Great to see you both out adventuring again Murray, really enjoyed it! That route looks amazing with some snow, will need to try it one day 😁 Atb, James
Have heard the approach into SCNL as The HurtLocker . Always makes me smile. Really do work up a head of steam. Missed my Scottish trips last Winter. Great to see a bit here. take care A.
Murray, your enthusiasm and excitement at being back on the hill in such stunning conditions are infectious. I defy anyone who has watched this not to have been moved. Really well filmed and edited as usual. Good job 👍👍😃
I've been away from Scotland living in Borneo for nearly 30 years and this video near brought me to tears. So beautifully wild. Thank you kindly for sharing these incomparable views gents.
Oh my !! You're back. I know just how you feel. I'm stay just outside the Glencoe area,, and no prizes to guess where my first tip was when rules were lifted. The joy was hardly a soul about. Thanks to you and Gerry for a lovely wee adventure, take care both of you xx
It was so good to get back :) we met a few people on the way back but not as busy as I thought it would be . Was up Ben Nevis on Friday though and never seen it so quiet 🤫 not sure that’ll be the case this weekend tho ! 😂 Thanks for watching ATB Murray
It's SO GOOD to get back out. My legs have some catching up to do. That day looks absolutely stunning for a lot of reasons. Good to see you back. I just did 2 wild camps to get back in the hills . That hidden Valley looks good for that! Cheers Murray
Finally allowed back out together- it was a long time coming!! The fish eye 360 lens isn't everyone's cup of tea but it makes filming a lot easier - especially when hands are required to climb the mountain (plus the fact that I smashed my good camera on a trip last week !! - Doh ) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Love your films, I am also a film maker and I know all the hard work you put into your videos, ie choosing and setting up all your camera positions then having to double back to pick up the cameras also carrying a drone with you, all extra work but it's worth it I also see you use radio mics for excellent sound quality. Then there is the editing which takes hours to achieve to obtain your high standard. Your films are excellent and now that I am 80 I don't do the higher peaks ( bad knees now on the decents) . Keep your videos coming they're a tonic for all of us who love and appreciate the mountains.
Thanks David, its nice to see the background work being appreciated :) some days the edits are easier than other days depending on how much time I can put in !lol Hope you enjoy the videos :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray

Really enjoyed watching this. And I love the brightly-coloured clothing! I love climbing and scrambling, but I have to admit, snow on very steep mountains makes me nervous. I prefer watching others do these kind of winter climbs.
Thanks Rob - hope you enjoyed it - I am making the most of being out and about again - don't think my wife has seen me at the weekends since lock down lifted !! Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Lovely to see the "steaming boots team" back out in the hills again! Loved this video, thank you for bringing us the last views of the snowy mountains as we head into spring! We will look forward to lots more of your adventures and fantastic videos to come!
Thanks :) Still time for snowy hills - lots of pictures on social media this week of the higher tops still getting a dusting of the white stuff :) I was on The Ben last week and lots of snow up high which was lovely to see , seeing as I missed nearly all of the winter fun :( Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray

P.S. I never noticed Gerry's watch (waterproof to how many fathoms? Scottish weather, I hope so)
Truly amazing, Murray! Please don’t stop filming your hikes & camps, they really are inspiring. I have a long list of places to explore because of your videos. Cheers, Mari
Great video Murray, haven't walked in Glen Coe since 2018 as i've been focusing on the Cairngorms the last couple of years but this has reminded me of how great and accessible these hills are....cheers.

Great to see Steaming Boots on another wintry adventure 👍 Given the temperatures this month and the snow over the winter there must be a chance of a snowy gulley this weekend 🤞
Reckon there could still be a chance - was up The Ben at the weekend and lots of snow still in the high gullies - unfortunately the temperature on Friday meant I stuck to the ridges and crossed the softer snow ASAP! :) A good freeze over night might sort that though :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Nice to see you making the most of the last bit of snow! Now we’ve been granted our freedom I’ll be planning some gentle jaunts of my own, might see you out there!

I think I have been out every weekend day since we were let back out and been searching the high spots for some snow on every occasion so you will probably see a wee bit more snow in the upcoming vlogs - if I can get them edited!1 headed out again tomorrow so may even get more snow - lot sof pictures of spring snow on the hills this week on SM :) Hope you are enjoying your new abode Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
