Superb Murray 😍..Loved it 😁..Love all the scrambles on Stob Dearg…The Lagangarbh Buttress is amazing 😁..Easy to come off the scramble route though and end up on a climb…My favourite is the great Gully Buttress..Fancy the North Buttress scramble ..Just out of my scramble league.Good to see you back on the Mountains 😁👍

Really enjoyed this one as always, beautiful day and something different on the ropes, Gerry looked pleased that you didn’t pull him off 🤣, love you and Gerry’s 360, looking forward to your Alps trip.
Absolutely tremendous 360 gent's! The pinnacle of mountaineering is surely a summit with such a stunning panoramic view, where you can identify neighbouring ranges & peaks. Thanks for your educational tour of the Highlands there!
Preparation, preparation, preparation. Here's to a successful trip to the alps Murray. I'm only mildly envious (not) and look forward to seeing your vlogs from there. Stay safe and have fun. ATB
that little joke at 10:09 with the wee cheeky grin afterwards lol - great vid and what a fantastic companion Gerry is - knowledgeable, experienced and funny!
Really enjoyed this one Murray. Great to see something different and some rope work. Did laugh out loud when you said, up the buttress 😂 I went a bit Sid James 😂. Anyway brilliant video as always and can’t wait for the Alps vlogs. Until the next one, take care and ATB
Oh l loved that Murray. I was there yesterday on a super day, not the Buachaille but across the road on the Staircase. Hope to get up the Buachaille not your route though, the tourist route 😉 love Gerrys banter. Thanks Murray Alioban
What a glorious day. I love hearing Gerry’s understated way of describing the route you are taking. All the lochans in the Glen looked so inviting. Thanks for taking us along! ATB
You had a nice day for a hike. Gerry is full of energy and knows the mountains like the back of his hand! It’s nice to hike with friends..safety in numbers too! Another great video and take care 🇨🇦❤️
Wow, we loved watching this video Murray. Great to see you back on the ropes with Gerry, it has been a long time but you seemed to pick right up where you left off😊👌. What a day you got for the climb too. Gerry's 360s are awesome! We are very jealous of such in depth knowledge of Scotland's mountains, amazing stuff 😊 ⛰️ . You must be very excited for your trip to the Alps, are you planning on making you tube videos of your climbs? We would love to see them. Thanks for taking us along on this one. ATB Shell and Pete
Thanks Folks - hoping the Alps will yield a video at some point in the future 👍 this was a great day on the Buchaille and Lagangarbh buttress is a really nice way up 👍👍 Take care Murray
It sure was a beautiful and scorching hot day up there lol even for the tourists ie Me :). Loving the new 360 commentary by Gerry lol as 'every little helps' me to try and remember and pronounce those gaelic summit names which to date eludes me and leaves my head spinning ATB and stay safe on your hols off camera :) M ☘️
Thanks Merky and really great meeting you up there on Friday evening - such a good weekend for the hills - let’s hope there are many more weekend line this for the rest of the year 🤞🤞🤞👍👍
Really enjoyed this one fantastic mountain for a walker like me, we did it after a full 24 hours of rain. The view over Rannoch was crystal clear but clouds were rolling over the ridges around Loch etive. Fantastic memories, I for one can highly recommend Gerrys book. Enjoy the Alps and keep up the fantastic work 👏.
"Have you lads been practicing?.. nobody told me!".... that made me chuckle Murray 😂 Looked brilliant and perfect conditions/location to sharpen up the skills. Here's hoping you've also packed a wingsuit for an alternative piece to camera on your holiday Murray 👌😬
wow the scenery and weather this day was absolutely incredible. loved watching the rope footage, something a little different that adds extra excitement to the video! thanks for sharing, can't wait for more adventures from you! 😇
That was a wealth of knowledge about all the mountains near the end there. Great to see some rope climbing. I like going up to the hills but I've no head for heights. Is it possible to climb up to the summit following a safe path ? Or are there drops. Also thanks for your last video. I did Ben macdui from linn of dee. I camped and went up the next day. By gosh what a walk. I was knackered but it was worth it. Clear skies, hot. Passed the tree where you put your bike. The video was really helpful so thanks.
Another cracking video with epic views. I've only walked up Stob Dearg once (the walking route, not the scrambling/climbing route) and I remember how amazing the view was. Are you creating videos when you are in the alps? Going anywhere specific?
Thanks Jules 👍 The Buachaille is an amazing view point - so close to Rannoch moor 👌 I’ll be taking the camera to the Alps so hoping for something resembling a vlog at some point 👍 catch up soon Murray
Nice to dust aff the climbing cobwebs Murray. Been years since I've climbed like... Prefer easier climbs like. Gerry kens his stuff eh....stunning day. 😎
I really enjoyed the vlog Murray 👌 it's on my to do list scrambling up the Buchaille 🏔 some cracking albeit scary views at times with the camera angle 😮 I loved listening to Gerry rhyming off all the peaks 🏔 great knowledge acquired over many years 😀 I hope you guys have a fantastic time in the Alps 🏔 I'm heading there myself in September, no ropes involved though, just a leisurely stroll around the Chamonix area over 3 days ....well at least I hope leisurely 😜 atb Brian 👍
Wow! What a stunning video- from the waving grasses at the start to the fantastic panoramic views and Gerry’s descriptions- Iloved every minute and watched with a broad smile on my face. Thank you for sharing your adventures . Enjoy your visit to the Alps “Stay safe out there” and hopefully you’ll take your cameras with you.😁⛰🏔😎
Great video! I assume I missed the crux with my 'wrong way' when I did it...is the crux after the biggest upper bump? (Sorry for the bad description 🤔)Looks almost as the gully is on your left down and the wet rock description fits as well 😂👍 Have a wonderful time in the Alps, looking forward to see hopefully some familiar mountains 🤞 Thanks Stripey
@@ScotlandsMountains oh, did I catch it wrong? I thought you would go and actually wanted to ask you into which region...heading to Germany soon unfortunately for work, family,...so I won't have time this time. The good thing is I have already the permission as soon as it fits timewise 😃
A fine double act 🧗♂️🧗♂️ on a truly fantastic mountain 🏔 it was a scorcher ☀️ i seen that green rope from the CMD ARÊTE 😆 apologies for knocking on your van door on saturday night i had to bump into you at some point you look a lot younger in the flesh 🤪 great vid enjoy the alps guys 🏔 🏔 🏔 😎

Gerrry looks the part as a Widerness guide with his beasty off roader and knowledge of the fauna😊.

Was up the Buchallie last Thursday. Spectacular climb and that was me going the normal route
As you said, so many great scrambles and climbs on the Buchaille.
Brilliant weather, great views.

Amazing stuff Murray... I wanna come do this with you guys!
Best, from a rainy Perth 🇦🇺
That looked like a brilliant day. I'm slowly improving my trad climbing in the hopes of doing routes like that.

I was sent to Immediate Assessment Unit at QEUH on Friday Murray. Knees showing sign of infection!!
hope you are ok and get the knees sorted Douglas
What an amazing hike. I've still to do this one. I'm assuming the route most hikers take is via the corrie near the white house?
Hi Marco - yes thats correct the normal path goes up through the corrie :)
Fantastic view at the top and Gerry has definitely nailed the Gaelic pronunciation of those mountains! Were there any Irn Bru jelly babies this time?
Sold out 😵💫😂😂
Ah that’s a shame. If possible I’d love to see them feature in as many videos as possible! 😂
