Mark Jensen used his kids as an excuse to ask for parole. Suddenly, when its's convenient, he needs to be there for them. He never thought of that when pouring the antifreeze. Do them a favor and leave them alone. Thanks Mike, for your storytelling. You have the gift of the gab.
"My parents are 87 and 85 and they need my help." They're going to be dead for 40 years before you get out (in a bodybag) WTF is Captain Chin talking about? like "Oh you have parents? I didn't realize you were the product of sperm and egg, you'll be released from custody immediately good sir I apologize for the inconvenience."
Yeah, that was my first thought on seeing him request that. Where was that consideration for his boy's well-being and care while he was murdering the only decent parent they had?
Yes totally agree! He is monster and very bad harmful influence to his poor boys they are all better off without him. They don’t need someone like him in their precious lives.
I know ya. I was getting ready for the usual let down when the letter was thrown out and the retrial was announced. I gave my phone the middle finger when the judge laid that down again. In the photos then, Julie looked truly happy with her kids. Justice has been served.
Narcissist have no or little empathy for others, he is only looking out for number one. Pretty pathetic little man with a pathetic attempt to get out of prison one day. Someday the kids might figure out they were just pawns in dads game, nothing more.
Well, she cheated and continuously lied to Mark so I'm sure he felt some satisfaction there, as most people would. It's just that they don't have the balls to show it. Not defending his actions but she was far from innocent in this situation.
That smirk was truly creepy. There was more than one video clip of him in court smirking. It's that "duper's delight" thing except that he didn't dupe anyone.
He had a grand ole time at her funeral, talked with his co-workers on how to get away with killing your wife, boasted to inmates about the killing.. Mark is a real piece of work.
“A guy who’s face was made for a fist”; spot on, Mike. Her letter, kept by the neighbors and delivered to the police was pure genius on her part. This was a great one, thanks for bringing this to us. Have a safe & Happy 2024, Mike.
@@chappy24I agree Chappy24...if I ever find myself writing such a letter, and I could get myself to the neighbors house, I freaking wouldnt leave....and if I had the health enough to keep going, I would keep going, send somebody to get my boys from school, and keep goiing...maybe even head to the hospital and get tested for poisons...then hand deliver that letter to thr police, and have them help me get into a protected program with my kiddos. Once you get to the point of writing such a letter, you need out no matter what it takes.
To me he looks like if a rock had a face… or a boulder. Like if a boulder had a human face, but somehow even uglier… that’s what he resembles to me. If that makes sense 😅😂
I so love the judge for saying what I am always thinking when these murderers come out with sob stories for why they should be let go - you decided to take literally everything away from someone. So you deserve absolutely nothing. The position you are in is 100% of your own design and you already got far more than you should by outliving your victims. Thank you, Mr. Judge, for putting it plain and simple for everyone to hear. And obviously, thank you Mike for sharing this story! Only your humour allows me to not boil over with rage when I hear how long these people got off scot free much of the time.
His attorneys really should’ve helped him with that statement. When he said they lost their mother and me, it made it brought increased attention to the fact that he was the one who killed their mother.
Oh that judges speech at the end was bloody brilliant ! Did anyone else notice his 2nd wife had the exact same smug grin as him ? Made for each other, clearly. RIP Julie 💜
The audacity of Mark to ask for eligibility of parole for the sake of his kids, and his family. HE SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THEM BEFORE KILLING HIS WIFE!!
The judge basically said what we were ALL thinking. LoL The guy's pleading like he's a drunk driver that made a mistake or had a lapse in judgement. SMH
What ABOUT the kids?@ what ABOUT those boys. He STOLE their LOVING Mother FROM THEM. He STOLE their early childhood years of peace security and happiness when he was fiendishly POISONING THEIR MOM. THEY get to know their Mom is Murdered - horrifically- in her Grave 🥶☠️💀 and their Dad a MONSTER. Because of him. Of what he DID TO her - to THEM! They get to HEAR the grisly sounds of her death breathing in nightmares for the Rest of their lives - because of HIM. Using these victims as reasons to LESSEN his Sentence ! The most selfish thing anyone could do is leave children without their own mother even if Mark had his beef with her he clearly didn't give a damn about the children to take their mother away from them and thats the most unforgivable thing imo
@@NewEnglandDadThis is factual. The stats on single m0ther homes are atrocious. Well, it never hurts to ask. The worst they can say is, "No." I really like the Judge's Wisconsin accent, by the way. Reminds me of a cousin by marriage I have who is from Wisconsin. He's a really swell guy, and I bet that judge is too.
Ikr!! And he may be asking for parole bc he wants to be there for his family but I highly doubt his family wants him anywhere near them bc he can’t be trusted.. thank goodness he will never get out and they don’t have to run from him .
Go and watch the full plea it’s even better “I am good at capitalism. I employed people. The Business was successful therefore I deserve parole because I could employ people again. And my parents are old. I shit you not it’s ridiculous 😂
Her depression was due to having to live with a psychopath. Devine justice that Julie was actually the smarter of the two, and she proved it from her unfortunately early grave. Thanks for remembering her story for us.
No. Her depression was due to the fact that her husband could not forgive her affair. She even wrote it in her own letter. Did she deserve to die? Of course not. But she is not as innocent in all of this as the narrator is making her out to be.
They both cheated. She slept with someone one single night and came clean about it. He had a continuous cheating affair and lied. He then terrorized his wife for the rest of her life by leaving *his own* naked pictures of her all around town. She offered divorce, he said he would take the children and kill her. He was a terrorist that refused to let each of them go their separate ways. Hopelessness, PTSD and depression would be a normal human response. She wasn't depressed because of a single night with a man that probably that treated her 100 x better than her murder (that was probably the best night of her life!) She was depressed from being married to a terrorist and freaking murdering narcissist. But 1 party is apparently allowed to cheat and the other isn't by your standards. Complete logic 100% coming off you. I think you should apply for a Rhodes scholarship and submit this comment as your entire application. The husband unlike Julie continuously cheated without impunity and was a murderer. If he had simply agreed to a divorce she would've lived a happy depression/terror free life, and the husband could've continued his life with his cheating mistress. Her letter never mentions the word depression, but only says her husband is trying to kill her for a single dalliance nearly a decade ago, read it again, it's right on screen for you. He's also extremely dumb in terms of all the evidence he left and detailing his crimes to anyone who'd listen, especially when he had but a drop of alcohol in him. He literally thought if you delete your browser history that meant it was *poof gone 😂.

