The video is super entertaining and straight to the point, I rly like ur video formula. I suggest improving a bit the thumbnail and the editing, nice video man!
Thanks man appreciate you. I try to stay on topic and always improve .
What do you think i could fix with the thumbnails
Are they to simple or to obnoxious?
Yoshi Island DS and Yoshi's New Island actually fleshes out the plot of the snes original by introducing a plot element of the seven star children.
That's interesting i never heard that I just wish they would make the gameplay a lil better
I've loved Kirby's Epic Yarn and I really enjoyed Yoshi's wooly world. My first Yoshi experience was the DS one, with the several babies, and then I've recently played to the first one (Yoshi's island) and Yoshi's story.
I must say I'm not as done as you are with the formula because I've really enjoyed crafted world too, I didn't expect any brand new gameplay from the "reverse the stage" thing, I excepted it to be more cosmetic than revolutionary. I've really enjoyed the game mainly because I couldn't wait to see what would be the theme of the next stage, how cleverly crafted the environments would be.
But yeah, I can see your points especially with the comparison with Kirby, let's hope that they'll do a "Yoshi's forgotten world" one day, but in the meanwhile, if they keep doing some very visually interesting Yoshi games with the same gameplay, I'll still be fine with that.
This is really good insight. I will admit the level theming in crafted world is very cute and a big reason to try the game. Maybe the franchise is just to casual for me and i need to move on
other than island, the yoshi games seem to be for a younger mario audience which is why they are generally easier. yoshi's story actually had a couple hard levels and i liked the fact that there were the four levels per playthrough but each chapter had a number of levels to unlock so it gave the game replayability and actual challenge if you prove you know what you're doing. me and my friends would have high score competitions and play it like an arcade game. I liked how there was no goal post, just explore the level and eat the fruit that gives you the most points.
im actually shocked to hear you say people didn't receive that game well because i have only ever heard good things about that game
Yea for whatever reason I've heard alot of people complain about the story book structure that the levels are repetitive. But yea these games are definitely for younger people at this point.
New Island was very boring, most levels could be 100% completed with very little effort, but more importantly it didn't do anything new like you said. DS was fun in that it at least had a few interesting new level themes like the pirate ship levels and the babies with their unique abilities. At the time, it was just nice to have a SNES-style sequel. I got Woolly World on Wii U but never ended up beating it and I'm not sure why. I really enjoyed what I played of it and it felt so much better than New Island or even DS, but I still put it down. One day I'll play Crafted World just because I still have a soft spot for the series even knowing it's mostly more of the same. I agree that it'd be nice to get a 3D Yoshi like Kirby finally did!
Yea i was harsh on yoshi island ds in the video to prove my point but i do have a sweet spot for it too. I probably played it most out of all the yoshi games and i think it has the best music
I LOVE THIS GUYS VIDEO FROMMATS HE NEEDS MORE SUBS
Thanks bro ill have to keep trying

If you want my opinion on Yoshi, there's a lot that Nintendo can do, but they save it for when Mario's an adult and not a baby.
Thats so true mario takes chances yoshi just plays it safe
@@displayland1988 It's like grandparents, you love em, but you wish they would get with the times.
I remember i played Ds and New Island just for curiosity, and i have never touched them again. They're not worth of your time, specially the 100%.
I think the third parties that make this yoshi games take too much inspiration on Snes Island.
Yoshi Story was the only unique one because that was actually made by Nintendo, they tried at least to change something.
Wow I didn't even now that
All the island games where made by third party was crafted made by third party?
@@displayland1988 by Good Feel, also they made Kirby epic yarn and Wooly World, that's why those games are sooooo similar
It's a shame to say, but I feel like yoshi is Nintendo's only bad franchise. with only two really amazing games, with the rest being really mediocre or just completely awful, yeah I can agree with people who don't like the yoshi series
Yea it's not an awful franchise but comparing it everything else Nintendo does it just feels like yoshi is coasting on auto pilot
@@displayland1988 yeah, I agree that a lot of the yoshi games aren't the greatest, but they still aren't awful. I still had fun with DS and crafted world, despite them not being considered the greatest games. and it was pretty harsh of me to call yoshi a bad franchise
