DUE TO A debilitating illness or three, I have returned to scale modelling and started sculpting and painting polymer clay as both a hobby and mental therapy. I have been getting into modelling as therapy since I left the military due to medical reasons. Your channel has been a wealth of information and makes me excited to learn airbrushing and experiment with some of the paints you have reviewed. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise. Keep up the great work!
Hello there Keith my friend, congratulations you were picked as the winner of this compressor & airbrush combo. Contact me using the email address in the description above and I'll get your info and send it out to you. Robert AKA Barbatos Rex
Did modelling back in the in 1985 my grandparents got me a model most weekends as a young boy, now 50 and I'm back modelling again with fond memories of doing models round my grandparents and hanging them on my grandparents bedroom ceiling until one or two decided to fall of the ceiling and go on a bombing raid on my grandparents bed I just wish we had great channels like this back then I can't tell you how much help it has been to have you channel to turn to, thank you for all you hard work
I have been collecting models since 1975. As a disabled vet, I'm just now starting to put some of my models together, my model skills are up there, but you have truly done things I've never thought of, now since I watch your channel, I take my modeling to a new level. Thanks for All you do!
I bought one of these compressors from amazon a few months back under the "Fengda" brand for £75 pounds sterling. I've had it four months now and it is a great little compressor. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to take their first steps in airbrushing as you can also buy them with an airbrush and starter kit also. Love the channel Barbatos....keep em vids coming fella. ;-)
Well I'm glad there was more to the video! I'll repeat what I said on the previous upload. I just wanted to say thanks. I recently got back into rc car building again after 25+ years and after watching more than a few of your videos I was able to find some products that helped me out and that I was very pleased with. I was thinking about possibly getting into air brushing and here you go with this video. You do amazing work man keep it up!
Barbatos, I am FREAKING out~! I would swear I already commented here and SAW this video already. My history shows no other viewing and YT indicated I hadn't "watched" this one. Is this a 'do-over' with the original removed? Did I DREAM this?!? I really appreciate your reviews of tools, especially airbrushes and compressors as I am getting ready to jump back into models, painting, terrain building, etc. I would SWEAR I saw this exact same video two or three days ago, pretty much word for word, image for image. Like I said, I'm slightly freaking out, because if you didn't air this, remove it and re-place it online, then I need to join the Psychic Network! Just for reference, I haven't built or made anything for nearly two decades. I have never had an airbrush and only have my OLD gear from when I was a teenager (62 now). Keep up the efforts! It IS appreciated!
As much as I really only paint minis and busts these days I find your channel to be one of the best ones for anyone in any area of the paining/model area. Your honest reviews are always on point!
I'm new to Gunpla and your videos have been a great reference for the craft. I appreciate what you're doing for the modeling community. I just want to thank you for doing what you do and I look forward to future uploads.
your videos have been monumental in deciding the paints and tools to buy for a beginner trying out airbrushing. very glad i found your channel. your hard work is very much appreciated 👏
I was wondering what happened last night! Your videos are amazing! You motivated me to get back into scale modeling. Can't say enough good things about your channel.
I watch your videos every week and you have taught me so many valuable lessons not only with how to airbrush and mix paint but more importantly how to save money and buy quality products. THANK YOU!
So grateful after 50plus yrs I've found my modeling again, Its that missing link I needed. This Compressor & Airbrush would bring so much to my reborn hobby especially what I've learned watching this Stellar Channel!.
I really appreciate your fair and balanced testing procedures, especially as they relate to paints, airbrushes and compressors. Keep up your important observations to assist us in the modelling community. You're saving us dollars and headaches! All the best!
Haven’t built a model since a bottle of pactra paint was something like 35 cents😂! Now that I can afford the tools that I could only dream of as a kid, this is very encouraging gateway into getting back into the hobby.
Been watching your channel for over a year. Unique approach on paint and tools for modelers. I take your recommendations seriously. Keep up the great work.
Aloha from Maui. Used to build models when i was a young boy. Just started to collect them again and started my first build..just need to find time and get consistent days off . Great channel. Very informative.
I finally got my first airbrush over the holidays, and your videos have been huge in helping me troubleshoot acrylic painting with it. Thanks for being so informative and thorough!