This judge is what America’s judicial system must be based upon to protect and give true justices to victims, he is the most just judge I came to witness today. May God bless this amazing judge.
Mark is a narcissistic psychopath. You could see the narcissistic injury in his face when he was first sentenced. He wanted to rage, but he had to keep that mask on.
@@begitteolsen3784 They are often not diagnosed. They don't think anything is wrong with their behaviour and as a result, they never seek help. They affect others' lives negatively but to them, (the psychopath) that is their (the victims) problem. The feel no sympathy, empathy, shame, guilt, remorse and many of the emotions that make humans human. They are able to wear a mask and pretend those emotions by watching others.
@@begitteolsen3784 It's written all over his face - very recognizable if you've done serious research into narcissism. He's an extreme case - psychopathic.
The judges response to Mark asking for parole was clutch! Yeah, that sucks that Mark won't be there for his old parents or his kids. It's so easy for Mark to prioritize the right things when he's in the court room looking at how the rest of his life is gonna be. That's when you start remembering what's most important: The exact moment it's too late. Where was that caring person when the victim needed him most? To be able to sleep next to her as he's killing her slowly takes a special kind of nerve. The sort of nerve that need not be tested again. They made the right call in locking that guy up. So sorry to the rest of the family.
I live 3 hours from Pleasant Prairie and was in 8th grade during the trial (around the same age as the sons) and remember it being a huge thing at the time here in WI. Being that the sons are now in their 30’s, I can’t believe this pos tried to use that as an attempt at parole. I would never want to see a parent if they killed my other one. Complete psychopath and definitely deserves to rot in prison! Thanks for covering this!
He was the only parent left from whom they'd hear the story from, and he probably raised them to believe he was completely innocent. He was free for ten years raising them. One can only hope that now they are adults they've taken the time to look at the actual evidence. I hope one or more has cut off contact with him, but parental brain washing is no joke and takes a strong person with tenacity and a dedication to the truth to overcome.
Very well done that judge, we could do with a lot more like him! How the letter Julie wrote telling of her fears and basically what was going was deemed inadmissible, was a shock, why! It was her telling how he was possibly killing her and she was later found dead from antifreeze poisoning!
OMG at 17:42 when the prosecutor is describing what Julie was going through as she lay there dying, this mofo gives a slight smirk then rolls his eyes. WTF?! It's disgusting that the defense used mental health issues that Julie was dealing with to say she was framing her husband. But hey, I guess it's because they've got nothing else because he's guilty AF. Good on the prosecutors and the judges for not giving up and giving in. I loved what the last judge said too. He gave Julie a voice she couldn't give herself despite her words being written down for everyone to see.
The plea for parole when he says that his boys lost their mother and father. He seems to have forgotten that HE CAUSED IT! Did he think the judge wouldn't point that out?
❤ YES, I ABSOLUTELY AGREE! BOTH JUDGE & PROSECUTOR FOUGHT SO WELL FOR JUSTICE IN JULIE'S MURDER! GOD BLESS THEM. IT'S WONDERFUL TO SEE EVIL BEHIND BARS WHERE HE BELONGS. FOR LIFE! PRAYERS FOR JULIE'S TWO SON'S 🙏 ❤ REST IN PEACE LOVELY JULIE, YOU WERE A GREAT MOMMA! 🕊🙏❤️

