I So understand cleaning the house to make it feel comfortable & able to live in until you can do the fixes.
My hubby & I went thru the same thing last June & July. Got rid of the nasty curtains, cleaned floors / kitchen & bathrooms, repainted three rooms before we brought in our belongings & eventually furniture. Finished painting by labor day. Since then we had the master bedroom suite remodeled - best thing ever!
I was so excited to see a new video and it was so satisfying. It reminded me of my moving days. You are doing a beautiful job and nothing is meant to be finished in a day and it's a good thing because it means more content to look forward to😊

More power to you both it’s so exciting watching a young family starting life in your first home, just take it easy on yourselves there is plenty of time to get all the renovations done .
So far as your dryer goes I live in a 1982 home and what we did for our dryer plug is that we just switched out the plug to the dryer that is way more easier than switching the outlet and that's something you can just buy and it's really simple to do just suggesting I'm not sure what kind of wash and dry you have but I have a LG
Just came across your videos and for the one where you organized the kitchen cabinets - I would buy a new broom and mop from the Dollar Store to clean the back of the cabinets as you don’t know how long they have not been cleaned and you said you couldn’t reach. Just an idea and that may give you peace of mind.
If your dryer came with a 4 prong cord you can buy a 3 prong cord at Home Depot and change out the cords, no electrician needed. Only homes built in the last 20 years have a 4 prong dryer outlet.
Yes I was going to comment the same thing they just need to buy the correct cord to change it too

Buckey was all in Madeleine’s way while she was trying to help unpack the suitcase into the dresser lol .
I also did the same paint all over my house and depending on the room the color changes, in my bathroom it looks pinkish where as in the living room its a light beige, I think its a combo of the previous color and lighting.

Hey, I don’t know if this is the case for y’all. We have had to change the plug for our dryer when we moved into our house. I don’t know what the difference was but you can got to Lowe’s and they can show you the two different type of plugs you can get for a dryer.
Hi Allison, Swiss Coffee does have a tint to it and depending on lighting it may reflect tint more or less.

How's bucky- he I guess would have had an adventure in a new space
We have chosen a color called “silver cloud” in one of our rooms. And the color changes so much depending on the light and contrasting details. Love the time of day it almost appears to be green. We’re going to have it another room as well where the light is different and the furniture/details will be darker.
Allison, did you get a Home Warranty for one year from the sellers? If you did check with the home warranty regarding what it covers? Maybe your dishwasher is covered.
Hi Allison Not always but sometimes leaves inside can be a sign of mice bedding. It happened to us once. I hope that is not the vase. Love watching you videos. Maddie is adorable.

The bedroom does look yellow.
I think your bedroom seems more yellow because your dresser is so white. More white than your walls.