I too have a noname Compressor and using it since 7 Years 2 to 3 times a week for 2 Hours at most each session. The unit holds well. Seeing You doing Your magic always thrills me to get to that standard.
I'm very impresed with this set up I need a set up. If I don't win it I'll stil need to try to get one. Thanks for the opportunity to win it. Have a good one
That was really nice of you to do😊❤ Hoping your kind gesture helps Keith find the outlet he needs, and that the same kindness returns back to you and your loved ones Robert🙂
At 50+ years old I'm just getting back into model making since I was a kid. I struggle with wanting to learn more before I start and just starting and learning as I go. I have found your videos and information simple but yet very informative. Thank you!
I just dipped my toes into Gunpla in December and I've been consuming a lot of videos about modeling equipment and tips and yours have been some of the best! Definitely stuff I can see myself coming back to to review over the years if I stick with it. Really interested in getting into painting and airbrushing eventually so this video in particular is helpful for lowering the perceived barrier of entry.
hi first one of your vids i have seen , i am looking to getting a compressor to try airbrushing , i saw that you were testing a timbertech i was on to your video immediatly, enjoying so far thanks john h
As always, a great video. Lots of DETAIL that so many other ‘TH-camrs’ skip or gloss over. I paused this video to switch to Amazon and order the compressor/tank. Price had already increased, and inventory was at ‘2’. Thanks! Also,
Hi Robert, I just wanted to say Thank You for this review. I was on the fence between the Timbertech and the Vivohome compressor. USPS delivered the Timbertech compressor & the Neoeco airbrush today, 1/24. The compressor is quiet & runs the airbrush just fine. I am very impressed & happy with my purchase. $125 and I am back in the airbrushing business with good equipment. Thanks again for all you do in these reviews.
You are the best airbrush and modeler help youtuber on the site. My goto for a review on any paint, product, airbrush, or airbrush maintenance. Keep it up. You are my spirit animal among airbrushing youtubers. Much love.
I’m building my first model in over 35 years (1958 Corvette by Revell). Your videos have been extremely helpful with selection of paints, airbrush, supplies, etc… Thanks for sharing!
I’ve been using the 240v uk version of this since august and have zero complaints. I’d previously been using a tankless compressor and I don’t paint enough to justify a bigger/more expensive compressor.
I’m pretty much brand new to airbrushing & your videos have been so helpfull and I really appreciate you for everything I've learned from you. I originally bought one of those $70 during the lockdown but the gun never worked properly so I got frustrated after a few months of the constant clogging-cleaning-clogging go 'round but I never stopped watching your videos. I was eyeballing the Iwata Neo until I saw your video on the Neoeco & when someone asked me what I wanted for xmas that was the one & only thing I asked for and oh boy! Sprays great, never clogs, cleans so easy - I am soooooo glad I watch your videos👍👍👍👍 The one thing about it I can't figure out is how to attach the hose to the rechargeable battery power compressor from my first one. Maybe it's missing a fitting in not aware of. Anyway, I'm sure that with all your commenters I have about zero chance in this g'way but man would it be great to have a legit compressor like this. Anyway, thank you & please keep up all the great work!!!
I've said this before but ill say it again, your vids are great! I realize that your videos take a lot of time and preparation just to answer some questions we have and don't think your work has gone unappreciated! your videos have help me immensely whether its monetarily or info wise! thanks so much
Coming to your channel for the first time a couple days ago. I have brush painted war game miniatures for a long time. Never thought using an airbrush was necessary. Been binging your videos for the last two days!! So much great content on here. Can’t say thank you enough for opening a whole new world to me in this amazing hobby!!
Starting airbrushing in the new year. Using it to dye leather rather than models, but your videos on the equipment and technique have been so valuable.
This channel is such a wealth of information, I've been binge watching your videos for days to prepare myself to get into airbrushing properly after a few years of just snapbuilding. Love the no nonsense style of the videos, it gets straight to business and shows exactly what it needs to show.
My man stay with some great reviews and giveaways. I come to this man’s channel so much to see how a paint looks before I buy even buy it. Greatest video till this day was him doing every AOK paint I took a screenshot of all those spoons for future reference. Plus those Gundam Pros UV liners bought every single one. Thanks for the videos BRex keep it up.