@@braidena1633but there was also the list that she found in his belongings. I still feel like it should've been kept in as evidence, like how often can a victim point to their own killer after death? I'm glad he still got convicted after the second trial.
He’s so evil. His wife has an affair because he’s emotionless. But instead of divorcing her like she had requested, he has an affair and tortures her for years…. for having an affair. What hypocrisy.
@@TheGreatProphecy while I sincerely don’t disagree with this general statement about cheating on a spouse, it feels weirdly tone deaf to add this vague, generalised admonishment of cheating in direct response to a non-generalised example that gives context to the specific reasons for its occurrence. The fact you felt the need to vocally empathise with the one cheated on (and didn’t feel the same need to express empathy for the victim in the video) just comes across as direct sympathy towards the murderer in this video, despite knowing this man refused to comply with his wife’s divorce request and used her child to threaten her out of pursuing divorce and instead he mentally tortured her and ultimately murdered her instead of divorcing her. That might be a better question to ask, why couldn’t he just divorce her instead of murdering her if he didn’t want to be in a relationship anymore? If anything the nuanced specificity of this case should be an example as to why discussions about such a multifaceted topic become reductive when simplified to the point all individual contextualisation is stripped away just so they can be judged on their one vague commonality, as it’d be disingenuous to apply a singular moral judgement to something that can have such immense and multifaceted variation to it.
@TheGreatProphecy That is an excellent question. Let's pose it to the husband who had a continuous affair, as opposed to the wife who had a one night stand and immediately came clean about it. Oh wait, I just remembered, the husband was a psychopathic murder and none of that 💩 matters. People cheat, both of them cheated, the issue before the court is the slow tortuous murder. Take an L and sit down
That second judge was such a gem. He chooses his words carefully and respectfully. You can hear the emotion in his voice, he isn’t dismissive or overly formal. Actions have consequences Mark! Ya scumbag
That letter man. Heartbreaking, I understand exactly how she felt because there was a time I experienced the sense my life was in danger and I too wrote something similar to keep track of my symptoms and everything going on at the time. She knew he was going to try to kill her. She wasn't wrong.
First of all "A face made for a fist", LOL, good one! 😂 Also, OMG, When you said his conviction got thrown out I nearly fell off my chair! Thanks Mike for not leaving me hanging too long to find out that the rat-bastard was convicted again.. Phew, good judge, good judge 😌
The fact the woman left a letter saying she was suspicious of the guy that killed her and that’s not a miserable in court is just insane to me. Was she supposed to take it and get it notarized or something?
The letter was not allowed because the defendant has a right to question the accuser of the letter (Julie) and since the letter writer was dead his rights were not afforded, hence, the new trial without the letter.
She should leave him. I see a lot of women leaving messages with their friends thru apps and texts because they feel uncomfortable with men they are currently with. That end up dead. There the fault of the killer 100%, but, the law catching the murderer doesn’t bring back the life. People should take action. I’m not one to speak though. My ex put me in the hospital twice. I almost waited too long. Don’t write letters, just escape.
@@StevenKling-ut9sh did you not pay attention to the video? Mark did not let her divorce him, and threatened to take the kids. You'd best believe that if she walked out without a legal separation he'd absolutely use everything he could to destroy any rights she had to see the boys again. It’s not possible to escape for most women because they need something like the witness protection program to evade being murdered and deprogramming from cult-like brainwashing etc so they can see the truth, but no such assistance exists.

