disappointed me. Lost my faith in NLR. Definitely feels mass produced and low quality…..where I live it was expensive too. Gonna wait for some user review before even considering it.

I just opened my bag of bolts. Yellow oil is all over every bag. Half the labels on the bags of screws came off. Does everyone get oily bolts?
please make a video installing the the V3 seat mover and traction plus looks like a really good quality product
Saw a picture of it on Twitter. The seat mover raises the seat quite a bit. I think that would ruin formula seating position.
There is so much adjustability that you can easily raise everything to match the motions height and retain the Formula Position.

Hi there! It is highly adjustable, and the height can be changed but it is roughly 12 inches off the ground.
Do the pedal deck arms go in front or behind the first bar? This video shows arms in front. Instructions show arms behind the first pedal plate bar
