2004 749 Monoposto Dark - very few made actually which is what got me so into it to begin with. Could have had the 848 Evo it wasn't a money thing, but he 749 is museum quality I love it :) I live in Spain so its even harder getting my hands on parts so will have to be super careful! I've lowsided on cold tyres in too high gear so been there it sucks! thanks for heads up
will do for sure :) thanks for advice on mirrors! I use my mirrors on the Yamaha but only in high speeds when im hunched over the tank -- otherwise I just life saver to change lanes or check for cops lol :)
Ah nice! I didn't think I'd be able to get a mono - thought I was going to have to convert a biposto, but got lucky in the end! If you're going to be using it often and in traffic, you may want to look at aftermarket mirrors as the stock ones are fucking useless ahah. I got a set from a company in the US that source them directly from Italy (apparently)... Do a walk around video when you get it - would be good to see another one : )
i saw your spill a little while back sorry to see it man a low side crash on a 749 is pretty rare, did you figure it was the surface or gear you were in? I'm buying a 2004 749 Dark this week so excited :) did you go through insurance or pay for it all yourself?
Too much lean for the new tyre I think - coupled with the poor conditions. I'm paying for it myself but unfortunately I cracked the rear wheel as well as destroying the clutch : / Ah cool - is it a mono or biposto? Be aware - parts are not easy to come by! I am learning this now lol
I dont think i could ever live with a Ducati. Even though they sound awesome at WOT, that dry clutch always sounds like a rod knock and id be super paranoid the whole time i rode it haha
So much clutch riding
Ah I miss that sound! Can't wait to get mine back!

yea me to
if you dont want to hear it, buy a 1198 or use a cover, with a clutch cover you hear almost nothing
@@sackmus the 1198 has a dry clutch, like the 1098. the oil bath clutch is equipped with the 848
Having had rod knock on a dry clutch bike, you hear it and very much know the difference.
I feel sorry for uneducated people. Their lack of knowledge withholds from them so much in life.
omg !
Nice example of Doppler.
It is the dry clutch

+Harry Harkins full termi or half?
It´s a full 54mm but the engine has got 1200ccm
Bike sounds awesome but he can't change gear properly 🙄
had 285 kph
285 LOL!!??? On. 749 biposto. Thats 177 mph. Theres no way!
Oldschool Ducati
SRAMEK Not really.
TheSpyChecker Kind of. Last of the dry clutch machines...
ALL Ducati bikes have a multi plate dry clutch, including the 1299. Always have, always will.
Want a classic Ducati? 900SS
Oh yeah, while the 1098, 1099 had dry clutches, the 1199 onwards they switched to wet.
now that was surprising to find out.
что так брязчит ???