Definitely appreciate how quiet those compressors are. My current one came from the same place you got your Fortress from and I have to use foam earplugs when I'm using it.
Watching channels like this is what got me back in scale modeling (my youth's hobby which was too expensive for me back then)... Keep it up buddy with high content quality videos
I would just like to thank you so much for your videos. I had no clue how to airbrush before I started watching you. Now it's crazy how far I have come. All because of you!
Thank you for the great information. I’ve been airbrushing for about 30 years, but I still learn something new every time I watch your videos. Keep up the good work!
Very helpful video just getting into model making an airbrushing trying to decide what compressor to get was actually looking at this one on Amazon. I’ve seen a couple of your videos very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you! I have been toying with the idea of getting a airbrush setup. Now I know to invest in the airbrush and I can save a crap load in the compressor.
Not a long time subscriber but I have been following you for a couple of months and going back to watch old videos. Thank you for getting me comfortable with Mr Hobby colors for sure really liking those.
Major thanks for this. Just recently picked up miniature painting and am looking into picking up an airbrush. I live in a condo with downstairs neighbors so sound level being quiet is a must. Cheers!
I am just getting tonto airbrushing and your reviews and videos in general have been amazing. I actually purchased a few of the items in your videos from Hobby Lobby over this past weekend. Thank you for all of your hard work my friend!
I love watching your videos and even going back and watching your videos from years ago. I'm just now getting back into the hobby after many years away from it so your videos have been very helpful. I'm 58 y/o and it's amazing the things that have changed since I was a youngster putting models together and what they are now so thanks 😊 for all your videos 📹!!!
this airbrush 12:30 is for wide areas the normal airbrush pistols ar to draw to paint like a pensile. this one her is like the industry ones for biger areas faster . both ar very usefull. one for biger faster things and one for the smaler details.
Thanks for this review, i bought this compressor and love it. I cannot emphasize enough how quiet this is. So much quieter than it sounds on the video.
Aaaaand,i just saw your new video explaining what happened.... Your videos, among others, are my favourite to watch, seriously. I've learned a couple of things and man, i thank you for that. Keep posting videos, you got us aaaaall
Thanks for the review. I'm stuck home for a few months for health reasons and am looking to add a compressor and airbrush to my maker kit. I've been eyeing similar on Amazon and you have given me the confidence to make a purchase. Cheers
It's reviews like this that make me love this channel. You show that you do not need 10 grand worth of equipment to enjoy the hobby. I have never airbrushed before but this may make me.
I use your reviews for picking out my wishlists and getting decent equipment and paints on my very limited budget. Thank you so much for all your hard work.
Been building gunpla for years without doing full on paint jobs and your videos have been a great resource in my research into airbrushes and gear to make the leap into full paint jobs. Keep up the good work
I am not after winning a thing sir 😇, but your channel was instrumental enticing me back into modelling after a 20 yr break. With the spare room now empty I bought a bench and over 8mnths went on a spending spree , mostly with Airfix as I am in the UK, I even purchased the " Dora " and was lucky enough to secure dozens & dozens of Humbrol tin oil paints before they stopped making them. Never used a Airbrush before, but watched your vids and practiced on anything I could lay my hands on & went overboard buying a spray booth as well. Tools/puttys/stands/extra decals etc etc ...I was like a kid let loose in a sweetshop buying 1/24 scale planes I had only dreamed of. My bench & shelves look like a model shop and I count 44 unmade kits ranging from 1/72-1/24.....I would open the spare room door and look at " My Precious " hobby all gleaming n looking smart while I was drooling knowing that Jan/Feb will see me having all the time I need to get serious/funky with my modelling again. My son split up with his fiancé last week & asked to move back home into the spare room😳🥺😭......FFSK is the no justice in this world !!!
GREAT VIDEOS IVE LE A LOT AS A MODEL BUILDER OVER THESE 62 YRS LOOKING FOR A GOOD AIR COMPRESSOR AT A LOW PRICE. BEING ON A SOCIAL SECURITY INCOME MAKES IT TUFF.BUT I ALWAYS ENJOYED THIS GREAT HOBBY.GREAT CHANNELYOU HAVE FOR US MODEL BUILDERS KEEP UP THE VIDEOS.
