It was nice of NTDEV to release this builder script to debloat certain stock 11 ISOs to be similar to tiny11. Also that Add-AppxPackage command to install winget is something I'll keep in mind for sure.
17:00 to download a browser its easier to just download the installation file for your preferred browser on to a different usb Before you install the new os
I was gonna mention this. Just have all your essential files on a separate USB - hardware drivers, browser, antivirus, etc. Then use Clonezilla or Rescuezilla to create your base install image. Then install all the programs you generally use. Make another image. This way you can easily go back to an earlier working install if you ever need to. And definitely, format (and partition) your drives. I have one partition for Windows and another for Programs. My images are of the Windows partition. Any malware gets in, I just restore an older image to the partition.
Great video as always. One thing is that if you want to manually remove aspects of Windows, (Xbox, Cortana, etc.) or disable parts of Windows(telemetry, etc.) or want to keep certain parts of Windows(Edge, etc.) one great program is called NTLite. It's a program where you can import and edit a Windows ISO manually, and do things like adding driver support, installing updates to a certain ISO, removing features, disabling things, removing programs, and more. It's a great tool that I think you(Cyber) should make a video on, especially considering you don't have to download an outdated Windows ISO from a 3rd party mirror, and it gives you even more flexibility than this script. Would recommend.
yes NLite is the best option imo too ;) And now there is a script that makes one click debloat easy by selecting a profile and Nlite automatically debloat things for you, the safest and most efficient way to fully unblock an operating system like w11.

heres the thing... i follower your steps, the compiler (UUP)command prompt crashed my computer. when i went to C drive to see if tiny11 was there, it was the same size as the original. when i tried the process again, prompt stated those files existed. i deleted tiny11 from my c drive. then it told me there are files in another folder. tiny11 did not save the second time
These instructions are no longer accurate. The current version claims it does ALL versions of Win 11 now. The download steps are good, but the power shell code is different now and differs from your instructions starting at around 7:00. I couldn’t get mine to run today, the “Run As Administrator” menu option isn’t there.
Not in all cases. There's been a few instances where I had to write the iso to the USB drive as GPT in order for it to boot UEFI. However, in most cases you're right.
@@CyberCPU I was worried I was only getting lucky. So far every machine I've tested it on would either/and boot MBR, UEFI, or fail one and allow me to reboot and try the other.
Potentially dumb question, but could this work with an ISO downloaded directly from Microsoft? Both the Windows 11 and 10 sites allow for ISO downloads, feel like that would be faster than UUP dump.
No, unfortunately it's not possible. The project isn't maintained very well and it hasn't been updated to work with the newest Microsoft ISOs. In a couple weeks I have a video coming out showing how to do the same process with any version of Windows. I think that one will be a lot more usable.
I tried to install tiny 11 on my laptop and it still told me my system didn't meet minium requirements. And yes I selected MBR. I thought tiny 11 has a bypass around system requirements?
this install initially didn['t workout for me . i used all your links etc but where it goes south is right in the beginning thankfully . Where you direct us to run uup_download_windows file , it seeks admin approval and the dos screen then opens and on it it says click any key to continue which i then do and it just closes the cmd prompt . Just to be sure it did in fact close , i confirm in the task manager but also run sysinternals autoruns and it definetly s not running anywhere . Im assuming im not the only one that this will happen to so I suppose this message is just a heads up that you might get few more queries than you werent expecting . Keep up the good show and Thanks , And the resolve is be sure that there are no spaces in the folder names that you download to and run it from
...I don't think it matters much because Microsoft will just repatch the OS upon a major release update and add what ever it wishes to the main install.
I tried the win 11 Lite. I have an older Biostar system with 4 gigs RAM, 2.9 dual core and a 320 HD running win 8.1. It is very responsive and fast. I backed up the OS with drive snapshot just in case and am glad I did. I made the Lite version. Took forever to install. After installation the computer was really slow. I tried an SSD. Made it a little faster but still not acceptable. Updated my drivers but that made no difference. Not a complaint...just letting you know how it worked for me.
When installing and you have deleted all partitions you can click next. It will automatically create the new partitions without you having to do all of those extra clicks

All the updates completed , except for the Windows cumulative update 2023 -10. My Windows version is not the latest because I don't like the 2nd release . Is this update problem from stripping different things from the installer? Also , is this a very serious update not to have ? Is it dangerous if i can't get it to take that update. Couple things... Memory is rusty, but there is a way to select a general, non-specific English region at the start of the install. This removes a lot of region-based garbage. The other thing is a question... Folks think I am crazy, but I don't want Windows Update to run, ever. I want it either forever off or not even installed. Is there a way to disable or remove Windows update using this method, and if so, how?
great video :) plz put a time stamp for your baked in ad......some of us pay for youtube so we have no ads, and since you get paid a tiny bit more when premium members watch. this shouldnt be a prob.
Your videos are awesome
I always wonder how often do you shave
Your always looking for Ideas to video. how about making a video in how to use the Windows Store without having to login with email and password.
Now that's a challenge.
liked this video by the way.
I don't believe that's possible. However, you can install Windows store apps through the powershell and I don't believe you need an MS account.
I opened youtube to see if you put any video and suddenly your last video was the 1st thing i see on TH-cam 😂
All well and good sir. Tiny 11 too must be activated if you want full access. That IS a problem if you intend too use it as a STANDALONE unit. Just experimenting here and will probably dump it eventually.
Rufus was very helpful.
Help it doesn't work it keeps saying that it has ben removed form update servers whe. Downloading the iso
After downloading tiny 11 22H2, it deleted the WiFi option and idk how to get it back on
Excellent. Of course, I want to keep my current data. Also, my PC boots from a small SSD and has most of my data on a large HD. Yeah, I got it when SSDs were fairly expensive.
