Nelson love the content. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have a 2005 5R110 that needs rebuilt so I’m doing a lot of research on what I should be looking for when I buy a rebuilt trans. I am intimidated from doing transmission work but I can rebuild motors, so it was an idea I was entertaining doing myself, might just leave it to the professionals though.
Hey Marco! How did this situation end up? I am looking at rebuilding/refreshing a 2005 myself right now. I'm gonna do the valve body but am wondering if it's worth also doing the torque converter without a full rebuild. I don't know about you but I had a lot of metal in my trans fluid :D
@@brendanchapman3 I ended up buying a used trans for $350 and putting it in. I looked up rebuilding everything and for the prices of everything I wanted to do it would’ve just been easier to buy a Warren trans. My used trans is holding up okay but I know it’s just a matter of time. If you’re finding metal in your trans it’s most likely from your clutch packs or torque converter.
What’s up Nelson, it’s Eli! Glad to see some videos again from yourself. Also, is your Snap On Parts Washer cleaning all your parts this much? Looks like you’re doing well for yourself!
Nelson, I have a 2006 f250 6.0 300k no issues with the transmission, and I am getting ready to do some work on the Engine. Would you suggest refreshing the transmission prior to the engine work or after? Also how long is turnaround?
Great channel title and I wish you well in your youtube endeavor. Cheers.

300k torqshift is awesome. Definitely would be worth going through since the truck would be down. Turn around on a bench build about a week.
Where do get your billet torque converter from ?
Cool
