The Minish Cap actually goes over Vaati's and the Four Sword's origins. As well, possibly the hat. (And Skyward is still great game to me.) And Triforce Heroes happens a year later after ALbW.
okay i havent finished the video yet, but i dont think ge realizes there are different links, theoughout the games for instance majoras mask link is not the same link as twilight princess

I've only roughly played a few of the GBA Zelda games, played like, who knows how long of the DS game after Wind Waker which I saw a playthrough of since I didn't have a Wii U, I plan to play Skyward Sword as soon as I can buy it somewhere. BOTW, well, let's hope I buy a switch in a year or so and the rest, well that's soon to be discovered so maybe I'll be lucky

I love Skyward Sword. it's my second favorite behind Breath of the Wild. I love Skyward Swords story and characters, if nothing else. I really like that it's the explanation of the beginning of Hyrule, I find I cool. plus NOSTALGIA! i'm only 13 so skyward sword is my childhood.

Breath of the Wild is in the child timeline, the reason I believe that because A) it states something about links journey in TP, and B) multiple things could trigger the koroks (my theory is the Koroks are the true form of the Kokiri and when Link in OOT was sent to the Kokiri forest, they had to morph into child-like beings)

I always thought BoTW was on the Wind Waker timeline. With the big gash along the north/west edge of the map being where Hyrule was cut away to sink beneath the waves, the massive drought mentioned during a side quest caused Hyrule to reemerge, and the heavy rains every 10 years that prompted the building of the East Reservoir was the gods trying to reseal Hyrule.
A Link Between Worlds plays after Links Awakening and the Oracle Series.

But wait, the Oracle Series is after Link's Awakening now.
Zeref and he mixed up the focuses of the Oracles series; Ages is more puzzle based (and therefore slightly easier) and Seasons is more action based (therefore more difficult.)

Definitely loved this video/review :) Also fully agreed with the attention given to Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, as they're both among my favourite Zelda games as well :D (cradles 3DS with both remakes~)
Not sure I'd put Twilight Princess down as just as LoZ clone, though. It does have some things of its own, and the ending is just hauntingly beautiful, I feel. Matter of taste, of course :)
Twilight princess is my favorite game but mostly because minda is my favorite companion and it was my first game
In Wind Waker, you and a confusing boat with really bendy wood (seriously, how does the King of Red Lions turn his neck and open his mouth and all that shit-- he's made of WOOD!!) summon the Washington Monument and collect little bits of Triangle Magic!
Also the entire world is flooded and the FISH people turned into BIRD people because yes.
I'm pretty sure it goes: LttP, the Oracle games (there's an official order you're supposed to play them in but I forget), LA, and then years later a future reincarnation (possibly a descendant) of Link is in LBW. Which leads to one part of the timeline canon that a lot of laymen seem to have trouble with: it isn't just one Link throughout all of the games, there are only very few (Lttp-Oracles-LA, OoT-MM, LoZ-AoL, WW-PH) that actually have the same Link between different games, in most of them it's just a new reincarnation every game. The reincarnation bit was officially established in SS.

Hey CK productions, for the timeline for breath of the wild. Like a whole new timeline, where all timelines are connected again. You are actually right. It has just been confirmed that the timeline for breath of the wild is an era where all the timelines has been connected again. More like the Rebirth era.

In ocarina of time you said they fight ganondorf and then ganon and then escape the castle. They actually escape the castle and then fight ganon. And Zelda sends link back in time to prevent any of the game from ever happening

In my opinion, Hyrule Warriors needs to be cannon since juste like OOT, it plays with the timeline from all 3 of the time splits so eventually merged all 3 times splits into one and BOTW would take place after.
So basically in every game link gets a sword and a shield and he goes on an adventure and then he does a bunch of stuff, saves the princess, doesn't kiss her, then repeats it all with slight differences
IMO, the best fix for the Zelda Timeline is to integrate two fan theories into canon. Specifically, (sorry too lazy to look up where I first heard this) alter the Downfall Timeline so it is not just Link randomly dies, but an alternate timeline where Zelda never got her dream about Link, and so she didn't help him, his quest stalled, and Ganondorf won; then, at the end of Zelda 2 Adventure of Link, have the ancient Zelda use the Triforce of Wisdom to send that dream back to the OoT Zelda, allowing the game to occur and the other two timelines to be created. Next step would be to recanonize Hyrule Warriors, and place BotW in the alternate Hyrule created by the events of that game. Still complicated, but more workable IMO.