@5:43 If you download an iso from uupdump that is not direcly from Microsoft, is it still 100% reliable?
It is directly from Microsoft. Uup dump uses Microsofts update protocol.
Ok, I'll have to investigate this .iso further.
Because when I tried to install Tiny11 previously, it failed to mount.
Good evening, i want to thank you for the tutorial it works verywell for me. i do have one question: when i use the unattended file, i get an error and can not install the debloated iso with the unattended script. how can i fix it? do you know what file i need to add to be able to install the iso with the unattended file? thanks
My ISO installed successfully but tried to install Mozilla Firefox via Powershell but unfortunately it didn’t work so had to install it from Microsoft Store and now I have Firefox on my Windows 11 Lite! Overall I am happy that I have my own debloated Windows 11 on my notebook PC.
Can you redo the windows 10 since the tool has been updated?
can i do this on windows 10 ???
One thing I could not figure out in installing windows 10 is. When it comes to drives to install it on I was not given an option to install windows 10 on a GPT formatted Drive? Even though after install that windows drive is GPT. Windows 11 must have corrected that.
Nice video. I will try to do this the next time. 🙂
Glad it helped.
i mean yea its bloated but it got mainstream and people felt like they shouldn't use windows 11 sacrificing more system resources for a very well designed operating system, i mean yeah tracing and viewing processes / reg key values / reading microsoft docs you can optimize it very well, dont be afraid to break the system ! awesome video
I tried to download the Windows 11, version 22H2 (22621.1265) from the uup dump and I get an error after downloading the file from uup dump and run the bat file. I get an error cannot connect to microsoft update server. Any idea how I can get that windows version?
I was able to sort out my installation/iso issue and when it booted it appear that this install was not edited or debloated. For example my pinned icons window is FULL so I don't know what happened I followed everything from the video exactly.
Thank you for this informative video :)
bro when i use the tiny11 creator it just keeps repeating access is denied and the iso barely shrinks by a few kb so when i download it and everything its just a normal windows someone help pls
i love to have brave as a browser. but it's chrome copy do you know what command is for the install?
Sorry Rich, I searched your site for the Windows 10 debloat podcast but found nothing. Is it in one of the Windows T10 ips podcasts? Thanks.
heres the thing... i follower your steps, the compiler (UUP)command prompt crashed my computer. when i went to C drive to see if tiny11 was there, it was the same size as the original. when i tried the process again, prompt stated those files existed. i deleted tiny11 from my c drive. then it told me there are files in another folder. tiny11 did not save the second time
These instructions are no longer accurate. The current version claims it does ALL versions of Win 11 now. The download steps are good, but the power shell code is different now and differs from your instructions starting at around 7:00. I couldn’t get mine to run today, the “Run As Administrator” menu option isn’t there.
That video is really old. I've found a better way to do it here. th-cam.com/video/_gMJNQ3yWNE/w-d-xo.html
HELP CANT GET IT TO OPEN UP IN POWERSHELL
I need instructions secure boot options and tpm processor options off
On Rufus I always use MBR. It will boot either MBR or UEFI.
@@CyberCPU Thanks for the reply! I'll be waiting to check out that next vid. 👍
I tried to install tiny 11 on my laptop and it still told me my system didn't meet minium requirements. And yes I selected MBR. I thought tiny 11 has a bypass around system requirements?
That command in powershell does not work for me...
this install initially didn['t workout for me . i used all your links etc but where it goes south is right in the beginning thankfully . Keep up the good show and Thanks ,
And the resolve is be sure that there are no spaces in the folder names that you download to and run it from
It worked but i dont have the Windows Store like you do, and appx installing doesn’t work for some reason. Any ideas? Google is no help
can we just run the setup by mounting the tiny11 iso or do we really have to make a bootable drive?
running the file from uup i get a XML_parsing_Error ???? how do i get around that ?
...I don't think it matters much because Microsoft will just repatch the OS upon a major release update and add what ever it wishes to the main install.
cant open uup_download_windows.cmd is says it have to many spaces
If you don't want to save it on a USB drive and just an ISO on the computers hard drive and use it in Virtual Box. How you do that?
On a HDD, 4gb ram, which os should i use? Windows 8.1 or windows 11 superlite ?
I do not game. Only casual use
Does it remove the remote desktop? And please show how to get it using power shell
Did you try the one from ghost scepter? Seems similar to the win10
@@LPgmxDan Thanks for the info. I will give that a try.
When installing and you have deleted all partitions you can click next. It will automatically create the new partitions without you having to do all of those extra clicks
How one can remove the hardware reserved ram from windows system
Hi Rich . I ran into a problem with my custom lite iso ,
I'm not a professional so I was hoping you can give me some guidance.
All the updates completed , except for the Windows cumulative update
2023 -10. My Windows version is not the latest because I don't like
the 2nd release .
Is this update problem from stripping different things from the installer?
Also , is this a very serious update not to have ?
Is it dangerous if i can't get it to take that update.
I rather not make a lite iso using the newest Windows 11 version build
because it keeps throwing errors .
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.
Don
Can this Tiny11, be used to upgrade from Win10? And, if when fresh install Tiny11 can Windows Store be used to install whichever browser instead using win get?
Wouldn't call it tiny, slimmer would be a fair to say, Tiny is from Windows X-Lite, which reduces the size of OS to 1.3~1.5Gigs without losing much compatability to software.
@CyberCPU can you comment on your thoughts about Tiny11 Builder vs MSMG toolkit vs NTLite?
Super ncie video as usual!!
Alternative: NTLite. Complete customization.
I just heard about that. I may make a video on it.
@@CyberCPU looking forward to your video... those settings are really overwhelming for me
Is this free or should we purchase it?