Yes he more pointed out that she was forced to stay with him mostly through blackmail. Never a great reason to be in a relationship but more common than people realise in the 80s and 90s and her affair to him made was like a scarlet letter. If she divorced him it’s more likely he would have had to pay alimony and child support and that’s why he didn’t want her leaving. She should have talked to a good lawyer and moved in with a friend. She might still be alive. But because she had the affair I think he scared her. It’s so incredibly sad but so many women stayed in bad marriages like this because men threatened to take the children.
I didn't see him "make fun" & I watched it twice. If you don't think Mike does a good job or, as it sounded to me, @jasonvoorhees5640, you pretty much think he's a shitty person that blames the victim, I can't imagine why you would watch. Now that I reflect on this exchange, I realize I'm trying to talk sense to somebody that thinks it's cool & awesome to name themselves after a serial killer. Never mind.
I recall watching the retrial. Jury found him guilty *again* I had no idea about the 'letter from the grave' that Julie wrote. As Mike stated it was not admissible in the retrial.
I'm pretty sure that Mike's covered this case before, maybe like a year ago maybe. Glad he did a sort of update because I didn't know that they had granted this turd a new trial.
The letter was never needed. The police were suspicious from the get go and the letter didn't cause him to plead guilty. But how about the plot twist that the letter was actually her revenge? All the evidence presented was circumstantial. It would have been easy enough to orchestrate. The testimony of the friend talking about ways to get rid of their spouses? I'm sure that topic comes up often when people are out drinking and joking around (marry, murder or sleep with?). Cell mate testimony without a recording? Dime a dozen! She knew about the office affair and possibly the deadline plus she knew she didn't have any skills to start life alone. Passive aggressive goes hand in hand with depression. Just saying since he's never confessed and never showed remorse it could be because he was innocent (but born with a punchable face) just as well as a guilty psychopath.
@@pakde8002when you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras !! Also there’s plenty of killers who have never admitted to there killings and have sat in jail just fine that’s not even a defense
Sounds like complete bullshit. There are way too many coincidences and "just becauses" to believe that he isn't guilty. No one is gullible enough to buy his story except for you.
The nerve of that man! Asking to let him out to be there for his children! He took their mum from them! He tortured her! He killed her! Smh...shame on him.
Its crazy how often I hear the defense in court cases for murders, "He's not a good person, he's not a nice person, in fact, he's pretty awful, but that doesn't make him a murderer."
The problem is that people do need reminded of it. I know you hear it a lot in cases where people are clearly guilty, but there are also cases where people are convicted simply because they're unlikeable, and not because the evidence proves guilt. Things like sex, race, creed, sexuality, and perceived immorality color a jury's opinion. it's the reason I absolutely abhor the theatrics of the courtroom. It's more about who puts on a better show than evidence, far too often.
You've probably heard of channel fatigue....I have to say this is the only channel that has kept me watching after years. I'm always waiting to give it a goo. I know that Mike's loyal fans will continue to pass his vids along. Let's get him some more SUBS please!
He didn't care about Julie's kids. He said he and the kids discussed calling an ambulance because she was "breathing funny" i.e., the kids were crying and wanting their mummy helped and he let her die and didn't care about their feelings at all. Sociopaths always get rid of people eventually and even kids mean nothing to them beyond something to use.

