    Nice work on the scooter restoration 💯. You can fix the your exhaust problem by bending the header pipe with some heat . IDK Chinese scooters & modifications go hand to hand lol. 🎬🙆👍

    Nice setup. Sounds exactly like the one I had. I ended up putting 5,000+ miles on my Taida 171cc kit cast piston with stock head and block off plate.. I had dual shocks but call me crazy I removed them and threw a shorty on the cvt side and lowered it. I always recommend Rolling Wrench. Matt and the gang are awesome.Cheers

      Thanks and yea it doesn't sound terrible and runs good with the 171 forged kit. Still waiting on the body panels tho.

    Sounds like you know your stuff and you got tetta is the best got a nice flat side carburetor and I do agree with you 32 on the pilot jet I do that to all my carburetors no matter what size cylinder is and the idle perfect

      @2FrEsH4ya617 Hey there I live here in Colorado at 6200 ft above sea level. It made a night and day difference. I'm 185lbs and usually ride with stuff in my back pack. I have hit 67. I'm sure it would be a lot faster down where you live if there is enough gear. I have the 171 kit with the cam and big valve head, 28mm carb, ncy direct ignition, ncy cdi, ncy drive face and 1500 clutch and contra springs, oko variator and clutch, ban jing clutch bell. Next I might try the light weight clutch pulley and lightweight flywheel and see if i get any more out of it.

      @@stewartrhaines nice I have basically the same setup just minus the 171cc big bore kit… I have 12g sliders and 30mm cvk hoca carburetor with stock jets I’m thinking about just re jetting it to 120 main 32 pilot that what everyone says to do but I just put the carb on without changing the jets no bogging rides fine but I feel with the right jets I’ll get to atleast 65 top downhill lol with the 171cc I should hit 70-75 mph that’s what people are ruckshop have told me a while back

      I stopped around a 115 main jet with the nibbi intake tube. Without the tube on it needs a bigger jet 120 seemed to be the sweet spot but was still running a tad bit to much fuel

    Did you opt for the 171cc cam as well as the bore? I just got a new taida bore kit because my 150cc had no compression when I bought it. Also, have you noticed a difference in mpgs? My scoot is fuel injected and I didn't have a chance to ride it stock. Good video!

    • @RspecNick

      Definitely got the Taida T100 can and I'm actually tracking mpg now I filled the tank on I wanna say Saturday so I'll fill it tomorrow and let you know what I'm sitting at mpg wise. It was definitely a bump in power

      @@RspecNick sweet, let me know how it goes. I am also curious about the direct ignition coil upgrade by NCY for these scooters. It should help with overall efficiency and maybe a noticeable bump in power. Cars see around 10% power increases but for a scooter any bit helps, right?

    • @RspecNick
      @RspecNick  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@leveluplife8585just got done getting gas so at 70miles I used 1.39 gallons of gas. Keep in mind that's being wide open throttle for more then 80-90 percent of the time so with normal driving I could easily see 70+mpg. I am thinking of running the NCY direct ignition but I'm worried it won't mesh with the DC system.

    • @RspecNick

      @@RspecNick yeah, spirited driving/late braking doesn’t help but I drive like that too. I only hear good things about the NCY direct coil and I think that’s my next mod, just got my 169cc bore installed on my kymco. Started super easy with the efi on it!

    They make a fat tire head and some are listed for b series. Your S/N on the engine will have a b and they tend to be 150 to 223cc.

    • @RspecNick
      @RspecNick  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was going to run a fatty setup but I heard you have to delete the second shock with that and honestly it handles pretty good the way it sits so if I want better grip I'll probably just grab a good tire probably some Michelin city grips
