I have an 06 999.. just been quoted £1600 for desmo service .. these bikes need them at 15k and 26k .
The desmo is well worth ownership for a another 10k miles.. these bikes are so under rated by the genral public. Future classics..
So yeh not super fast like a zx10 but more than enough power for the roads.

How is 749 compared to R6?
The 749 is a lot slower and bit less comfortable; however, if you like to turn heads, 749 is the one. I have one and I always receive compliments even from Harley guys
