Those are good looking omnibus volumes. I loved the Justice League and Justice Society when I was a kid. Nice to hear a reference to the Super Friends, too, which is where a lot of us back in the 70s and 80s got a steady diet of Justice League stories.
Those few years from 1955 to 1960 the silver age was all DC, then came Spiderman and Fantastic Four and the silver age evolved into something a bit different, both in Marvel and DC; but those few early years with Flash, Green Lantern and Justice League (the Silver Age Beta) are really fun.
Im really enjoying your posts. Steve's site is really great too. Thanks for the tip.Oh, i have the 2 Justice League International Omnibuses which were a hoot. May get this...
My favorite issues were always the two part annual team ups of the Justice League and the Justice Society. My own JLA collection begins with the September 1964 issue, and I have DC Archive collections for the earlier stuff. Great stories.

I watched SO much Superfriends!

Denny O’ Neil was also infamous for completely depowering Wonder Woman.
He did that!? Why, he’s practically a super villain!
I didn't know about the Detroit Era. Fascinating stuff.
We are talking about JLA Detroit on Wednesday!
Great video on the JL. The bra-ha-ha era of Giffen and De Mateis was my favorite. Great stuff. The silver age was fun too.
Steve decided we are both going to talk about JLA Detroit this Wednesday. THAT should be interesting.

I really like those JSA/JLA stories as well!
Sounds like they stick to their knitting, nothing wrong with that.
OMG, I loved the Superfriends cartoon as a kid. Wonder Twins powers, activate!
Yes! The Wonder Twins were decent teen sidekicks.