Peace out.
That "affair" Julie had that angered Mark so much was a single encounter she had with a coworker, who shortly after moved across the country. Mark spent the next 7 or 8 years harassing and threatening his wife with calls, x rated pictures and emails (when they came along in the later years) making sure she knew this was her fault, it was all happening because of her affair. He even told her he and his coworkers were getting calls and threats at his office, to make it even worse. People wonder why she didn't just leave- well, Mark also for years had told her that if she tried to leave, he'd take the kids and make sure she never saw them. He preemptively started telling friends, family and coworkers about how Julie was falling apart mentally, just a little at first- he started by just mentioning something strange she'd said or done that sounded "off" every once in awhile, later actively saying she was becoming very depressed, "losing it", experiencing weight loss, etc. This was so if she did try to leave, he'd have witnesses so he could tell a judge about her history of mental illness (she'd also been treated for depression before) and use this as a way to gain sole custody and legally make sure she had to stay away from the kids. She knew this but couldn't do anything- claiming "I'm not crazy" generally doesn't work when someone has heard about you acting odd for a few years. This is excellent "in a nutshell" coverage of this case, as always. For a more in depth look, Dave's Lemonade does a great job on it as well, if anyone is interested. Including the part where after Mark is in prison but before one of the trials, where he is caught attempting to "take care of" one of the witnesses against him. It's great. And the little tribute to the prosecutor at the end is definitely worth watching, even if you don't want to watch the entire 3 hour video (although the whole thing really is interesting). That prosecutor stuck with this case from the start and was not taking Mark's crap or anyone else's. It would be funny to watch if you didn't remember that he was doing it all because some mother had been murdered by her sick ass husband.
This is a case I think about too often. This guy is a true sadist and a very skilled manipulator. Scary to know there a people out there like this, and I always wonder how many

How the heck did it take the cops 10 years to arrest this guy?? With all that proof, and that note? I would think he would have been arrested after a few days. Our legal system just continues to baffle me
it's not the cops fault. the police has to get the green light to arrest someone, if the don't get the permission they can't arrest a suspect, no matter how sure they are he's the perpetrator. the reason it takes so long is because the prosecutor/DA hasn't a hard enough case yet, so they tell the cops to wait with the arrest until they think the're a decent enough chance the case can go to court.
@@ChristiaanHW thats why I said our LEGAL SYSTEM baffles me! I understand what needs to happen before an arrest can happen. Its just ridiculous, and in this case, glaringly so!
This is One that will stand out for me as a favorite . The situation for Julie is horrible and I cried for her.... not only for her sons not growing up with their Mom but also for her suffering . This is tragic but it is not often enough that the victim's own words put their murderer where they belong . The audacity that Mark used his "family" as an excuse to be set free was literally insane ; like everyone was just going to forget about Julie when he was trying to put the focus on his lost time with them. What an actual Bleeping Monster . Thanks Mike for bringing Julie's case to light here . She deserves not to be forgot.... and the highlight to any of this is that Julie's sons have it in writing Exactly How Much their Mother Loves them. I have no doubt that she looks in on them from Heaven every night and day .
Oh, he wanted parole NOW - or at least very soon, using his aging parents as an excuse as to why he should have it. The parents would be one more reason to NOT give parole, as, since he is already a murderer, he might decide it would be a great idea to get his inheritance sooner. He's only got one life to and he'd already been sentenced to it. The boys are far better off without his influence.
The look on his face when he was given that letter...I got the chills. I was so happy she wrote that and knew to get it put of the house so he couldn't find it.. but also extremely heartbroken and devastated that she knew something was happening and felt the need to write a letter 💔
Dude. FAF leaving your sneeze in. I was watching your video and my son, who is in the autism spectrum, was sitting a few feet away playing a game started cracking up, for "some reason" he cracks up when people sneeze or trip and fall or drop things, and I knew exactly what he started laughing at. Then I rewound and played it again and he started laughing again and asked me to show him. Thanks for the videos bro.
It was cases like this one, and this one in particular, that I paid attention to. I had an interest in true crime from an early age. As I got older, in my 20's, I started seeing very similar and distinct behaviors to my husband when I watched these cases. I had a feeling something wasn't right, but nothing I could put my finger on, or at least as I look back I see it all now, but I don't think I wanted to believe it. He was guilty of many things, but nothing I could prove. He was cocky because he knew I couldn't. I wanted a divorce and custody of our 2 very young boys. All he wanted to know was who I had told about the things he had done and was doing. I was stupid and said I hadn't told anyone, I just wanted to go with our boys. It was then he warned me if I told anyone or tried to leave I would never see my boys again, and he knew how to disappear. I lived in fear for my children. My husband started smearing my name and reputation to anybody and everyone including our boy's teachers and garnered a lot of pity. But I kept my mouth shut, because it would only get worse if I tried to explain what was going on to any of them. I did finally tell 2 members of my congregation that if I ever disappeared or if they were ever told I left, especially without my boys, that I was more than likely dead, because I never would leave my boys. I started getting mysteriously ill where I would have to be rushed to the ER. 2 of the 3 times he tried to sexually assault me behind the curtains as I waited for the doctor. Only once did a nurse ask me if I felt safe with him there, but she asked right in front of him. The doctors could never find anything and I started to see several cases about antifreeze poisoning after this. I quit drinking anything here poured or made for me. Things settled down for several years. He went on doing the same things. But I started planning. It took several years, I was very afraid, but I took cues from true crime accounts like this one. He tried to kill me in the garage one night. He had been cheating on me, wasn't trying to hide it, but he wanted me gone. I had finally told him I told 2 people that if I went missing, or died, that he killed me. He was livid, but it bought me time. I quietly got a restraining order, documented everything and then filed for divorce. It was only after he was out of the house that my teenage sons started telling me things. He had tried to kill them shortly after he failed to kill me. That was the only way he could hurt me, if he couldn't kill me. I added that to a restraining order and divorce paperwork. Learn to trust your instincts. Document everything. Take pictures of evidence that might disappear. Record threats. Do what this woman did and write it all down. If you mail it to a safe person and tell them not to open it, the postmark will give proof of when you sent it and they can give it to the police if you go missing. Most domestic murders happen when a spouse is leaving. It will be the most dangerous time for you. Have a go-bag ready and a place you can go to all planned out.

