I think that you should leave it for a while and go do some easier pieces because with them you will master stuff that you will need for this piece. Thank me later ☺️

This concert is actually not as bad as it looks. It sounds and looks so difficult, but it's somehow very hmmm convenient for your hands (don't know the correct expression in English) when you play it. In our music school back in the 90-s it was on the standard program, so everyone went through it during about year 5, and we all thought it was an ok concert to play. Now 7-th concert was a piece not for everybody, remember trying to play it, that was a hell more difficult, and that was just part 1.

Standards must be pretty low for 12-year-olds nowadays. You don't even know how to spell "competition" right. There are a lot of pieces that you could play without being a professional musician. Stop whining, especially on TH-cam.

The book doesn't seem to be graded in difficulty ,may be the pieces were put so a responsible teacher would be able to figure out which pieces to learn first. The Bach piece in book 3 is about grade 5 level and in the same book accolay concerto may be around grade 7 level. Any ways collection of pieces are challenging yet beautiful. I try to pair it up with the suzuki books and also look at violin syllabus from Trinity,Abrsm,RCM to understand at what grade a particular piece may be studied.
When I first saw I was like "You asked mme to choose between other concetrs and you didn't accept it so now ur giving me this shit?". I hated it so much. I came here cuz my teacher told me that "u must play it in that motion". But after 3 years of playing that, I acctualy think that it is just like banana with peanut butter - ok, but between others, I will not choose it.
