Stillness is the perfect word for why Winter is my favorite season. For me the stillness equals peace and quiet which is needed is so much of our lives.
Hi Carla, you love in such beautiful surroundings ❤ Opi the bunny is adorable. We had rabbits for many years, each with their own personality. The cardigan for your Grandson is lovely ❤
Hi Carla. Happy April! What a lovely video...mother nature never dissapoints..even when it's disrupting of plans. Loved the cardinal for the finish. Have a great week
Hi Carla, So enjoyed your video. That little Opie is too cute!! I love Milford Market, I have gotten so many great treasures there myself! Thanks for taking us along.
Lovely walk through nature. Your eggs looked beautiful and I enjoyed the trip to the antique store. Until next time, happy week. We will be enjoying the total eclipse on monday, praying for a sunny day!
Carla, you are blest with a beautiful historic home and grounds!!! I would be most interested to have you film the construction of your chicken coop and chicken care should you and Mark decide to move forward with it again. Chickens always has been on my bucket list. That antique shops looks filled with goodies.
Absolutely beautiful sights and sounds. Happy Easter! Admittedly jealous of the gorgeous church building! We’re a five-year church-plant from a bigger church and meet in a charter middle school in Los Angeles! Although blessed to have that spot, and as director/pastor of kids’ ministry. Loved to see my favorite carnations and go antiquing with you. Theodore’s sweater is beautiful. I want to thank you for my lovely Nauset Light Beach 8x10 print. It’s perfect in the newly curated spot I created. Makes me so happy! Blessings to you! Debbie in L.A.
I agree, that Church is beautiful.....rather unique for our typical (beautiful) white steepled Churches here in New England. I'm so glad you are enjoying your print. When I received those, I was so happy because it's hard to tell quality sometime from an Online picture. She sent them so beautifully packaged too, you can tell she is proud of her work. Have a wonderful week Debbie!
Oh! Carla, I forgot to thank you for the wonderful surprise of the floral postcard, included with my print order! Guess what?! I actually collect vintage postcards and display them seasonally (and all the time) on vintage metal flower frogs. The one from you has those beautiful red, white, and blue flowers and will be on my dark mahogany mantelpiece all summer long, next to the little plaster sailor and small flags. Can’t wait!
Hi Carla wishing you and your family a Happy Easter. Love the little cardigan you made for your baby Grandson, so cute love the colours. The litte bunny Oppy (I hope right spelling) is adorable❤
Hi Carla! Happy Easter to you and your family; I hope your day was wonderful and truly blessed. Your videos are always so beautiful, heartfelt, joyous, enjoyable, and informative! I really enjoy coming along with you on all of the outings to antiques and other specialty stores/businesses and strolling through GOD'S beautiful and peaceful landscapes here and there. The day trips are always awesome, and your selection of music is fantastic, relaxing, and totally compliments your videos spectacularly. GOD bless!
What an adorable bunny.! He's very cute and seems to be quite domesticated. We have chickens, and I will tell you that there's nothing quite like cooking with your own super fresh eggs.... we are all longing for Spring and all of the beauty that comes our way as the earth warms up.... I think we might have to get through one more storm this week! Have a great week and thanks again for a lovely video.🌷🌷🌺🌺
Yes, I've been hearing about the Storm and really wishing Spring would get here! lol. We had chickens for 20 years and there's nothing better than farm fresh eggs. Luckily, we have plenty of Farms around us that sell eggs, but I still miss my "ladies". Have a great week Cynthia!
The snow, the steam, the sky, the birdsong!!! What a blessing this Easter afternoon. Thank you for sharing.. especially with us way out here in California. I don't have snow... but it did pour yesterday with thunder and lightning. Opie is adorable!!! I have a soft heart for bunnies. Does he get to roam the house? Loved the turkeys in the snow.... was watching Linda's channel this morning and Willow was looking out the window at the turkeys in the snow covered yard. How fun!!!! What a beautiful sight.
Thank you Liane. Opie runs free in two rooms. Emily does open her bedroom door to let him roam a bit more but we have to make sure Sadie (our Cat) is locked in another room.....they don't get along very well. lol. He seems very content in his two rooms.
Absolutely beautiful! Was the bent over birch from the ice storm in 2012? We have a lot of those here in southern Ontario. Our children had 3 rabbits over the years and they were such sweeties along with dogs, a cat and some birds. I’m envious of the New England states for all their antique shops etc. We don’t have many here like the ones you have that I know of anyway. Love seeing the wild turkeys which we do have where I live.
Thank you Nancy. I'm not sure about the Birch, we did not live here at that time. I agree with you, the Antique and Consignment Shops are wonderful here in New England. I always seem to find some treasures. Have a beautiful week!
Looks like we are in for yet another snow storm as they are calling for over 8 inches of snow Wednesday and Thursday! Candles and matches at the ready ...again!
@@mynewenglandstory Thank you Carla, you too, and keep up those delightful videos it's so lovely to see pictures of places so near to us. Happy Easter.
I would like to try the onion skin ones next time. I think they would have turned out better if we had white eggs. Ours were farm fresh and brown. It was a fun experiment for my Daughter and I to try. :)
Beautiful eggs, How did you do the flowered ones. When my husband passed the first thing l bought was a Generac Generator,it was kind of pricey but worth every penny. There is no way l could run a gas generator by myself,
Yes, they are a lot of work and I'm lucky to have Mark doing that. I would love to have a General Generator. The other eggs are the one I decoupaged in a previous Video. Happy Easter Fran.

Hello. The scene of the bent over birch would make a wonderful painting. I am from Connecticut and there were many beautiful scenes there...

Ihave dyed eggs using yellow and red onion skins years ago. Still have them and the yolks are petrified! They are beautiful still.