The kids are better without him in any way.
Yeah, that was my first thought on seeing him request that. Where was that consideration for his boy's well-being and care while he was murdering the only decent parent they had?

I have never been more satisfied when hearing a sentence laid down ... TWICE!! Thank you, Mike
I know ya. I was getting ready for the usual let down when the letter was thrown out and the retrial was announced.
I gave my phone the middle finger when the judge laid that down again.
In the photos then, Julie looked truly happy with her kids.

That letter by Julie, talk about well done. He thought he got away with it and she had the final word and won. Amazing job and so damn smart
It was a smart move, but I also wish if she were that fearful she would have found a way to get away from him instead of dying.
He has no good intentions with the children. He just wants to be around them so he can manipulate their perception of this tragedy.
He can still manipulate in jail. He did it cuz he wanted out playing the 'family' sympathy card. Pure selfishness.

I feel terrible for her boys. They'll have to grapple with what their father did to their mama.
Indeed, the boys were 3 & 8 at the time of the murder. Now they are 29 & 34 years old, I wonder how they coped growing up.
Why the hell did it take ten years to bring him to trial ??!!
I didn't hear that. That makes this whole thing twn times worse

That was the only thing they had. My dad was a lawyer and had a few cases that where unwinnable but he had to try. He always hated those cases.

@@pakde8002he’s not innocent lmao you’re a walnut
@@pakde8002when you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras !! Also there’s plenty of killers who have never admitted to there killings and have sat in jail just fine that’s not even a defense
Sounds like complete bullshit. There are way too many coincidences and "just becauses" to believe that he isn't guilty. No one is gullible enough to buy his story except for you.
I went to junior and high school with Mark and high school with Julie, a friend of my sister's. She was a sweet, wonderful person. RIP
I love the judge's final comments. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Good speech judge. Glad he brought it back to Julie
You've probably heard of channel fatigue....I have to say this is the only channel that has kept me watching after years. I'm always waiting to give it a goo. I know that Mike's loyal fans will continue to pass his vids along. Let's get him some more SUBS please!

