My grandfather had a similar compressor like that back in the 70s. My dad has that in his possession and will probably restore it someday in the near future. Nicely done!
I actually forgot them, I did put them in before the actual test. I have a small tray with all the screws and nuts and noticed the spares... Good eye there buddy!
Wow cool old compressor 👍 looks like it had seen a lot of work in its life. The motor purrs like a kitten now. Can't wait to see the rest of the project come together.
Great video, good project for restoration, that’s when the made something simple but very effective for small projects at home or work.keep on doing what your doing and carry on 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Yes, more description of the item, how old it is, how did you get it, why is it needing restoration are all interesting. Perhaps captions instead of narration. Keep it up!
Of all the things you restore, electric components are the ones I fear and hesitate to dive into... My dad was an electrical guy and by younger brother is also an electrical guy... I am NOT... fear of that is part of it, but to be honest, there are a few things I have tried to fix and with great success, but electrical things such as this litter my failure piles. Learning a good bit watching how you dive in! Keep it up. Videos are great.
While watching your excellent videos I got a thought, you give Adendorf plenty advertising, why don’t you approach their HO and see if they will maybe sponsor you with some machines, you would probably give a lathe and mill good use🧐👍
The only thing that I can think of is that maybe you could do is talk about the project you are working on. It's up to you young man 😎 otherwise.keep doing what you are doing

Enjoyed watching the restoration and listening to the big storm passing over. Take care.
You know it would be good for safety and for those cables to be screwed in you know 17:07

Will do!

My father had one of those! He used it for air up tires for a long time, but that was about it.
that was certainly filled with mold!
I was wondering what that was?
Good job and nice finish 💪👍

nice restoration, great job
Good morning from Southeast South Dakota
Great job👍
cool video, but arent u worried about getting sand blast media into the bearings on your motor?
I did not blast the bearings, they were still good to use.
Nice job!

I don't know if it's the motor, but the modern ones have a wave spring washer to avoid that axis swing.
When he grabbed the gasoline I was waiting for the Uncle Rob approach.
Buen aparato!
Y el mantenimiento al comprrsor?.....
Very nice
Can you tell me what is the reason for that spring behind the motor?
Great question.....It's a centrifugal switch for induction motors invented by Royal Lee. His patent was granted May 31, 1927. Patent number 1,630,394
Thanks for sharing i can search more now
Good afternoon from Grahamstown South Africa
Hello van Pretoria! Ek hoop julle braai lekker die naweek ;-)

Ek stem 100% saam. Ek sal die Brannas bring!🍻
Why is the belt wheel the other way round ? It was different when you took it apart ;)
Any idea what the green crud was inside? It almost look the same color as corroded copper, but why is it a dusty powdery layer?
Eu fiz um mini compressor de ar ficou bom

Thanks for the heart young man 😎
I have a twin cylinder of one of those and don't know what to do with it...
I used it for bicycle tires when I was young..
Why did you reverse the pulley orientation?
You got the inverted pulley
Buen trabajo. Pero la polea la montaste al reves de conforme estaba montada en origen
Anyone else nervous when he had gloves on 2mm from the brush wheel?
👍
Surprised people aren't freaking out you used gasoline to clean!
The painting needs improvement, but the process is good.
جميل😎
Y porque tres cables
а разбирать то зачем? Можно и так помыть и покрасить, он все равно рабочий!
Répétition de gestes inutiles. Après le premier boulon on sait comment les autres se retirent.
use mineral spirits NOT gasoline!!!!!!!
Good Restoration 👍🏼
