Let’s Repair a Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ90 Camera Battery Cover

I have used my Lumix TZ90 for several years and its a great camera. However a couple years ago now I broke the battery / Sd Card cover. I found a replacement but was a little uneasy bout fixing it however I thought today is the day that I would give this a go. I did find a Lumix video on here but the camera was suitably different to mine that It warranted making this video.

I know the pain, lost many springs into the ether fixing Panasonic Lumix TZ55. I would like to know how to discharge the flash battery/capacitor without bricking the motherboard, and having 20,000 volts up your arm. lol.

I picked up a used Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS6 on Ebay a few years ago for around $12 if I recall. It didn't come with the charger (which I already had from my wife's DMC-ZS5), or the micro HDMI or USB cables. I bought a 3 pack of the batteries (looked like the same one your camera uses), along with a charger and a car charging adapter. It takes great photos and stereo videos. The only problem with it is that if you leave the battery in the camera, it discharges over several days, so I take the battery out when I'm not using it.

Ooh that's not good something is draining or maybe when the power goes off something isn't turning off properly most odd
