Those texts made my stomache turn. I split from a completely unhinged narcissist 5 years ago, and still seeing councelers to get my head straight.
Like sending texts about how honeored he was to have me and truly sorry for hurting me. Then within an hour hes calling me every nasty and degrading names and throwing my insecurities at me.

5:36 i don’t know why, but the fact that it was Katie’s sisters boyfriend who was threatening to kick the door in just really gave me the warm fuzzies. Like they all cared about her so much, even her sisters boyfriend.
I'm glad the police spokesman said what he did after the trial. Coercive control has been a criminal offence in England since 2015. Sadly Katie either didn't know about the law or didn't realise that coercive control was what she was experiencing. The more awareness there is in the community, the better.
He's trying to get away with murder but he's not even smart enough to use spellcheck? Yikes.

Yeah esp when she actually knew how to spell and he don't. The fact that he didn't hit on spell check while he was pretending to be her baffles me. But I say it all the time it's wonderful that most of these people are dumb and they literally get themselves caught with their dumbness

I always wonder why the idea of having control over another person is so appealing to these monsters. What do they get out of it??
I imagine that it's an absolute rush. Adrenaline coursing through the sick person's veins as they realise that they have the god-like power to control someone else's life. Imagine now, that there are people out there who have this rush a million fold when they are a dictator and have control of an entire country. Their ego is huge and their hearts are miniscule.

It important to understand that the brain of a sociopath, psychopath is wired differently than a normal person, but this is more about emotion. Lacking the normal range of emotion causes them to create diabolical games as a means of simply pure entertainment, and the deep seated jealously they have against you for having "normal emotions" It is the aim of these individuals to create an environment where you are suffering, seeing you in emotional turmoil is their trip to Disneyland.

Katie was so, so far out of Andrew's league. Not just in looks, but as a person. He spotted a vulnerable woman and abused her until she couldn't see her own self-worth, and then he killed her. It breaks my heart. I was almost Katie when I was in an abusive relationship years ago. 😢

I love how the cops are like. Hey, you should come forward or if you’re in an abusive relationship… Then reality they come forward and the cops are like oh sorry we can’t do anything until they attack you or do something that could probably kill you… Otherwise, we’re not gonna do anything…, but please come to us, and at least you know, beg us to do something before your significant other eliminates you.… But we won’t do anything

It has taken me awhile, but I think I'm finally used to seeing you sans glasses. Of course, I wouldn't be opposed to seing a resurgence of them. 😄 With or without glasses, this definitely is my favorite true crime-type channel. One of my favorite things about it is how you can inject some humor into these videos, but not at the expense of, or being disrespectful to victims and their families.

I’ve lost both parents (one when I was two years old, and my mum when I was 21). The loss of a parent is tough, so I feel for you and thank you for sharing. For years after my mum passed I dreamed of her and often I heard her voice. Nothing spooky, nothing esoteric, it’s just that she was always on my mind, or in my subconscious. Strength to you as you heal and move on to live your very best life!

I don't know what you do in life, but use your talents. If you say, "I have none." Then go to a soup kitchen. Surely you could help somehow. Or visit nursing homes. Who knows, someday you might be in a nursing home craving someone, anyone, to give up a ½hr of their time once or twice a week. With Christ's love in your heart, go do something for others. Play an instrument, or if u sing, then sing. Another idea, read a book...chapter or 2 at a time, smile, talk with them, make them laugh, and feel special. If you don't want to go alone, take friends, family, Peter, Paul or Mary or Dick and Jane might be free. Lol, i hope I made you smile. Here's to the rest of your days on earth going great. I went through years of abuse untill i left the state without him knowing. Thats been 15 years ago and ive never been happier. The first sign of abuse just leave and dont look back

Going through an abusive relationship that involves the same manipulation just because I have mood disorders, I'm called crazy and blamed a lot for a diagnosis and issues I can't control. I worry, sometimes, that I'll wind up in a ditch somewhere nearly every day. One day, I'll finally get the help I need to stand up and fight. I just hope it isn't too late.

So, it hurt a little to watch this. Knowing she took the same steps that I'm taking to let people know that if anything happens.. It's not by my own doing.... I know my phenomenal grasp of grammar is a saving grace, as well.

When I took my daughter and left for the shelter, it was the hardest thing I'd ever done. He never hit me and I lied to get in the place. How they manipulate us and others is so slick! Don't warn, don't threaten and careful about who knows. Make it the biggest surprise of their lives and DON'T GO BACK! It may save your life sweetie 😘

I've heard Katie's tragic story before, its horrific.
I lived with DV too for 7yrs and i agree with what the family said, if this is happening to you DON'T EVER GIVE UP HOPE IN TRYING TO GET AWAY, and if you know somebody in a situation like this please don't ever give up being there for them and giving support, while you may not understand why "they don't just leave" there are reasons which i feel are too long to go into here but please believe me when i say its really NOT that easy and the VERY BEST thing you can do is be for them and just know that one day they WILL find the strength, the courage and the ability to leave and your support can and will mean the difference in them staying away for good, healing and rebuilding their life.
R.I.P beautiful Katie, you deserved so much better, but are still loved and never forgotten ❤️ 🕊

The police department made a one off documentary during their investigation with full support of the family. Takes you every step of the way. Because of his background of work in landscaping. The grave he dug, crime scene specialist said the precision in which he matched the earth he dug out back into place including the roots underneath. They would have never had been able to find her.
I know someone like that. He sows chaos and confusion. He makes you doubt yourself, and your sanity. All smoke and mirrors, no substance. Not homicidal, at least not yet.
Every time I watch one of Mike’s videos I want to pick up my acoustic and play that intro music.

That bastard planned to take Katie's life at least a month before he killed her. Just by looking at him, you can see he's clearly a scumbag and a nutter.
Katie was a beautiful young woman. He took her away from her kids, her family and her friends. He took her life and he killed her in a brutal way.

People who kill others should experience in detail exactly what their victims went through. Anything less is too good for them.

When he was being questioned after being arrested and charged with "kidnapping", he appeared to be very compliant and pleasant. I feel an innocent person would have been angry and saying "why are you wasting your time with me when you should be out looking for her ??" When they asked which rehab she might be at, he should have had a list of rehabs and notes next to each one he had called or visited in search of her. He was almost smiling in his smugness.
I like that you do crime from different countries. I’m from the US and we hear about our crimes but don’t hear about crimes there so it’s good that you cover them.
She divorced her husband as things were not right. His manipulation caused her not to trust her intuition. Damn! How awful.

I had to look up who Kevin Lee was and what a "country meatloaf" was. I thought he stole my recipe at first! But I don't add salt (meat and cheese have plenty already) and I use fresh pressed garlic (who uses powder???). And also, I'm a city girl and we just call that meatloaf. My recipe (for 35 years now) is a better spin-off of my Moms meatloaf.
