howdy from the western denpa men fandom!!(context: the fandom was for many many years very small and we mainly stuck to google+ and miiverse for a long time before moving to discord, we have almost 700 server members!). this is a wonderful video and to address the lack of hype, most of the hype was overshadowed by the sheer negativity and confusion from people who weren't familiar with the franchise. calling the denpa men mii clones, a rip-off of miitopia/tomodachi life/animal crossing, spitting venom at fans who were rightfully infuriated at people who don't know anything about the denpa men making sweeping claims, etc. while the direct was a massive win for us denpa men fans, it was equally the most irritating due to the mii fandom being obnoxious and punching down. regardless this is a fantastic video, but i do wanna correct some things since you do get some things wrong or likely weren't aware of it. 1. at 6:10 you mention "電波人間のRPG" shown on lists, thats the original japanese version of the game. "The Denpa Men" is just a localized name. 2. 5:19 most people these days do not call it "The Denpa Men 4: Free!" we just call it "The Denpa Men Free!", back then we did since there wasn't much info about it that was accessible to western fans but due to it having its own story and canon, its seperate from the original trilogy. so no, its not the real 4th game. the only time where a 4th game will be a 4th game is when Genius Sonority decides to continue the original story from the main trilogy. additionally the fandom wiki is out of date and isn't being maintained aside from a few small things here or there. 3. the official youtube channel has more footage of the series and more info about The New Denpa Men, which is worth a watch. overall, an awesome video! keep up the good work, also YT don't eat my coment pls

Yes i wasn't sure about denpa ningen no rpg i had a feeling it was the Japanese version of the first but the dates messed me up and i couldn't find solid info to confirm it. Also i didn't know about people Dunkin on the new game thats sad i just thought the franchise and fanbase was small because its hard to find info on these games. I currently own the first two games, along with the new one, and aside from in game purchases and the stamina mission limit, it holds up decently well. Would be a 7, but the stamina mechanic bumps it down a point. Also i wont forgive the nerf to invincibility in the second game, nerfing invincibility so that it might have a chance to do nothing is already bad enough, but they nerfed the item that did the same thing too, its not like the item was easy to get either, so a single use invincibility item that might not work is a bit useless. Im also a bit sad i cant bring my old ones to the newer game, but you win some, you lose some.
I loved Denpa Men 1-3! Currently playing The New Denpa Men. It's okay but hate how once you go into a dungeon you can't leave it unless you give up all the loot you obtained. I guess it's good to grind instead
I thought I was the only guy to actually like Denpa Man tbh, this was a pretty damn good video and reminded me of how good the series was.... great video bro
Game is free because of the IAPs yes. Gems are free (farmed in game over time) or available as IAP. As far as we know, u can get items in game to help during ur adventure.
I played 1-3 like a madman. Almost 100% them all outside of the uber rare drops (especially in 3). It's cool that we're finally able to experience the 5th game. Sucks they didn't sandwich the 4th in too, but eh. As of the time of writing this post, denpa men 5 is unavailable to download in the US, but every other region.
@@displayland1988 If u follow the guide its basically impossible. The only way people end up doing that is by following dumb video tutorials that are highly outdated.