I’m new to the airbrush community and I bought a Paasche TG talon that broke at the nozzle and the needle bent the first day of use. I could definitely use this setup.
I have started airbrush and modeling recently because of your videos, you it made look easy. I also find your videos to be practically informative and I really like your modeling accessories reviews, which very helpful to me if I want to up my game with accessories are worth the buck. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the inspiration to just get into modeling. Working on my 5th project, building skills to make the car I really want to be nice. Showing my kids what’s possible.
Great video. Couldn't wait when you mentioned this compressor. Ordered it couple weeks ago and got it today. Also got the Neoeco airbrush kit. I really liked the replaceable different sized cups. They have extra needles & nozzles & other parts on their Aliexpress store. Talked to them over the weekend and they said they'll have parts on Amazon in the future. Nice people to talk with. Don't need your giveaway since just got what I need for my project. Thanks for always writing me back. Helped alot getting my project going.
Love the channel. I subscribed a few weeks ago because I want to get into airbrushing in 2023 but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Looking forward to learning more.
I had the previous version of this without the fan and with the moisture trap directly on the front of the tank. Got rid of it cuz the way the moisture trap was on the tank I noticed it would rust up so I didn't feel safe keeping it. It was like $58 so not a huge loss. Love that it looks like they fixed that issue.
I first found your channel a few months ago while looking for how to do chrome paint. What's kept me coming back is your constantly upbeat and positive attitude, the thoroughness of your tutorials/reviews, and (of course) all the reviews of stuff that I never even knew existed😊
Thanks for the reviews! For someone who doesn't have a lot of $$ to dish out, always keeping an eye out for something affordable that isn't a piece of junk. Keep the vids coming!
Feel sorry for you that those scammers are haunting your channel and thank you so much for thinking of the genius way to avoid them. The heart that you put into your videos really show how much dedication and caring to your audience, thank you!!!
There on all channels unfortunately
I love it gets the job done

Now that I have a bit of money to spend on it, BRx has saved me from a couple of money wasting purchases, helping me to get more and better stuff with what I spend.

Love the channel Barbatos....keep em vids coming fella. ;-)
You are honestly one of the only hobby channels i watch for tools and such. I hope you keep it up and continue to keep pushing out content.

Just took delivery of this very same unit and so far it is flawless. Thanks for the review.

Much appreciated my friend 👍
I am new to airbrushing, and find myself watching your channel more and more.. Great format and very informative for newbies.
Looks like a nice unit. ThinkingI want to get in to scale modelling again.
Welcome back my friend
this airbrush 12:30 is for wide areas the normal airbrush pistols ar to draw to paint like a pensile. this one her is like the industry ones for biger areas faster . both ar very usefull. one for biger faster things and one for the smaler details.
Thanks for this review, i bought this compressor and love it. I cannot emphasize enough how quiet this is. So much quieter than it sounds on the video.
Thank you for the consideration you’ve shown to prevent spammers. First time here and I very much enjoy your content.
Aaaaand,i just saw your new video explaining what happened.... Your videos, among others, are my favourite to watch, seriously. I've learned a couple of things and man, i thank you for that.

These are the type of vids, a beginner needs, keep it up
I greatly appreciate your videos reviewing various hobby products, and look forward to them in the future.
Keep up the good work
This is good to know. My current air comp is on it's way out and I will take your word on anything. You da man.
My brother was just talking about this setup and glad to see you review it
Watching your videos has gotten me into the airbrushing hobby so I thank you.

I like your reviews on supplies - makes it easier to choose stuff to get
Got back into airbrushing and found many of your paint reviews helpful
Trying to learn more about painting with an airbrush. Its really helpful that you share your knowledge with the rest of us. Thank you.
I came back to Painitng at the beginning of Covid, Your videos have been great in choice of paints and accessories, keep up the good work
Great video.
Great review as always. I have ordered and use a plethora of items in which you have reviewed. Thanks so much.
You're welcome Michael, I'm doing my best here for you guys, it's a great product
I got into model making recently and love your tutorials. Some of the techniques are so effective and affordable