Same for me, I always watch a Mikey vid! ❤
If I could re-sub I would! Love ya Mike!!
Anyone else love that he kept the sneeze in?
Love this channel so much!
Yes! I said ‘bless you’ out loud, to no one 😂
I love your storytelling. Happy New Year.
Thank you so much!
Absolutely one of the best true crime channels. Short sweet and to the point. My wife asks me about life insurance I act as if I don't even know what that is.

I am literally a disabled, chronic pain-suffering shut-in... living on what you fellows across the pond from me "the dole", and due to all that I'm also down to living in a "bed-sit". Can't even have a hamster.
If you ever wonder for even one second if all your hard work and, the big one, having to think about the dark side of life every day the way you do is "worth it"... well, it *IS.*
It's hard and lonely here, and Nawth Calina is packed with folks that aren't much like me... but today, all my cares and even some of the pain disappeared for a full 26 minutes. If that doesn't matter I don't know what does. You help people.
Thanks, Mike, and happy & safe New Year's to you and yours, young'un!!
I'll see you in a day or two & we'll give something new a good ol' goo.
He requests parole, but does not mention his dead wife at all. He could have divorced her to marry his mistress, but no he murdered her. Their children lost their mother. And he lived scot free for ten years after her death, remarrying and having another child. So, so selfish.
Great judge! I loved what the second judge said..
Mark Jensen's vindictiveness is beyond comparison and it cost him his life, too. The remaining victims have to live with the fact that their POS father killed their mother.
Thanks Mike for showing Julie's story but for everyone else - if you want out of a relationship just GO!
On a cheerier note, Happy New Year to All!
Let's all start anew and make the best of it.
Peace out.
Happy new year to you!
She outsmarted him, this is amazing! Rip to a real kind and smart lady.
The audacity of him to ask for parole is astounding, you should have thought about that before you killed her!!
Absolutely spot on! Sad but true and too common around the world.
she couldve left and him and had split custody of kids. this was her best option for marrying the first guy who came along.
She did start it by cheating, but no need for death, just move on and get custody of the kids
@@chick-fil-agal2264 I agree. She didn't deserve to die but it explains why he treated her like shit for those 7 years.
Doesnt matter, betrayal is betrayal, once or 100 times. Excusing betrayal is sickening. You probably do/did the same.
This is a case I think about too often. This guy is a true sadist and a very skilled manipulator. Scary to know there a people out there like this, and I always wonder how many

Bravo to that judge 👏👏👏
@@joeymims5852
NBC have a newspaper feature online that gives a very full explanation of why it took so long👍
Innocent until proven guilty.
@@AntiFaGoatYeah, he was proven guilty, and he could’ve and should’ve been put on trial and proven guilty much, much, much sooner than he was.

Good Work for the letter Julie
How long did he think his parents were going to live 😅 using them for a chance of parole? It was absolutely fkn disgusting 😮
Thanks Tyler, great share.
Thank you for sharing that.
Your comment made my heart smile. Thank you.
Blessings on you and your son. ❤
What's FAF? Where is that in the story?
@CrimeAllTheTime if I had to guess-FAF might mean funny as f*ck-but I could be wrong.😂😂
If you have children or pets plan ahead for them as well.
Be safe.
Hope things are good now, God Bless and well done, brave lady X
How brave of you. Glad yo hear that you’re safe now.
I’m so glad you and your boys are safe. It was very brave of you to escape. I can’t even imagine the fear.

Imagine he had the audacity to ask for the eligibility of parole so he could continue to live his life and be with his kids and family while robbing Julie of the same. I am just happy that both judges upheld the sentencing.
I'm so glad he wasn't given the possibility of parole. What a POS.
Before every murder show I wait for that special phrase "she lit up the room" LOL
The victim could look like a toothless Chihuahua with bald spots on speed and they would still call the victim "beautiful."
Not in this case specifically, but in general.
Or, "He'd give you the shirt off his back."
I try to be as boring as possible, keeps me safe.
lol I feel a little safer knowing that I'm an introvert who would walk into a crowded room, get anxious being surrounded by too many people, and try to quell my anxiety by finding a cute pet to spend time with while ignoring most of the people around me.
