Very solid track, very nice and chill. Some of the sounds and the overall style has me thinking about a japanese style i've come across. No idea what it's called, but this sounds really great. How do you find the vocoder effects of the Kaossilator Pro? Cheers from Denmark ^^
Thank you, Fiftyfiveguy, DJDrDerek, lekast! I record the audio using the line out from my digital piano into the line in of the Kaossilator Pro. KPRO can record external sources (convenient considering it's hard to be accurate on the touch pad). I think L032 has become one of my favorites too ;)
@StarmanDeluxe2001 How long has the KAOSSILATOR Pro been out i hav to get me one of thoso and can u plz metion how much there cost is. O yea and u did GREAT!!!
Hey, try switching the input lever at the top of the KoPro to "input mic" and make sure you are on the vocoder patches, they start with "U185". Also make sure the mic is on. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure
@airborne12321 Hi airborne, I thought I posted a reply but I guess it didn't go through. I am using a pentatonic scale I think, but the main loop of this is my own composition that I sampled myself on, so it can't be played just with the KoPro ;)
Sweet. How do you change loop trigger to go/pause/go? Mine is at the default go from start and if stopped, go from start again. Clever to isolate chordal parts in a loop, then a key change in another loop.
Hi! can a question how do you recorded this? I mean did you use an interface or something like that to process the sounds from line out of the Kaossilator?
Can you plz tell me the chords you used for the piano part I want to understand FreeTempo music, but I need some references, I have been looking all over youtube for FreeTempo tutorials and found very little.

asd Tekola Honestly I didn't write the chords down, I just improvised. I'd suggest trying to go by ear, or just keep listening to similar jazzy styles over and over like I did ;)
11 years later and this is masterful... great work

I like the breakdown at 3:31 pretty legit
favorited.
@StarmanDeluxe2001 Perhaps the notesheet would do. Before you recorded it to the KO-PRO, did you write the notes..?
"All our operator are busy, please hold on the line and will will be attended"... ;)
@th3th0mas thanks but I'm already buying one today...

how did u get the piano in there?
Omg I love FreeTempo dude. Did u make the piano or bass samples your self?
Piano, yes (you can see the piano I used in the video). Bass is played from the internal Kaossilator sounds and looped.
